It's Official...IT'S PALIN

THAT'S who everybody's been talking about?? I thought it was MICHAEL PALIN. Ya know, Monty Python? Shoot, I almost would've voted for it that was his pick.

Gotta love ya for that one! :rotfl2:

HAHAHAHAHAH that is funny "abortifacients!"

Move to "Latin America" and do your part because I am not sure what Palin as VP has to do with a hosptial in Latin America.

Wow. This is really sad. Are you really completely unaware of this movement?

Again, do a little homework. The first plan is to repeal Roe v. Wade, then go after all hormonal birth control.

Bush has been pushing this as recently as last month.

I hardly think McCain can just pluck any woman Republican out of obscurity and expect all Hillary supporters to think he's their man.

Would you make up your mind? Does the veep matter or not?

Good grief...:sad1: She is not "a woman AGAINST women". She is a woman who perhaps holds a different set of values and political views than some other women.

Good Grief is right. She is AGAINST women having any say about their own business, that is against women ... While is not the only thing I base my vote on, it does matter to me and a LOT of other voters, male and female.

Its just kill' ya, huh?

No it scares me. She could actually become the VP and McCain is 72, has had cancer, I don't know that he will be around for 4 years and I do not want this woman to be president.

Yes it was a clever political move but it puts the country at risk.

Would you make up your mind? Does the veep matter or not?

Make up my mind? Are you quoting the right person? I never said a VP mattered. Exhibit A: Dan Quayle.

I just think it's hilarious that the Republicans want everyone to quake in their boots over the "green" Obama and McCain chooses a second-in-command who's even greener.

The logical leap for many is that all women who are pro-choice would automatically terminate, I most wholeheartedly assure you this is a lie.

Most prochoice people I know would never choose abortion for themselves. They just think it a decision between a woman and her doctor. No more no less. Many on the right just do not get this MAJOR distinction. And it is a major one.

I was one of those people. A republican that knew abortion was not a choice for my family. But who was I to say what was the right choice for another family?

Then, at 30 weeks of gestation (3 weeks into the third trimester) my wife's water broke and she and was life-flighted to Denver where my DS was born. We spent 7 weeks in the NICU and I saw babies. Babies born as early as 25 weeks. Babies that could have been legally aborted. It was a life-altering, watershed time for me and my wife. It forced me to come to the realization that it's not about a "choice" It really is about a baby. And those babies deserve to be protected. The will to live by those fragile little babies is tremendous and inspiring. For me, it has nothing to do with religion. It has nothing to do with choice. It's a baby. And I have have seen them up close and personal. I challenge anyone to spend time in a NICU and still think it's OK to terminate those lives just because they are untimely or unwanted.

Yeah, the whole "Emancipation Proclamation" thing really hurt him in the swing states.

Actually he won with a 39% of the popular vote in a 4 way split election, because there were northern and southern Democratic Candidates, which split the democratic vote for his first election.

He only got 55% of the popular vote in the second election, and that was only northern states that were voting.

So no, I would not say he was widely popular at the time....

Having said that, you can play what if's till the cows come home, he got killed and he is one of the greatest presidents we have had.

If they win, I guess her husband us going to have to be Mr. Mom.
She has young children, and I feel sorry that their mother will not be around much. Being governor is a lot different that being VP, with all the traveling and being out of the home.

I think a lot of voters look more at the sex than the views. Not saying it's right, but it's the truth.

And of course, NO ONE would ever look more at the race of the candidate than his views, huh?

Just saying.....

Come on. The hypocrisy of Obamaites who screech "Racist!" at anyone who isn't entranced by BO, but will fall all over themselves to claim that Hillary supporters will vote for ANY woman just because she's a woman, is both amusing and appalling.

When 90% of Democrats vote for Obama in the primaries over Clinton, there is no way on earth anyone with one working brain cell can claim that race didn't play an enormous role. More Democratic women voted for Clinton than Obama, but it was nowhere near a 90/10 split! But that's a dirty little secret we just can't talk about. It's just tooooooo politically incorrect and delicate.

Bullcrap to those who wil not admit the truth. For every woman who will vote for ANY woman, there are multiple Blacks who will vote for ANY Black and oddly enough, Whites who seem drive to vote for Obama out of some need to "prove" they are not prejudiced. :rolleyes1 There is a wave rolling over our country which seems to bully people into being afraid to openly criticize Obama for fear of being labeled a racist. Never mind if the things you oppose about him have ZERO to do with race. And people being the sheep they are, are so afraid of being identified as racists that they join the bandwagon to "show" they are openminded. :headache:

I'm not talking about Obama supporters who truly support and agree with his stances.....and there are many of them. But I have come across too many who cannot name one single thing that makes them support Obama. Yet they are going to vote for him. That's nuts. My crazy MIL, who has always voted Republican, plans to vote for him because she is Oprah and celebrity obsessed. YIKES! I'm not voting for him, but that doesn't mean I've swung over to McCain. I'd have to have a reason to support McCain and I haven't seen it yet. But I'll be danged if I'll vote for Obama just to prove to someone that I'm not prejudiced, especially when one of my objections to him is that racist trash that came out of his church.

So before anyone goes off on women only voting for women, you might want to examine why SOME Obama supporters are voting for him. You may not have any place throwing stones.

:rotfl: Have you been pregnant? I don't consider it a laugh riot, but something I'm having to endure so I can have a baby. And I'm not even huge yet!

Having an unwanted child because someone didn't approve of my lifestyle is punishment. For me as well as the child. Adoption isn't the answer for everyone, either.

If you didnt want the child, then you should not have went through the motions. Like a good little American, you want to pass the buck. Instead of taking responsibility and dealing with the consequences of your actions, you want to blame someone else.

Tell you what, if you get pregnant and are thinking of aborting, PM, I'll adopt that precious little bundle of joy.

Ummmm. Clinton inherited a defecit from Reagan and left a surplus for Bush.

And I guess you didn't watch Obamas speech last night. 95% of people to get a tax CUT.

I guess you didn't read what I wrote. The end of the Cold War brought a lot of money, that was marked for defense, to the Clinton era. Thank goodness he had a Republican congress to keep it in check. He wasn't in charge of the spending.

I've read his platform. The business owners....the people that provide the jobs....are getting hit with higher taxes. They will be paying their "fair share". That will give many people tax cuts. They won't have a paycheck and therefore....a tax cut.

I'm not for second or third trimester abortions. I think the woman would and should know by the end of the first trimester if she wishes to continue her pregnancy. I cannot have an abortion in my state now, and I'm 15 weeks along. My niece was born at 24-25 weeks, and she's doing just fine.

Now here's what I'm thinking - the Republicans have now identified their own woman to be president someday. Hillary supporters should see Palin as a threat, not as an option.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Talk about a reach ... thanks for the belly laugh!

Abortion NEVER goes away. It just goes underground.
