It's Going To Be A Jolly Olly Holiday In Disney PTR I've got one foot out the door!!

Pumpkin picking is so much fun

Very handsome boys

The baby is adorable:goodvibes

We had a great time...something we have made a tradition!

Thank you!

I love my lil Kaydenbug! He's my fix for not having anymore of my own!

Aww the Pumpkin Patch update and pictures were great! My favorite is the one toward the end of Poot sitting on the pumpkins, with you standing over him. LOVE it!!!

Thanks! We had a lot of fun! I love that one too! Thanks!

I thought I would hear from you about the "orange pumpkin"!! LOL

Thanks, I am hoping it gets better and all works out in the end.

LOL You are better than me!! When I look at the bills, I think "why can't you just go away...don't you know I'd rather spend my money on Disney!!"

LOL I'm sick aren't I? I actually enjoy getting my bills paid. I really should get my degree in accounting.

Great update on the pumpkin picking! We do that every year too but are nixing it this year because last year the prices on the pumpkins were outrageous. I don't want to pay that again. Especially since I really don't have the time to carve one the way I would want to do it. I love the pictures you got at the end of the boys. So so cute! :goodvibes Thanks for sharing with us.

I don't tease my friends :p

I did get a good laugh though!

LOL I would tease me! It was a pretty funny moment! It's all in good fun!

You should! I like knowing that they are paid...just wish it was with someone else's checking account! LOL

Hmmmm...I am thinking that maybe if we didn't have kids we would not be doing this?? I think I would get a pumpkin, but from the grocery store or something like that. It would be easier! Plus, we wouldn't need as many seeds...less people to share them with!

Love the pictures, simply adorable!

Thanks! Sometimes these three wildboys really do settle down long enough to take a nice picture or two! ;)

Wish I would get my ticker back!!! I don't like not seeing how many days I have left! At least when I get it back, it will have gone down quite a bit!! I thought about doing a new one, but don't want to have to see it go all the way back to the beginning!! :scared1:

Nah im not gonna make a PTR. This is my first time going so im just reading up on everybodys! But you guys have inspired me to make one on my next trip!

Those pumpkin photos are just too cute! Looks like you all had lots of fun  What camera do you have because the quality on those photos is great :thumbsup2

LOL I hear you on that one!

I think that's one of the biggest reasons why we don't get pumpkins anymore. We did for a few years after we got married because it was a tradition with Chris' family but that's died down now. I think once we have a child that will change. I'm sure it's a nice memory to all share together when you guys do it. :goodvibes

I agree with you on the countdown ticker thing. I was sad to see mine go all the way back to the beginning again. Hope Mickey Path gets them working again.

Oooooooo with the DSLR I presume? Heck, I don't know why I am asking, I know the answer and you can definitely tell. Beautiful pictures, and what a beautiful baby!!! I really love the one of him standing with the pumpkin, and the one of Poot, when you're looking down on him and he's surrounded by the pumpkins!! I think you lie, I think you are a closeted professional photo taker, not photographer, photo taker. LOL :rotfl: I'm just in one of those moods.

BOO Mickeyspath - BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Ohhhh! OK...well as long as you do it next trip! You are doing a TR when you get back though, right?? Make sure you let us all know, because we will join in! (Listen to me speaking for everyone!!)

Thanks! We did have a good time! :thumbsup2 The camera is a Canon Rebel XTi. I LOVE it! It is almost as close to me as my kids and probably a bit closer to me than my DH!!! LOL

They better get them back up! It feels like I am not really going now! I am giving it until Friday and then I am getting a new one. I will just have to deal with it being at the beginning! :sad2: On the bright side, if I do have to start over, my slider wil move much faster since it won't have as long to get to the end!;)

Yep....I love that baby! Nope...I swear no pro here. I just get lots of practice with the kids! Thanks for the compliments! The younger ones haven't learned to get annoyed that I always have them posing yet!!

BOO Mickeyspath - BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

I know!!!!! I am sooooo jealous of all you guys now!

OK...I am on a roll now! I want to be able to get all of this posted before things really get hectic the last few weeks before vacation!

So, day 4...but only the third park day...here goes!

Today is Holloywood Studios! I find it so hard not calling it MGM...anyone else? There is a morning EMH here today. The goal is to make it to that!!! I am really going to give it the old college try! We are doing the evening EMH at Epcot the night before, but we don't have to stay too late. So, the plan is to be there to get in the park at the 8:00 opening! We will stay until about 10:00. Then, we have breakfast booked for 1900 Park Fare. I am looking forward to this one, as we have never eaten here. We had the dinner there and actually did not like it really at all. But, we figured that breakfast was a bit hard to mess up. After looking into the characters that appeared there, we decided it was a go. The boys are looking forward to seeing the Mad Hatter. We have never seen him outside of the parade. I am excited for Alice! Again, we have never seen her outside of the parade.

