It's kind of fun to do the impossible - Disney with a 1 month old *new 2/13/15*

Wow Phil, Olivia's makeover came out fantastic. Well done. princess:

If I was staying there I honestly think I would walk, at least to start the day, lol. Just being able to would be too much to pass up.

Oh yes, I have certainly heard about Alex. Sadly, I've still never seen him (at least that I can recall).

Awwww, way too precious with the Main Street photos Phil. And incidentally, I look a heck of a lot like Emma at the end of the night. :cutie:

Yeah I guess to a child, having princesses in the castle is just way too obvious. Food though...

Yay, nice to see Aurora back in the old new dress. So much better.

Ooh I like that poster. Very nice!

What a great idea to do the makeover on Oliva! It looked great, and sparkles are a must when in Disney pixiedust:

Okay surprising her with CRT that is just awesome! And her reaction was priceless, but I can why she would need the clarification I mean who really would think there is a restaurant inside the castle (without being told)

The photopass pictures are great and I agree the CM in the background is awesome:)

Lots of fabulously adorable photos!

Sounds like a great morning, all around :thumbsup2

Gotta love that Bippity Boppity Bodega! :rotfl2: (and the view from the glitter area)

Wow, good thing you stayed at the Contemporary. Walking over to the MK when the monorail is not open is such a bonus. ::yes::

That’s impressive that you recognized a Photopass photographer! Glad you had a great photo session with him! Love those empty Main Street pictures. :thumbsup2

We’ve also never done Cinderella’s Royal Table, but that’s a good point about doing it before the kids turn 3. Will have to keep that in mind…

Looks like a good breakfast and good princess interactions. Sounds like Judi got her money’s worth out of the meal! :rotfl: That Caramel Apple French Toast sounds tasty.

Looking forward to the rest of the princess-palooza! :goodvibes

Olivia is one of the most beautiful princesses I have ever seen. Who needs the BBB? You guys did a great job transforming her.

Sounds like breakfast was a success. We've never eaten in the castle...the boys never wanted to eat with princesses, but I would like to do it one time. The food looks pretty good. And the pictures of Olivia and Peter with the princesses are absolutely priceless.

Isn't it so great when kids just don't even know things exist and you can get away with not spending a ton of money?! The Bippidi Boppidi Bodega makeover was fantastic!

I love all of the photos on Main Street. I will have to stay on the lookout for Alex, he seems awesome! The family picture came out great, Peter's bellybutton and all!

Awww, Olivia's reaction to eating in the Castle is just precious. I'm glad to read that y'all had a good experience with breakfast there. That stuffed French toast looks AMAZING! It's making my stomach growl. :rotfl: Even better than you can get it as a substitution for breakfast meats. That's a great tip!

So glad that breakfast was such a success. I can't wait to see how the rest of the day went!

I just found your TR a few weeks ago, and then before I could start on the TR I had to read the PTR, (I'm a stickler for order that way :lmao:)!

Anyway, I am all caught up now. I am really enjoying reading about your family adventures! I am impressed you took a 1 month old, but I would imagine in some ways that is easier then when they get older!:rotfl2: we recently found out #2 is on the way for us and we are looking at all possibilities for our next trip. I have to say they idea of taking an infant seems much more manageable after reading about other experiences with it!

All three of your kiddos are absolutely adorable! I am hoping my DD never realizes what the BBB is either. I would much rather give her a make over in our room and save the$$$ for other things!

Anyway, I can't remember all the things I was going to comment on, but I am following along now!

I am all for Bippity Boppity Bodega! I am the queen of frugalness!!! I have a feeling our next trip to Disney will be more on the frugal side. Glad we splurged on the kids first visit though. Honestly though I do not think the boutique could have done a better job :thumbsup2 She looks amazing!!!

What a great morning! So that is what life is like with a little girl! How fun!!!

Oh yeah, love the Bibbity Bobbity Bodega! Same result, a lot less expense and hassle. Olivia's makeover looks fantastic!
Love all the Main st. Photos! Alex the pp photog sounds awesome, I'll have to be on the lookout for him.
Breakfast in the castle! Sounds like it all went very well! The food sounds really yummy too. Great pics with all the princesses!

