It's HOT & I NEED a nap!

We just got back 2 weeks ago and it was HOT HOT HOT and we found our normal napping places to get relief from the heat were still perfect, so where do you go to get off your feet and enjoy the AC and maybe even rest your eyes a bit?

It has happened to my husband and I before!! It's ice cold in there and it feels soooo good in the heat of the day!

I fell asleep about halfway through Ellen last trip.

Yup, me too! That is my go-to sleeping spot, but I go there to purposefully go to sleep! LOL! We wait until EVERYONE has emptied the waiting room and loaded into cars and then we break up into 2 empty rows and the 5 of us all get a good nap in! I fall asleep before the car even begins to move!

The movie in France puts my DD right to sleep. We kill a lot of time inside the Seas too. And American Adventure.

Nemo in AK because it takes SO long and you are off your feet.

Frozen Sing a long in HS is dark and cool. Cushy seats.

Kinda giggling to myself that you felt it was hot 2 weeks ago. I live in FL and I gotta say the last 2 weeks have been a breeze, literally compared to the brutally hot summer we just had.

I have only been to Disney World twice as an adult. Last month I didn't sleep on anything, but I definitely did on Carousel of Progress 6 years ago. That thing is seriously dull. LOL. Actually last trip DH was looking forward to going on it, but forgot and I did NOT remind him.

We were there for 3 weeks and at the end it cooled of a little (after the hurricane) but yeah the rest of our trio was ridiculously hot to us.

MK: Agree with Hall of Presidents...and it doesn't matter how much I really want to stay awake: with the comfy seats, air conditioning, and Morgan Freeman's voice, I find myself nodding off...

AK: Nemo show...unless you get seated in the bleacher section. Not too comfy for 40 min.

Epcot: the French movie. Which is a shame because it's a gorgeous movie! But when it's the end of the day and you're tired, and you sit in the handicapped row with your Dad and his electric scooter, which means you're up against a wall with a head rest and ample leg room...well...

Ahh yes NEMO! I fell asleep in the bleacher sections because I was at the end against a wall and just rested my head for a bit! LOL!!!

Carousel of progress is one of my favorites,the"its a great big beautiful tomorrow"song is simply retro as is the whole ride,that along with it being 50 plus years old and that Walt himself worked on the attraction makes it a special attraction.

My favorite nap was in the lobby of the Contemporary. It was very quiet compared to MK. We took the Momorail over, ate at the quick service place where we didn't have to fight for a table, used the restrooms with no lines, and found the comfy chairs for a nice rest. It was a very relaxing break!

Funnily enough it's my son's favorite place for a nap too! We had a late dinner at California Grill after a long and rainy day in the parks and as we waited for the valet to bring our car around, he was out like a light in front of the coffee shop

Ellen's is one of my favorite nap spots! I love the ride itself too but sometimes it's nice to ride and sleep!
