I have used these for years. Just bought 2 new ones online yesterday. I work in the sun and heat, and I'm bald (I prefer smooth shaven :cool1: ) so I gotta have one.
I can tell you that they REALLY work. Seriously. They are worth every penny!
I am not making anything by telling you about them. Just showing everyone something that works. Besides if your cool in the parks maybe you wont be so grumpy!!! :rotfl: They are hats that you soak in cold water for 15 minutes that stay cool for 8 hours!!! I have found that they are sometimes still cool the next day. Other times they only last 3-4 hours but cool water isnt usually too hard to find. I often soak mine for about 2-3 minutes in a bathroom sink and it works well too. Only the initial soak is supposed to be 15 minutes. They are still a great invention though.

I was wrong. You only soak them for 5 minutes, not 15. Check out the ballcaps. I have a regular ballcap in Khaki (mispelled?) and a legion hat in Khaki and one in Navy. Both have the back flap for neck protection. Here's a tip. If you get one, try not to soak the bill of the hat, only the rest of it. If you soak the bill of the hat it drips water for the first hour everytime you bend over to pick something up. Just minor annoyment.

Thanks for sharing! My DH is always complaining about being hot....even in our cold NY winters LOL

So, does the cap part not feel like you are just wearing a wet hat? If this is really comfy, I think you have just found my dad's fathers day present for me! He is a sweataholic, and ALWAYS wears a hat! :earsboy:

I'm wondering this too. THese look interesting - DH is ALWAYS hot and I can just imagine how he'll be in WDW! :sad2:
LOL

Just ordered one. Being able to use PAYPAL made the decision easier LOL. Hope it works...............and DH wants to wear it

Well, I'm bald. Shiny bald! I havent had hair in years, so I dont know how it would feel with hair, but to me it just feels cool. Like your head is air conditioned. Theres an inner "stuff" that keeps the hat from feeling "wet" but if I take mine off theres beads of water on my head, but I never notice it, and my head dont feel wet really, just cooler. I LOVE mine but I guess there may be some people out there who might not. I'd say try it. Its the thought that counts anyway. When its really hot outside (like in direct sunlight on a REALLY hot day) I take mine off periodically for a few minutes and then put it back on. In any event its still much better than sweating. Hopefully my new ones will get here before my May 1st trip.

Thanks for the info :)

I saw a neckband on that site that looks really cool. I hate hats, so maybe I'll give that a try!
