It's May 11 and it is snowing

Our school district, at least the mountain schools for now, is on a snow delay for tomorrow.

My front yard is completely covered - thank goodness I was too lazy to plant my flowers over the weekend.

I know. Can you believe this?? If I have to shovel in the morning I will be very grumpy. It's just now starting to stick to the grass. I love Colorado, but this is ridiculous!!

I sympathize about the shovelling. Snow = Shovelling =

However, I cannot in my life remember a time school ever closed down for snow. Not when we got it in May, not when it was two feet in Jan. >_< I always thought snow days were a myth until I started talking to people from warmer areas.

We are up in Boulder County. It has been sticking here for a couple of hours now. DH just set his alarm for 3am to check on the trees to see if we have to clear branches.

My kids start swim team on Monday. That is going to be one cold pool if this weather pattern continues