What a magical morning!!! I love the DIY princess idea. Mickey gets enough of our money already, right?! I have only been inside the MK before rope drop once and it was an amazing experience (ok, some people may say that about seeing the Great Wall of China, but for me, I was totally "geeking out" as you put it ;) )

What a great morning/breakfast/photographer/start to the day!

Thank you! Definitely a good start ... love having the empty Main St. In the past we have done Crystal Palace for pre-park opening ADRs but was fun to eat in the castle and was very happy with all the food

Great PP pics, Alex sounds great!

I'm glad breakfast went well and that Olivia was so pleased!

Thank you Alexis! Alex was really fun. He did a great job with the kids too and I loved that he took some candid shots while we were getting the kids set up, etc.

Olivia was in great spirits - I mean, can you blame her? :rotfl:

Thanks Rob ... happy to give you a makeover if you want if we are ever visiting at the same time ;)

It was great to have the option of walking - it really was so close!

If you ever see Alex definitely try to get him to take some photos - I bet you guys would have fun together!

We were very happy with how all the pictures came out and that we got a variety of shots - almost felt like a true mini-photo session!

That is true ... I mean, where else would Cinderella be? But to be able to eat in the Castle?!?!? Now that is unexpected!

Agree with you about the new Aurora dress! And I thought the poster was a nice touch!

I love the pictures of the kids...I will have to look for that Photopass Photographer when I am there.

Hi!! I'm *LOVING* your trip report!!!! We just went in September and had a most magical time!! I don't know if anyone has asked this before (as I'm just reading your posts through your shortcut links you provide), but how on earth did you have the energy to do this trip????!!! We have a 4 year old and we were both exhausted with the late nights and early breakfast ADRs and all of the hustle and bustle in between during the day!!!!! I can't even imagine doing it with a newborn also, who wakes all during the night!! What did you all do to make the trip manageable with two little ones and a newborn? How did you go all day starting with early breakfasts and still have enough energy to go all day and view the night shows and fireworks? Did y'all take breaks midday to go nap? We were always able to start out bright and early, but come 7 or 8pm we were all smoked from the day!! We didn't take breaks and just pushed all day. Just curious as to how y'all were able to manage with your little ones and just being plain exhausted from just having a baby!!!! Can't wait to read more installments in your trip report!!!! Your pics & gifs are great!!

:thumbsup2

Thanks - we did that for the first time during our trip last October and seemed to work out well as she enjoyed getting "made over" but significantly cheaper than the real BBB

In some ways I expected more squealing and excitment from Olivia when we told here where we were eating, but I think she was still processing everything

Thanks! I love when candid moments like that get captured :goodvibes

Lots of fabulously adorable photos!

Sounds like a great morning, all around :thumbsup2

Thank you - really happy with all the pictures we got. I mean, I only posted a fraction of the ones he took - there are a lot of ones where the posing is not quite as set :lmao:

Definitely a good start to the day :thumbsup2

Yes, this Bippity Boppity Bodega location did have a better view than even the actual Bippity Boppity Boutique!

Definitely helped being at the Contemporary that morning and being able to walk. I think for the other hotels they may have offered buses - or at least there were the boats, but we would have had to fold up the stroller, etc. - so being able to walk over was great! :goodvibes

We’ve also never done Cinderella’s Royal Table, but that’s a good point about doing it before the kids turn 3. Will have to keep that in mind…

Definitely keep that in mind for a future trip before Izzy turns 3. Can't speak for lunch or dinner there but we really enjoyed breakfast and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Judi definitely got her money's worth! Character interraction was quite good. I mean, they are always going to move a bit quicker at meals vs formal meet & greet locations but we definitely didn't feel rushed at all.

Thank you Kathy! She loves getting dolled up and getting her "Ballet Bun" in her hair.

Eating in the castle was fun and can at least recommend the breakfast food. Not sure if this helps but all the boys do get swords instead of wishing wands ... not that boys really need more swords :rotfl:

Isn't it so great when kids just don't even know things exist and you can get away with not spending a ton of money?! The Bippidi Boppidi Bodega makeover was fantastic!

