The yard sale was a success. We made about $500 dollars. Woo hoo!
My oldest turns 13 tomorrow and she had a birthday party in the middle of the weekend on top of the yard sale. I am pooped.
Off to my classroom to do lesson plans for next week.
How many more days???????????
Kelly, you are looking more and more like SuperWoman to me!! Let's see now...let me count...there's oh, like, I want to say...boy, this is a hard one...only
3 more days to go!!!!!
We're in the midst of getting ready for our Kindergarten "Day on the Farm" plays. Our class is doing their own version of "Click, Clack, Moo...Cows that Type". They really have done a great job...it's their words for the play, their costumes, their invitations...I hope they just shine like the superstars they are on Wednesday when we perform it for the rest of the school and the parents!!
Boo took her first Communion and just looked beautiful. I cried, of course, once I realized how grown up she's getting. Add the white dress she wore and I couldn't help but think that one day she'd be walking down that same aisle to get married...
We didn't have a full-fledged party for her...we have the trip coming up and it would've been just too much for me to get ready for. I told her that we were having a party, just a week later...and the guest list would include Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy, among others. She just gave me a look...her birthday is the Friday after we get back, so there's only so much celebrating a mom can provide before the celebrating becomes celehating.
I only can think of one more thing to get before Friday...digital camera batteries. I was so upset...I bought a Radio Shack 15 minute charger last year that has special batteries (Radio Shack 15 minute chargeable only, of course) and thought I would go get new ones to have for this trip...threw out the old ones...and when I got to Radio Shack yesterday, the guy tells me that they aren't so easy to come by anymore and then tried to sell me this $30 charger that would charge another kind of battery in 2 hours...uh, I don't need another charger, sir...I WANT MY BATTERIES!!!

That poor man didn't know he was dealing with an over-stressed, over-packed, over-waiting-any-more-time-til-time-to-get-in-that-car-to-go-to-the-airport, DIS-addicted, WDW lunatic...I gave him my thoughts about how crappy it is to sell a charger that only charges a certain kind of batteries and then not have the batteries for it to charge.

I've decided that I will try to get to BJs and stock up on AA batteries made for electronic devices so I can lug them around at all times.
Packing is almost done, really...just those last-minute, have-to-use-that-day items and our overnight/carryon bag so we can survive without our luggage until they "magically"

appear in our room from the ME service.
I have to print out some updates for our Yellow Folders, double check that we have all our ids, etc. and then we'll be all ready. Will Friday ever get here?! It's really coming quickly, in fact...makes me worried that the time warp will move even faster once we check into the WL. I'm already in "can't sleep because I have a million and one Disney thoughts running through my head" mode...and at any random moment I can be heard babbling about ADRs, FPs, EMHs, TGM, MGM, MK, EPCOT, AK, ME, ETAs, and etc. My poor Kindergarteners are
really going to be confused about the alphabet!!
