I get married on May 16, 2009 (THREE MONTHs!!!!) We honeymoon in Walt disney World May 17-24. And May 24-31st we are driving down to the Keys (Key West).
The cast:
Josh (21) has been dragged TWICE to Disney by me in the past year. Once last May (where we got engaged, see TR in siggy if interested), and once in August for his 21st birthday. He fell completely in love with Disney World quickly. He will be commissioning to the US Army in May (and graduating with his Bachelor's in health care administration), a week before our wedding. He goes to Basic Officer Leadership Course II and II from September 19-December 21st... So I'm just looking forward to spending as much as our newlywed time together as possible.
SIDE NOTE: We toured DVC in May and Josh was pretty interested. He asked a lot of questions, and crunched a lot of numbers. He told me that while with our bi-annual trips, it would make some sense to buy in, he couldn't justify it without the emotional tie. He told me that if that big building they were building by Contemporary was DVC and if the price was in line with AKV, I could be a proud DVC owner. Not only did all that happen, but in November they offered matching Developer points.... So we bought and are taking a trip in July with our Developer points and a trip in December over NYE with our BLT points!!!!!
Caitlin (24) I graduated last year with my MSN. I've been working the past year as a nurse at an inner city Catholic hopsital on an ICU stepdown floor. It's physically and mentally exhausting. I enjoy what I do, but it's not something I can keep up much longer. I am applying to go back to school in the fall, I want a certificate in midwifery! I went to DIsney every year until High School. Tink's my favorite character (You'll be able to tell in my clothing), but I am a huge fan of Belle. I love a disney princess that was selfless (trading herself for her father) and brilliant, and never afraid to have her nose in a book!
Our Disneymoon is booked at the Beach Club Villas. We are looking forward to being so close to our favorite park Epcot and plan on spending three days there, two days at MK, one day each at MGM and AK. We are landing on the 17th at 4:09 PM and taking the Magical Express, I'm a bit nervous that our whole day will be shot (but we decided that leaving at noon would be much better for us and our post-wedding exhaustion then taking an earlier flight).
We are planning on doing the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan. My FH made a big Excel spreadsheet detailing all that we want to do and what days we want to go to parks and what restaurants. i will post that, but I need help from you guys (I make ADRs TOMORROW!) AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
