It's Going To Be A Jolly Olly Holiday In Disney PTR I've got one foot out the door!!

Joining to read more about your Christmas plans. We are going the week after you. We've never seen Disney during Christmas and I can't wait!

That is a ton of food, but I followed in your wisdom guided footsteps. At first I only had a few ADR's, the big stuff the CP dinner package, California Grill, and Chef Mickey's. Then the more I thought about it, the more I was realizing how silly it was to not take advantage of something that was FREE!! So this past weekend I went back into online ADR's and I made enough to cover all our table service credits. There are so many great places to eat and I have no idea when we will be back. So needless to say we will be rolling out of Disney!! :rotfl:

I'll update you on the new additions in my PTR. I'm very excited now!! Not sure if it is all the eating we'll be doing or just Disney itself, well...maybe both!!!

Just looking at your ADR list is making me hungry!!! You've got ADRs at a lot of places I would love to try!

OK so I can't find my pictures of the dessert at Ohana!! I was probably so excited that it came to the table to take any photos hahaha

Your ADR's look great. Doesn't it feel good to have them?

It feels awesome to have them! Makes it seem so much closer!

Hi! Thanks for coming over! Are you doing a PTR? We were there in 2006 over Christmas and it is gorgeous! Can't wait to get back!!

I agree...don't waste something that's free! I'm sure I will not be able to finish each meal, but a sampling all over will be fab!!!

I know...I have to stop looking at all the restaurants and menus...it's killing the diet! LOL At least you get to go in a few days and experience it soon!

OK so I can't find my pictures of the dessert at Ohana!! I was probably so excited that it came to the table to take any photos hahaha

Awww! That's ok...I'll be seeing it in real life before we know it! I will absolutely enjoy it, I'm sure! Maybe I'll be able to hold back the excitement long enough to get a photo...just don't count on it!

I just realized how behind I was on your PTR!! Your ADR's sound great- I can't wait to read your TR when you get back. :goodvibes California Grill is my FAVORITE.

See, now I wanted to try out the online system...but I want to make sure we get Cinderella's Royal Table. Now I've heard that when you schedule that one online it sometimes has problems accepting the dining plan and then you have to pay for the whole meal! What's a girl to do :confused3

Ummmm.....never heard that...interesting! I booked Akershus which also requires a cc guarantee and California Grill which also required cc guarantee using the online system. Both were accepted and I just had to input my cc number at the end. It said that my total charge at that time was $0.00. I'd say get up and try it online at your 90 day mark and if it doesn't work, you can call an hour later. At least the online ressies come up an hour earlier than the call-in!! Good luck...did the dates come through yet?

Hello everyone...

Now that all of the excitement of December hours coming out and booking ADR's is over, it is back to misc. planning!

This installment consists of a list of things I want to be sure to get while I am in Disney. I have broken them into three categories: Food, Drinks and Souvenirs. As far as food, all bets are off when in Disney...no diets here! HaHa (And with all the walking, it should be ok!) With the drinks, gotta love the Disney transportation! We can enjoy a few drinks and not have to get behind the wheel ever - yay! The souvenirs are actually things we always get use out of.

Anyway, here are the lists:

Food: (Meals first...if there is nothing listed for a meal that we are going to, it means I am undecided or it's a buffet)

1. Chicken Alfredo (Puck)
2. Pork (Cali Grill)
3. Fried Chicken (50's)
4. Gorgonzola Steak (Mama)
5. Chicken Quesadillas (T-Rex)
6. Shrimp & Beef meal (Yak & Yeti)
7. Filet (Le Cellier)

(Snacks next)

1. Cookies at Writer's Stop in DHS
2. Design your own chocolate covered pretzels at Goofy's Candy Co.
3. Gooey Goodies at Main St. Confectionary
4. A churro from Mexico
5. Ice Cream everywhere!!!!
6. Funnel Cake in America because I love them!
7. Candied almonds in Epcot
8. A turkey leg - because it was great the first time
9. A white chocolate slipper for Lulu when we eat at 1900 Park Fare

Drinks:

1. Lapu Lapu
2. Pina Colava
3. Grey Goose and Grand Marnier slushes in France (yep... I want both!)
4. Margaritas in DTD and Mexico
5. Bellini Cocktail at Mama Melrose's
6. Several from the collection of drinks offered at AKL and Kidani
7. Lost on the Safari drink at Dawa bar in AK

Souvenirs:

1. Basin soaps - love them!
2. Wine from Germany and maybe Italy
3. Ornaments - at least one Disney one and several from Germany
4. Scrapbook stuff
5. Pick a pearl - maybe one for my mom for Christmas too
6. Dishes / bowls from Japan (we always add to our collection in our kitchen every trip)
7. Couple of picture frames - I have sooooo many, but I'll want to display some pix from this trip, too

So, that's what I have come up with so far. If anyone can think of any other food or drink itmes that may be interesting to us, feel free to suggest away!

Up next: I will deliver the next J-Pa surprise!!!!

Great update... I know that we were able to make our ADR"s and park hours are out.. there's really not much.. I love your list idea.. I may have to 'borrow' it!!

aww man, I could sure use a Grand Marnier right now!! I have a pic of my friend and I drinking one last year and the caption on FB is: Grand Marnier Orange Slush--because Samantha Brown had one..and we figured if it was good enough for her, it's good enough for us and it was haha.

Are you POPCORN lovers? That's always a huge deal for my fam is the POPCORN, in the collectable bucket of course! When I moved from WDW I counted them all and had well over 20 but figured I could use them in my classroom for something!
