It's Going To Be A Jolly Olly Holiday In Disney PTR I've got one foot out the door!!

Great update... I know that we were able to make our ADR"s and park hours are out.. there's really not much.. I love your list idea.. I may have to 'borrow' it!!

You can borrow it for sure!!! Maybe you and I and DBF and DH can meet in the lounge at AKL one night for a drink!!?? That would be a nice relaxing thing for us all and the boys wouldn't feel so tied down to Disney!!!

Design your own chocolate covered pretzels at Goofy's Candy Co. --I made the mistake of getting the rice krispy treat last time and it was too hard to eat! I want the pretzels this time. YUM!

Funnel Cake in America because I love them! -- Me too!!

A turkey leg - because it was great the first time -- OMG every time I see someone eating one of these I gag, :rotfl2: But whatever makes you happy...

Pina Colava -- Sooooo good

Grey Goose and Grand Marnier slushes in France (yep... I want both!) I only tried the Gran Marnier one and didn't like it :confused3 I can't wait to hear what you think! I'll probably try the other oe this time

Margaritas in DTD and Mexico -- The mango one @ Mexico is my favorite!

Bellini Cocktail at Mama Melrose's -- Oooh!? What's this? Last time I was at Mama Melrose I was not old enough to have one of those! Sounds delish for this time though :thumbsup2

*Also you should try the Island Sunset at the Poly...sooo yummy. And the Poolside Lemonade is at the pool bar and is good too. Sultans Colada in Morocoo was one of our favorites in March!!

aww man, I could sure use a Grand Marnier right now!! I have a pic of my friend and I drinking one last year and the caption on FB is: Grand Marnier Orange Slush--because Samantha Brown had one..and we figured if it was good enough for her, it's good enough for us and it was haha.

:thumbsup2 The Grand Marnier Orange Slush is on my list. Samantha Brown made it sound so good.

Are you POPCORN lovers? That's always a huge deal for my fam is the POPCORN, in the collectable bucket of course! When I moved from WDW I counted them all and had well over 20 but figured I could use them in my classroom for something!

I can't wait to try one! DH will be right along with me!!!!

I LOVE popcorn and the kids like it quite a bit also. But, DH hates it and even hates the smell. I have thought about getting it from time to time though. I think the only reason I haven't is that I tend to be a sweets person and always seem to get sugar instead of salt. Maybe this time and then I can have the souvenir bucket too!

The kids will probably like the rice krispy treats too and want to do both! I'm not big on them, but the whole family LOVES chocolate covered pretzels!

It does look a bit barbaric, but it's my favorite part of the turkey and the smell throughout the park from people walking aroung with these is one I can't ignore!!!

Lapu Lapu --Love this, but it wouldn't taste as good if it wasn't in a pineapple LOL[/COLOR]

I think the pineapple is what is drawing me in!!!

Pina Colava -- Sooooo good

Looking forward to it!!!

Hmmm...hope I like it!!! If not, I'm sure DH will drink it for me!! :lmao: I'm 100% sure I'll like the GG one...I'm a GG girl!

Margaritas in DTD and Mexico -- The mango one @ Mexico is my favorite!

I like the mango also. DH gets the one where they layer all the flavors!

Bellini Cocktail at Mama Melrose's -- Oooh!? What's this? Last time I was at Mama Melrose I was not old enough to have one of those! Sounds delish for this time though :thumbsup2

OK...you have to like sparkling wine...it's sparkling wine, white peach and raspberry...mmmmm!

*Also you should try the Island Sunset at the Poly...sooo yummy. And the Poolside Lemonade is at the pool bar and is good too. Sultans Colada in Morocoo was one of our favorites in March!!

Thanks for the tip!!!!! I will be adding them to the list. Not sure if I'll get to the pool, but the Island Sunset is doable and the Sultans Colada can we a "worldly" drink!!

:thumbsup2 The Grand Marnier Orange Slush is on my list. Samantha Brown made it sound so good.

It'll be a tasty one!!!!

Your ADR's look awesome!! The DIS boards are filled with such wonderful Mommy's. And I know that when I have a family of my own I will do the same thing. I guess in a way I do, DH is waaaaaaaay too laid back to be on the up at 6 am making a dining reservation.

I too was looking for Le Cellier on 12/4. I had a very nice lady that was basically checking ANY time available. We had a second Epcot day on our schedule so we ended up with 3:55 on 12/11 (our second to last day). All of our dining seems to be at weird and varied times. DH thinks that it is a combination of free dining plus he thinks that a lot of people load up all their resi's as soon as they can make them and then start to scale back and cancel some as the trip gets closer. :confused3 I took all the random times because I just hate not knowing and kind of trying to go on a whim. Then I picture hungry and cranky me following DH all around WS looking for an open table service. I need to be fed, kind of regularly (every few hours) or else I just start to loose it!

So what are you doing these days since the hours have been released and the itinerary is made? LOL I almost don't know what to do, so I'm catching up on my DIS friends PTR!!!

I need to be fed, kind of regularly (every few hours) or else I just start to loose it!

