Jet lag must be bad that title should read its good and bad :s
Well we arrived back home yesterday after two wonderful weeks at WDW.

So let's start with the bad first

Problems at check in for both ME and at OKW they had us at Saratoga springs. Long story short if you did not see my earlier thread it was all sorted out in the end. Not that Saratoga is not but if we had wanted to stay there we would have booked there.

Sci if, Cali grill and tangerine cafe have all gone downhill. Sci if the burgers are no longer the lovely thick juicy ones you used to get. Cali grill I've no idea what the chef was thinking with the flavour combinations but seriously strong cheese with teriyaki beef was not good. Tangerine cafe they chicken was greasy and it was horrible and we both felt ill after that. Those use to be big favourites of ours but they have been kicked off the list now.

Noisy neighbours above us at OKW we did complain but it was pointless. We left it a couple of days in the hope that they would check out but it just got a bit much. Put it this way please if you are on a upper floor don't drag chairs tables etc over the floor, thump around like a herd of elephants or allow your child to scream continually and slam the door to the balcony not stop for 20mins. If we go back we will request an upper floor room.

Right now for good.

Getting that sneak peak of the new fantasyland, it is just awesome and I can't wait to see it all finally finished. Little mermaid ride was wonderful.

CMs were all great and could not have been more helpful. From the font desk manager at OKW to our sever at Artist Point who gave us a couple of mickey straws.

OKW despite the noisy neighbours it really is a wonderful place and our room in building 64 could not have been in a better location.

Food apart from the ones singled out above was all great. Highlights were Wave, Kona, Artist Point, Tokyo Dinning, Teppan Edo to name a few.

Our day trip to KSC, we did the ultimate pass with lunch with an astronaut and the up close tour where we were lucky to get inside the vehicle assembly building. Just the best fun and we learned so much. Our inner geeks were very happy and I think I have photos of all angles both in and out of the vehicle assembly building. Bus driver was great though he went on a bit on the way there, he put on a DVD on the way back so most people fell asleep. We were picked up and dropped off at DTD outside the cirque building. Booked through Florida tix which use floria dolphin tours.

The tequila lunch we did was awesome, food excellent and Hilda the tequila ambassador ( yes we all wanted that job) gave us loads of great information. Who knew there was so much to learn about tequila. Not sure why but there was a whole table of 8 that did not show up so lets just say a few of us made the most of that with thanks to our server and the manager. Made a couple of new friends as well that we spent the rest of the afternoon with.

Food and Wine was great we also did the chocolate tasting which was Valrhona chocolate company and it was good again ls of info on the different chocolate samples and they introduced us to a lovely new wine.

Flights with Aer lingus which even though both of the long haul legs left late we still arrived early. staff great and helpful as always. Pre clearance at Dublin busier than we have seen but still a massive bonus for making arrival at MCO that much faster and easier.

Park Bus service to and from OKW was great no real issues that were not of our own making. I.e we just did not give ourselves enough time on a couple of occasions. Never late to any ADRs but we did cut it fine.

I'm sure there are lots of other highs but my jet lag is making me a little confused. :s

Overall we had a wonderful time and we are already thinking of booking to go back next year.

Any questions feel free to ask.

overall that sounds like you had a great holiday.:thumbsup2

Jet lag takes me a good week to get over, except this year where it took me nearly two:confused3
