Hi guys! I am officially back at AKL for my Jan 2-8th stay! I changed resorts for a while due to budget constraints, but with the 35% off I was able to book Standard View! Please tell me I'll still love it

Well, I officially love AKL -Kidani!

We moved yesterday from BWV. Last evening we checked in after a long day at MK (and a long night packing to move) and it turns out - we were the Kidani FOD. We got upgraded from a 1-bedroom Savannah view to a 2-bedroom Savannah view. This room is enormous!

And there are giraffes outside my window.

I don't ever want to leave.

We were doing fine until someone complained about us (the nerve!!). We told that person we were happy to answer any of her questions, but that didn't satisfy and she complained.


Brandi: "Number 8" is the "official" one now and is on the Resorts Board -- our "AKL Lite" (and other things!) thread is on the Community Board. That's how I keep them straight!


It just hasn't been the same though.


The irony is she's probably long gone........not that I'm bitter or anything............

That sounds amazing! We got upgraded from a one bedroom suite on DCL to a two bedroom suite a few years ago and that was SO awesome! I hope you're having the best time.

Also, what does FOD mean? :-/

It is a special place and we all love it for many reasons, but the giraffe's were my big sell....

We are staying in a preferred room at Pop on Sunday and then moved to AKV-Jambo staying in a value room. I'm wishing extra hard for savannah view.

I didn't post all the time, but I loved being able to read what was going on with everyone. Have no idea anymore since the thread got split. I just can't keep up with two threads very well. I don't multi-task like I use to.

We just arrived to Jambo this afternoon and it is incredible! My DD is taking a nap and I'm just watching some zebras (I think, hard to see cause it's dark) snacking. So peaceful. This place is wonderful!