This is so funny that you worded it like that! DBF usually asks me if it's my feeding time if i snap at him or start to get cranky. I also tell him when I'm hungry, usually by telling him get his *** out of bed or off the chair because I need to be fed. I'm with ya girl!

Sorry that me and the PP hijacked your thread!

Ummmm.....never heard that...interesting! I booked Akershus which also requires a cc guarantee and California Grill which also required cc guarantee using the online system. Both were accepted and I just had to input my cc number at the end. It said that my total charge at that time was $0.00. I'd say get up and try it online at your 90 day mark and if it doesn't work, you can call an hour later. At least the online ressies come up an hour earlier than the call-in!! Good luck...did the dates come through yet?

The dates came through :cool1:

I think CRT works differently, because it's a meal you pay for in advance...where Cali Grill and Akershus you just need to reserve with a CC incase you don't show up! I'm going to attempt the online and hopefully I can get all my other ones squared away and only have to call on CRT, if anything at all.

I agree with your DH...I think some people take ressies and then switch things around when they really set their plans. But, yeah we ended up doing Le Cellier when we in our 2nd Epcot day...that means it'll be oop because we are staying at AKV on a room discount instead of free dining. Oh well...wanted to do it no matter what, so hopefully it's all it's cracked up to be!

As far as the hunger goes...don't even get near me when I am overly hungry!

What are you a gremlin? :lmao:

Sorry to hijack your thread Erin, but I just had to jump on this one!

No worries! That was really funny! I had to read it to DH!!!!

My DH knows when it is almost to "THAT" point...I start saying things like "my stomach just ate my intestine!!!" He knows then that he better get some sort of nourishment in me!!!!

Hijack away...it was pretty amuzing and great to hear I'm not alone!

The dates came through :cool1:

Good for you!

Oh, I see. Well, once you figure it all out, post away! I know when we did it since we were on the DDP, we didn't have to pay in advance because we were using dining credits. So, that is good.

It's very possible, but then isn't there that rule about feeding after midnight, :rotfl2: I'm an old lady so I'm usually never up that late!

Sorry again for hijacking!

Yep... the rule is...no feeding after midnight!

Ok, so I have commited to let everyone in on another surprise I have for J-Pa. Well, first a bit of background. As stated in our intros, Lulu is an Irish Dancer. She does this for several reasons - she loves it and it keeps her active. but, it all started because J-Pa is so into his Irish heritage. He has several tattoos. All but one of them are Irish designs. Anyway, a few years ago (Lulu's first year dancing), we were in Disney and ate at Raglan Road in DTD. The night we were there, a girl from Ireland named Danielle was dancing on stage in the pub. it was a lot of fun for all of us to see what steps Lulu may be able to do some day. After our dinner and watching Danielle a bit, we were heading out and stopped to check out the gift shop. While in there, we started talking to the woman working there and told her how Lulu had recently started dancing. She asked us to give her a minute and she disappeared. After a few minutes, she returned with Danielle who came out to meet Lulu. It was so sweet of her to take the time to meet her and let Lulu show her the few steps she had learned.
Now, that was three years ago. Fast forward to now where Lulu has shown great improvement. I emailed the HR person for Raglan Road and told them our story in hopes that Lulu could again meet Danielle. I didn't even know if I would get a response. In fact, not only did I get a response, they said Danielle would be thrilled to meet her again.

AND......

that Lulu should bring her hard shoes and go up on stage and dance with Danielle!!! I was so excited, but wasn't sure if she'd be comfortable. So, I asked Lulu and she was equally excited. I emailed the woman back and told her that Lulu wanted to do it and she said just to let her know as the dates get closer what night we will be there! I even talked to the dance teacher and she said she would go over some steps with Lulu alone before our trip as a refresher! So, that's a help too!
Now, I know this sounds like it is more of a surprise for Lulu (even though she already knows). But, it is J-Pa's surprise because he will be so thrilled to see her up there. We both love watching her dance, but he is going to die to see her up there! So, she will just bring her shoes in a little back pack and when we get there, I'll speak to them to find out for sure what to do. I am just going to tell J-Pa that we are going over for a few drinks in the pub and to watch the dancing. (Which are both true!!!) So, good surprise???

Awww thats amazing honey!!! :goodvibes

Wonderful surprise for hubby and lulu will have a great time too :cool1:

OHHH I can not wait for pics of this!!! What night are you doing this?! Now I know your secret and I am going to have to be quiet about it over breakfast if it is after our AK day!

AWESOME surprise! I am so amazed that they would let you do something like that...everyone is complaining about how so much magic has left Disney, but it's things like this that make me thing that there is so much magic left IN Disney. Can't wait to hear all about that..better bring a camera!

Oh my gosh how awesome is that!? What an amazing surprise and an awesome experience that is going to be!!

Wow, that's a wonderful surprise for J-Pa and a magical experience for Lulu. I hope that you record the moment on video to share with us. :goodvibes

That is so freakin' cool!!!! I am so excited for you, and Lulu, and J-Pa. That is going to be so amazing, and what a special memory for all of you.

On a side note, one of my sorority sisters is an Irish dancer, and she too started when she was young. Now she teaches and completes! I love to see her all dressed up in her Irish dancer outfit, just so cool!!
