Now I know I read your April TR and I've read other stuff you've mentioned about your previous trips, but, I'm old and I forget 
Will this be your first time eating dinner at BOG?
DD? Starbucks? My God a Mobil station? LOL where would one stop if one was driving through and had to pee?
I was playing around with ours for Nov. today and changed our Thanksgiving ones. We had a Sanaa lunch and Cape May Café dinner, as we're not sure which meal we want that day. Changed to a Wave lunch and Capt. Grille dinner after DH saw their Thanksgiving menus from last year. They do look good, hopefully they're the same this year-I'm excited!! We'll drop one eventually when the 2015 menus come out. 
They don't even give you a confirmation number over the phone, I'm supposed to just give me last name at the podium.
I totally understand this as I would be the same but I also find it humorous because I wouldn't think twice about this method of dinner reservations anywhere else but WDW.OMG OMG OMG!!! I just checked on MDE again for giggles...
...AND I JUST BOOKED T-REX FOR 12/7 AT 6:00PM!
It was there! I don't know how, but it was there! So I snatched it up, and called back to cancel the one I had just made over the phone!

I'm telling you, if I hadn't been so OCD about this, and been online at 6:00am exactly 180 days out, there's absolutely no way I would have done as well as I did. I think if I'd waited even an hour, I would have missed out on some things. Planning far out, when you can, I've found really does make a huge difference. BUT! The important thing to remember is you're going to have an AMAZING time, no matter what ADRs you get or don't get! Because you're at DISNEY!
I've actually tried twice since yesterday to move that 8:10pm Ohana booking back to 8:00pm. Because I'm ridiculous.

Ironically, it's the first official day of my Staycation (Monday), and I'm in the office right now, after hours.
When I was here yesterday, I accidentally left something on my desk, so I dipped back in to get it a little while ago, then I was like "Wellll... since I'm here... May as well update my spreadsheets with that new T-Rex ADR... and maybe do replies and update my PTR..." So. Here I am. Thanks!!! I'm so stoked!
Billie luck has been STRONG on this trip so far, first with the park hours and now with the ADRs!

Nope! I did it in September 2014 for dinner, and then in April 2015 for lunch. Honestly, I would be happy to skip it this upcoming trip, but my Aunt has specifically asked for it and is super jazzed about it, so... Back to BOG we are going!WooHoo for getting everything you wanted!!

There was nothing open with a drive-thru and located between my apartment and my work that was open for me to grab coffee at.lso I have to say this, and I say this with love and a wee bit of sarcasm: if you cannot find anywhere open for coffee at 5:15 in the morning...you MUST live......um, kinda far out there
Had I been willing to stop at a gas station, or drive a longer way to get to work thus passing both Dunkin Donuts and the 24-hour McDonalds, I could have had my coffee. I was just worried either one of those options would have put me behind schedule, so I opted to do without! I've never been to Captain's Grille, but it's on my bucket list. The regular menu looks great, I can only imagine that the Thanksgiving one much be pretty awesome! Yum!OK back on ADR's

I think it's because Disney's reservation system doesn't get access to ALL of their tables and available times, probably half of them. T-Rex/Landry's maintains control of the other half, I assume?So happy you got everything you wanted, Billie! I was so surprised that T-Rex was the only one you had trouble with. Wonder why?

Normally, yes. But when you throw some seafood in with them (typically shrimp, but they're also wonderful with fried catfish), they become a breakfast or dinner meal.
"Shrimp & Grits" is actually a traditional meal in the Lowcountry region of South Carolina and some other southern states. So far so good!
YES! I had a reservation for our lunch yesterday, and thought nothing of it. But at Disney? EVERYTHING MUST BE PERFECT, CONFIRMED, AND VERIFIED.

But I HOPE not! Because everything seems pretty much perfect now!I haven't! Out of our eight ADRs, four of them are ones that I've been to on recent trips, two are ones I haven't visited in 10+ years, and two are brand new to me... The two new ones are Akershus and T-Rex. So excited!
Yasssss! I read up on it a while back, and if I recall, the birthday $25 hits your card on the 1st day of your birth month. So even though my birthday is December 3rd, the $25 should hit my card on Dec. 1st. The reason I bring this up is that my uncle's birthday happens to be Dec. 26th. So if I can get him to sign up too, then between the 2 of us, we should have $100 to put towards dinner! Before I bring it up to him though, I want to look into it a bit more and make sure that I'm understanding it correctly.
