I can tell its late as I'm asking silly questions.

I'm just curious....
Say a group of members want to stay at a BWV GV for six months (AN ULTIMATE WOOYOO) but don't have enough points individually to make this happen. Are the members able to pool their individual contracts into one stay?

And with that...I'm going to bed

I just finished a late shift, so why not answer while I'm here?

As I understand it, there are two ways to do it. Everyone could transfer their points to one person, who could then book the entire thing. However, each set of points would retain its original use year and resort and would have to follow the set rules for those. (For instance, you couldn't combine different contract points to book a single night.) I know there are limits on how many points you can own, bank and borrow at a time, but I'm not sure if there are limits on what could be transferred and held in one particular account at one time.

Alternatively, each member could book as many nights as their points would allow, then ask MS to link all the various reservations together, requesting that they stay in the same unit. I don't think that is guaranteed, so there would be the chance that they would have to move at some of the reservation switch points.

Once points aer in your account, it's a "free for all" as long as you are in the booking window. I have contracts at 2 resorts and have used both points to make one night ressie. I was told by MS you can transfer in all you want, the limit is strictly on "your ownership" not current account total.

You could also have each member make a few days ressie as suggested and link them but than I believe you would need new keys each "stay" since they need to check-in the new member.

Hope this helps
Sandy
