Just booked our flight down today. I am waiting on points to book the return flight, but I couldn't pass up the fares for the flight down.

Here's the thing, though...AFTER I booked our NONREFUNDABLE flight, I remembered how absolutely scared spitless I am to fly. I think I had repressed it...we don't fly very often. I'm having a mini anxiety attack over here!

I'm sure I will get over it...but I've also never flown with my kids. They are 4, 6, and 7. Any tips???

I am right there with you. I HATE flying. The only times I've been on a plane were in 2011 and 2013, going to Disney. It's a guarantee I will have a mid flight cry fest... I'm especially concerned about this trip because this time my husband and I will have our daughter with us, who will be 9 months at the time of flight. I don't know if I can handle the fear of flying as well as trying to care and sooth her on her first flight. I wish we could drive, but my husband refuses.

Sorry, I changed my hotel. We are going to do a split stay. 10/17 to 10/19 at AKV then 10/19 to 10/23 at BLT.
I'm so excited we can stay at BLT :cool1
We can walk from the MNSSHP right to the hotel.

2 families staying at POR September 28-October 5th (1 day in Universal) and surprising the littles, both 2 1/2 and 6!! Can't wait! Oh, and forgot to mention running the TOT 10-miler, second Disney race!

So so sorry, I need updated one last time. We are celebrating my son's 8th birthday and he only wants to stay at AKV Kidani. So all days will be there. Hopefully next visit I can stay at BLT.

So how are everyones plans shaping up now that hours are out and ADR's are here or fast approaching?

Once hours came out easywdw came out with their predictions and I only had one issue with my Hollywood Studios day. Touringplans had it at a crowd level of 2 but easywdw has it listed as the worst park. Instead of worrying about it I swapped it with our DTD/Disneyquest day.

Today I went over plans with the BF. He's happy to leave it up to me but doesn't hurt to get his thoughts(and to prevent any "why aren't we doing that?" lol). It was just for what parks on what day and restaurants. I told him this trip would be more relaxed and as we are staying at AKL really want to enjoy the resort as well.

TAs have them now pp, it was posted a few pages back and you can find on Easy wdw.
I have my plans I believe firmed up. I started with 5 sceneios earlier this week but re-organized to make a workable plan with flexibility. That means a day less in parks then I planned but probably wise.
Now just waiting on ADRs but I am only making 3 due to MNSSHP and F&WF. I am still undecided on BOG dinner ADR but I figure if I get lucky and can score one, Ill make it work. If not, it wasn't meant to be.

Leave NJ Friday night- Arrive Sat 10/4, one nights stay. Swim, relax and maybe DTD if we have any energy after the drive
Sun- Check in Timeshare off site, grocery store run. Boma Dinner ADR. Maybe DTD at some point if we didnt go Saturday.
Mon- EP/F&WF Illuminations
Tues- MK- 8 am CP adr. Stay as late as we feel up to. BOG??
Wed. Universal Studios
Thurs MK morning, mid day break, MNSSHP in evening. QS meal
Friday- DHS QS meals
Sat- Check out of Timeshare, into one night hotel. IOA
Sunday- Flexible on what we feel up to- EP for a little while? Drive home to NJ in late afternoon so easy day.

Here is our tentative plan so far...

Oct. 19th: Arrival/relax day (No ADR, counter service at DTD or POR)
Oct. 20: Animal Kingdom day (dinner ADR somewhere...Yak and Yeti, Boatwrights, Cat Cora, Ohana, Raglan Road, Wilderness Lodge, TRex...? Open to other suggestions...we won't have park hoppers so it will have to be in AK or outside parks)
Oct 21: relax/pool in the AM, Maybe pirate cruise for DD, then MNSSHP Day (dinner ADR, Be Our Guest)
Oct. 22: Early BBB Appointment for DD, Magic Kingdom Day (No ADR, counter service)
Oct. 23: Epcot Day (breakfast ADR, Akershus; Dinner ADR, Garden Grill or San Angel Inn)
Oct. 24: Hollywood Studios Day (breakfast or lunch ADR, Play and Dine at Hollywood and Vine)
Oct. 25: Free Day: Pirate cruise for DD if not already done, pool, shopping, might add on park tickets if we feel the need (Yachtsman Steakhouse ADR)
Oct. 26: Depart (No ADR)
