Fry pork chops in butter, with salt, pepper and garlic powder. When they are done put in (I use a large cake pan) with crushed tomatoes, (cover pork chops completely with the crushed tomatoes). Top with shredded Mozzarella cheese and bake until the cheese is melted.

While that is in the oven I boil wide flat noodles, until they are done, strain, but don't rinse. Serve pork chop(s) over top the noodles.

Thanks Pooh, I think I'll try that soon.

It went from 52 degrees and pouring rain to the "teens" and snow. Beef stew is on the stove. DS 18 doesn't like beef stew. Oh good, yet another unplanned punishment. ;)

Home made potato/cheese soup ( I even diced the potatoes!!) It is finally gettin a little chilly here today since we have been in the upper 70's for a couple of weeks now. When I make it for the teachers at school they say it is tons better than Outbacks'!!
Would you mind sharing your recipe? :teeth:

I have hamburger thawing out, but I'm still undecided what I'm making for dinner.

DS and DN are up visiting and we decided to just do some finger yummy foods. We have TGIFridays, cheese sticks and potato skins, french fries and chicken fingers. Besides that....there are leftovers from Bertuccis from lastnight. Then of course.....warm Toll House cookies for desert.

Hot Roast Beef Sandwiche's here on a cold snowy day! :goodvibes

Probably pizza

Made a big pot of vegetable soup and will probably have hot dogs.

We eat early on Sundays, so dinner is already over. We had linguine with white littleneck clam sauce, a big salad, chianti, and some crusty bread.

Pork chops, scalloped potatoes, dinner rolls and brownies for dessert. We are moving next week, so this week we'll be having some interesting dinner combinations! :scared: :rotfl:

I've had spaghetti sauce in the crockpot all day. It smells so good. I can't wait to eat it. Now if I only had some garlic bread.

I'm excited we are celebrating Scout's birthday with the family:)
Appetizers:

Won-Tons w/ sausage filling (thanks to the dis)
Veggies and Dip

Main Course:
4 ingrdient oven fried chicken
I'm making twice baked potatos from scratch
Steamed Green Beans

Ice Cream Cake

The Dogs are having a plain hamburger and Frosty Paws :paw: for dessert

Ok now I have to go and get everything together :goodvibes

I cannot believe how the word "black beans" keep coming up. I don't even know what "black beans" are. I live in the Midwest and Chili is made with red beans, hamburger, celery and onions with a tomato sauce & juice. But I know many people that don't even put the beans in anymore (Including mine). Enough.

My husband is making cabbage rolls with hamburger & rice. He took my beef stir fry meat I was going to use tonite for stir fry and dehydrated it. So he has to do the cookin tonite.

It is 40 degress outside, but very windy.

I have a pork loin with BBQ sauce in the crock pot. We had homemade chicken vegetable soup for lunch. We're celebrating my Mom's 89th birthday next Sunday and we'll be having an old-fashioned Sunday "Dinner" - roast beef, mashed potatoes/gravy and green beans!

We are having friends visiting and we are having BBQ ribs, macaroni and cheese, corn muffins and green beans.

Definitely going off the diet tonight!

We've had a pot of soup simmering all afternoon. It's sorta a vegetable soup base, but it's also got hamburger in it. KAMommy did it - an old family recipe. We've got a loaf of herb & cheese bread in the bread oven - it's starting to rise (my contribution to dinner). That'll be done in about 1 1/2 hours.