I love all of the photos on Main Street. I will have to stay on the lookout for Alex, he seems awesome! The family picture came out great, Peter's bellybutton and all!

We've done our best to keep things away from Olivia but she is starting to take more notice of commercials and will occasionally come up and mention to me that something is being offered and right now get an extra one free, etc. Generally I then ask how much money she has and that generally ends the conversation :rotfl2:

Thank you! Very happy with the Main St. pictures ... and hey, Peter's got to show off the abs if he is going to be meeting all these princesses :lmao:

Awww, Olivia's reaction to eating in the Castle is just precious. I'm glad to read that y'all had a good experience with breakfast there. That stuffed French toast looks AMAZING! So glad that breakfast was such a success. I can't wait to see how the rest of the day went!

We definitely had a great time - and I was a bit nervous having read some not so great reviews. They seemed willing to make substitutions fairly readily which was great!

:welcome: Thanks for joining! Happy to share any other thoughts or answer any questions you have.

Going with an infant does take a bit more planning but once there they generally are the easiest to handle! And a lot of the characters enjoyed interracting with Emma which was fun too.

Congrats on #2!!!! :goodvibes

All three of your kiddos are absolutely adorable! I am hoping my DD never realizes what the BBB is either. I would much rather give her a make over in our room and save the$$$ for other things!

Definitely as much as you can keep from them the better! That's not to say we will never take Olivia to the real BBB, but I want that to be something special and kind of a "once in a lifetime" thing rather than the expectation

Feel free to add in any other comments as you go!

What a great morning! So that is what life is like with a little girl! How fun!!!

Thank you Kathy! I definitely am of the mind to find areas where you can save some money and then splurge when you want in select areas ... I'd much rather spend extra on a great meal and save money on a make over. And the more you go to Disney the more you realize what you really like and value and want to spend money on and then where you can save a bit!

It is fun at times having a girl .... but I didn't get captured by pirates like you did on your trip ;)

Thank you! Another benefit is we will use the same stuff to make her up for Halloween and other things when we are not at Disney.

Definitely be on the look out for Alex! Just a lot of fun and got a lot of great shots.

Very happy with breakfast! Can't speak for the other meals but we were all quite happy with the Castle breakfast food.

Thanks Elena ... yeah, pretty sure Disney will be ok without extra money from me for BBB :rotfl:

Being on Main St. in the middle of crowds watching Wishes and stuff is great too ... but just something about it feeling almost like it is your private place in the early mornings is just so special. Plus I think that helped have more time with the PP Photographer, etc. as well.

I love the pictures of the kids...I will have to look for that Photopass Photographer when I am there.

Thanks Wendy ... definitely keep an eye out for Alex - was a ton of fun and he got a lot of great pictures!

:welcome: Thanks for joining and your comments :goodvibes I see in your signature you were at POR - hope you enjoyed it. That is where we first were going to stay and hope to get there some day as well.

Well, not sure how we did it :rotfl2: We definitely looked to take breaks. Arrival day was only a 1/2 day at the park and then the next day was really just the morning. The day I am on now was a full day but we did take a break in the middle of the day and I guess we just kinda plowed through things. The next day we started a little later as well.

We were only there 4 nights so that probably made it a bit more manageable. Whenever we go for longer periods we always plan a few "down" days. Plus, as I overheard someone say one trip (while we were smashed in the linke trying to get FP- for Toy Story Mania) - This is a trip to Disney World - it's not a vacation! :lmao:

Thank you Kathy! She loves getting dolled up and getting her "Ballet Bun" in her hair.

Eating in the castle was fun and can at least recommend the breakfast food. Not sure if this helps but all the boys do get swords instead of wishing wands ... not that boys really need more swords :rotfl:

Well since my boys are 26 and 28 now, I don't think they'd care. My husband would want one though.:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

You already know I am loving some Bippity Boppity Bodega!!! Any time to save some money, it makes me happy ( as well as my DH) :))))

Great shots of the kids on Main Street.. Just think, probably next time Emma will be able to stand up with Olivia and Peter, <3

Sounds like a magical morning and I would LOVE to see the inside of the castle someday.
