Waiting impatiently!

We were deciding between the two as well, but AoA is more expensive for us since we have 5. I'd love to get a cars suite! If there is free dining if go with POR though for the TS.I'm hoping we book next week. Still trying to decide whether to stay at Art of Animation or pay a little extra for Port of Orleans Riverside. It isn't much more and seems like a lot more appealing to us. This is my 6th time but my husband and younger DD's first time. My husband is singing along to the Mickey Mouse Club House Hit a dog song as I'm typing this! Lol
I don't believe you can get free dining for the campsites. This is our first time to WDW. We did DL for our oldest eighth birthday 3 years ago. We're hoping to drive a friends RV and stay in Fort Wilderness. And a free dining plan would be icing on my son's birthday cake! What level of plans do they normally do?

I was on the phone with a Disney rep, asking about promotions that might be going on (we are planning our Disneymoon for Oct 30- Nov 11) and the nice cast member hinted at free dining!!! fingers crossed (she did say that it would most likely NOT, she stressed not, be an AP or regular hotel discount...)

Sorry, I'm just not sure.
Did she say WHY is wouldn't be an AP or "regular hotel discount" (whatever that is)? Weren't both toom-only general public discounts and AP discounts available for those dates the past 3 years? I realize that there's no guarantee, but I'm curious WHY they might not be offered this year. If they need the free dining to lure people in, you'd think they'd also need some RO discounts for those who aren't interested in a dining plan.

She had said she couldn't get into specifics, understandable, she isn't allowed to say one way or another. I had asked if it would be worth getting an AP for hotel discounts and she immediately said that there would probably not be a hotel discount. I think she meant a discount for non AP holders when she said regular...not sure. I just hope its the free dining!...not just a free memory maker like right now.. granted I would still take the free memory maker hahaha
