Hi Sandy!
I spent December 13-20, 2003 in Disney and it was fantastic. Little to no crowds (the no crowds pertains to AK on a rainy Sunday. Can you say only us and CMs literally in Asia?). No longer than a 20 minute posted wait most of the week on almost all the attractions.
But don't let the low crowds fool you into thinking you can just walk up to CP without a package. There was hardly anyone in EPCOT the day we went and I can tell you the stand-by line for CP was twice as long as the package line (and we were backed up the Japan).
Enjoy!

Don't forget me....... We (myself and DD9) will be there from 12/3/04-12/11/04 Staying at Pop Century :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:
This will be our 5th trip to the world together and our 4th time there for the holidays.... There is not a better time to go :) We will be going to CP which we only saw part of in the past, the MVMCP, Chef Mickey, Adventurers Club (DD9 loves that place) I am already so excited and we just got back this past November.

Me too! My friend and I are going December 6 through December 11. I can't wait. It is all I think about. At work, I think how I am working for money for Disney World. it is what is getting me through. I've never been to WDW at Christmas time, so this will be very exciting.

We plan to do MVMCP and CP. We have some tentative dates, but we have to wait utnil we know for sure. We are going to eat all over the place including Chef Mickey's and the Princess Breakfast at Akershus! We are staying at the Cornado (a first for me). I am so excited. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one planning and being excited! I haven't been since August 2002! I'm so excited!- - Can I say that too many times???

I hope we can all keep each other excited all year! Have a great trip everyone! Maybe I will see you there! - - Do the DIS people still wear lime green ribbons?

PattiPB, that was me that said we were staying at RPH. We have 2 ressies for USO. I booked the Hard Rock because we liked it so well in October, but then I found the Royal Pacific Hotel for $100 less a night! So now we will hold on to both and see what kind of rates we'll end up with. Being as it will be Christmas Weekend, I doubt I will find anything really amazing as far as rates. I have been allllllll over the USO/IOA Boards! Especially before our trip in October. They are a great bunch of people!

Do any of you, who have been there before at Christmas, take decorations for your room? We will be at RPH on Christmas Morning and I just wondered if I should decorate for those few days? Our boys still believe, so Santa is going to write a note that the gifts were left at home, but I wonder if I should have a small tree and maybe a few small gifts...a gameboy game, books, crayons...what do you all think/do?

It's never too early to get excited about your next trip to WDW! Or too early to plan! We are going 11/27-12/4 and staying at the Beach Club. Taking 5 nieces/nephews. 3 are first timers.

Sister and her husband will be joining us from CO - but they will be staying at Shades of Green.

Can't wait!!!!!!

We'll be there week of 12/12, 3rd annual Buffalo Girl's Christmas trip. Not sure were we will stay, maybe POP and French Quarter.

We were in AK on that rainy SUnday too!!! I could not believe how empty the park was. We were walking to Lion King & we did not see one other visitor!! The Lion King show was empty. I would say probably no more then 50 people!! (if that!!)

We walked onto every ride without a wait, including the Safari. The only wait we had was for ITTBAB & that was only waiting for the first show to get over.

angey77: In your opinion, was the Fantasmic package necessary during Dec 13-20 2003?

I was kinda concerned about this too, but decided against the Fantasmic package. I'm not sorry I did either. We got to the theatre a half hour before start and there were still three sections wide open. We sat front and center on the eighth or ninth row. Keep in mind there were only two of us, so we could easily fit, but Disney had no problem getting everyone in.
My suggestion would just be not to get there at the last minute so that you get a decent seat.

We'll be there for a couple of days in Dec. as well. My dd's 5th birthday is Dec. 11, so we're going down for the weekend to celebrate! We'll be there for 8 days in August for a family reunion at PC, but in Dec. we get to stay at the WL! I'm so excited! It's never too early to plan!!!!

I'll be at SOG 12/4 - 12/13. Me, DH(B'day on the 6th!); DD, DD, DS, DIL & DGS. The last time I was in the parks for the holidays was in 1983!!! I am so looking forward to this trip!

My sister and I will be going Dec 4-11, staying at the Wilderness Lodge, very excited, first time staying onsite. Planning on doing MVMCP, but waiting for tickets to go on sale to decide which day.

Planning on the 3rd annual New Year's at WDW! 12/27-1/01/05.Leaving earlier this year.. hate the Saturday holiday!

Hi, TIGGER'SFRIEND hello from sunny West Seneca. Me and my wife's family are leaving on 12/11 and staying for 6 nights at Shades of Green. In total there will be 13 of us, all Western New York residents. - Mike

I am taking my oldest GD to WDW in Dec 04. We will be there 12/04 -12/11. We are staying at VWL. I have aready made PS for the Hoop Dee Doo review. I have purchased Guest of Honor Badges and Magical Moment pins for the both of us. I started planning about 6 months ago. I have been working on an itinerary for about a month and am on about my 4th changes in schedules. We have not told her as of yet because she would be driving everyone crazy with her anticipation. It is bad enough that I am driving my DDIL crazy with questions regarding my itinerary. I am just so excited about this trip. I am going to make PS for her to do The Grand Adventures In Cooking at the GF. We are going to take in a day of shopping at DTD Market Place. Of course we will be doing MVMCP. Can't wait to see all the Christmas decorations at the parks and the special shows they have during the Christmas season.
