The World Cup round of 16!!

Early Friday morning the first games in the elimination round of the World Cup will be played. These games are single elimination and obviously the loser goes home! I am going to be running a contest. To enter you must e-mail me your picks for each of the 16 remaining games. I will post the teams that will be playing each other around 9:30am Friday. I MUST recieve your entry no later than midnight, Fri., June 14, 2002. The winner will recieve a Pin Pics Cruise Pin, a Pin Pics "addicted" T-Shirt and an Evil Pin Shark Pin. REMEMBER I must have the winners for all the games even the 3rd place game which will be used as a tie breaker. GOOD LUCK!!

Chas I have benn coaching youth soccer for over 16 years now. I've coached all levels including in-town, travel recreation and Travel Competition. I enjoy the rec. level better. Fewer expectations from the parents.

The deadline is Midnight EDT. Sorry for the confusion. By Midnight PDT some of the games may be under way.

It has been a strange World Cup!! Defending champ France goes home with out advancing and with out scoring a goal!! Traditional power house Argentina also fails to qualify for the round of 16!! And one of the favorites before the tourny, Italy, looks terrible! Should be a VERY interestin elimination round!

Oh jeez,

DH has been been getting up at 4:30 AM in the morning for the last 2 weeks to watch the 3rd match of the day, not to mention whenever the US plays, and the last 2 days he's watched the first game, gone to sleep and gotten up for the 3rd game. He then posts incessantly on soccer boards and soccer newsgroups. My job has been to be the heckler, and now I'm gonna have to ask him to help in picking games...

Is a world cup bigger than one of those Resort mugs, and where in WDW can I buy one? I love my tea in the morning and always can use a bigger cup.
Does the world cup have a photo of the entire world on it, or just WDW? These are questions that need answers. Peggie
