Wow you are one busy lady...

Work has been ok... It is a lot of work and I seem to always have more...

I will be flying Friday afternoon, I am hoping to go to DTD tomorrow fingers crossed....

My hubby usually doesn't care where we stay, he just goes for the food! I can tell you that I usually "trim" the cost when I tell him what the total is for our trips What he doesn't know wont hurt him or my vacations, lol!..

....normally, I'd kinda [a-HEM] 'forget' to mention some of the costs and it wouldn't be too big a deal, plus the fact that I am a real scavenger when it comes to great deals. Trouble is, this time I know in my heart of hearts, that we really CANNOT afford to take this vacay - I'm literally counting every penny. I don't like to be in this situation, but that's just the sad reality of it.... My lil' bro' and his family will be going again in April, and I'm trying to find the perfect opportunity to perhaps suggest going at the same time. The downside to that is my DH really likes going to WDW during the Holidays. Besides, April is when his <lean> construction business begins to pick up again and, as a self-proclaimed workaholic, there's no way he'd go on a vacay in April....

I went through 7 to get to 8 last night. Thank you kimmar for all of the great info.
My family and I are staying in a standard room in the AKL Nov. 1st-8th!

Has anyone else stayed in a standard room before? If so, did you feel like you missed out on the animals not having them out your window?

There are SOOOO many public viewing areas....it's a loss, but not a huge one. Heck, you can publicly view the animals, from inside, in many of the HALLWAYS at AKL. That doesn't include the set, outdoor viewing areas scattered around.

You'll have a great time, either way!

This is round 2 with this particular nastiness. About 3 weeks ago, it was a quick hitter that was gone in about 2 days.

About a week ago, it started with round 2 in the rest of our house. I was the last to succumb (Sunday-ish)...though it's hanging around with eveyrone. It's lasting lots longer, and is much nastier, this round.

Coughing fits so bad that, no joke, it threw my back out last night (which is lots of fun to deal with when you're already feeling miserable). Our house sounds like a TB ward.

Still..this too shall pass. Some mucinex, 1000 mg of ibuprofen every 6 hours (for my back), and nyquil before bed...I'll live.

You know what would REALLY make me feel better, though? If kimmar told us about her potential upcoming trip/countdown thingy........

You all need to quit sharing so much family time!

And I completely agree with Kim coming clean about this potential countdown...

I don't have time to read the whole 5+ pages over there but I did post. You can make it work, Kim. We have gone every year except 2 for the past 16. It is expensive, but SO worth it. Good luck!!