After breakfast, we wil explore the Grand Floridian a bit to get a picture of the gingerbread house and some of their decorations. I would also like to take a walk outside and get some photos there. You can take the boat to MK from GF, right? If so, I'd like to do that. We are not going to MK, but will go back over there to get a bus back to POR. We will take a small resort break. (Only about an hour or so.)

After a short rest, we will head back to HS to finish out the day. I would like to stay until park closing at 8. But, a few things are making me think I will not be able to. Our California Grill reservation is 9 this night. I am thinking I will want to go back to POR to change before the dinner. I know a lot of people are saying that you don't have to get too dressed for Cali Grill. But, I am a stay at home mom! I like to get dressed up every now and then! I am not going to wear a sequin ball gown, but maybe dressy capris and nice shirt and heels?? I am thinking I may be uncomfortable walking around HS with the heels??!! LOL So, we may leave at like 7ish?? We shall see what the mood is like.

Anyway, no matter what I am wearing, we will be at Cali Grill at 9 for dinner. There is no MVMCP this night because it is the parade taping. I have to check the schedule to see when the fireworks are to see if we can watch them while we eat or not. I don't know. I am hoping to get some decent night shots from the observation deck here. We shall see! I know from the last time we were in Disney during Christmas, there was a gorgeous tree outside the Contemporary that we should be able to see from that deck. It was all lit up at night and surrounded by other small ones. That is a photo I am aiming to get and have it turn out this time! LOL If there is enough time after dinner, we may look around the resort a bit. If not, we will be back for Chef Mickey's. So, we will have another chance.

So, that's it for the third park day! It seems like an empty day. But, we are doing two meals, going to HS in the am and afternoon, having some rest time and exploring two monorail resorts. I think there is enough and not too much! Let me know what you guys think please!

Those pictures in th epumpkin patch are simply awesome!!! Loving them soooo much!

And I'm with you about getting dressed up for Cali Grill. Sometimes, just sometimes you want to get dressed up. I wear nice clothes for work all the time. But I'm getting dressed for work, not for me, as I will for the Cali Grill reservation

Sometimes "empty" days are so necessary. :thumbsup2 We are only going to be there for 6 nights, so I had to resist my urges to cram as much into every day possible, and make one day in the middle where we don't have anywhere to be until 5pm. A day to just sleep until we want to wake up, then lounge around the resort and enjoy our surroundings. :goodvibes

I think your plans look great

I can't wait to see the decorations at Grand Floridian

What did you not like about the dinner at 1900 Park Fare? Food? Characters?

You know, I'm curious about this too. I've been seeing so many negative reviews about it, but I loved it when I went for dinner in 2006. And that was before they had the step-family there, back when it was just Cinderella, Prince Charming, Suzie, Perla, and with Fairy Godmother greeting outside the door. We thought the food was yummy and the character interaction was great, even though we were just two adults. Now that they've moved Suzie & Perla to CRT and added the Tremaines, I would love to do it again if I had time on this trip... I hear that they are an absolute hoot!

very nice pictures!!! I remember going to the pumpkin patch when I was little. I was always the one that searched and searched for the perfect pumpkin!

Your day sounds great to me. I thought it would be hard to break MGM until I worked at WDW and the fact that you can get "written up" from a manager or supervisor for giving false info: IE calling it MGM instead of DHS. A friend of mine had a co-cm who got written up for calling Spaceship Earth a giant golf ball over there to a guest..she was written up for that one...the joys of working at disney! At AK they actually call it DAK (d-ahhh-k) and not by Animal Kingdom..crazy I know!

My family still calls it MGM, I've had DHS smashed into my head now for quite some time!

Looks great! :thumbsup2 Sometimes the empty days are the best!! Plus there really isn't a ton of stuff to go at DHS (and YES I always want to call it MGM).

This may sound a little silly but did you ever consider getting dressed when you go back to POR for your mid day break, wearing your park shoes and sticking your dressy shoes in your park bag? I don't know what kind of bag you carry in the park, but since you are a mom I am assuming you carry everything you may need in case of every emergency imaginable. LOL you think your bag could find some room for your dressy shoes. That way you won't have to go all the way back to the resort and then back to the MK (well Contemporary but I am assuming you are taking the buses so then that would mean MK and a quick walk to the Contemporary) and you can get some extra time in the park.
