It's COLD!

I don't want to hear it. It has been in the 30s in the morning all week here. The downstairs of my house was 55 when I got up this morning. The upstairs bedrooms are comfortable, so I've reorganized my sock drawer just for something to do upstairs where it's warm! We will NOT turn on the furnace yet. That's why they make sweaters, long pants, and warm socks.

Ugh...it has been muggy and in the 70's here in Delaware during the day and cooler at night. I HATE this muggy mess. My hair is a frizz ball! I'm so ready for the high of the day to be 55 or 60. I love fall...sweaters, hoodies, jeans, sweats. Perfect.

You got that right...I have already told my family that the furnace will be lucky to be on by Nov 1st so they better get used to it and pull out all their warm gear!!!

Rainy and muggy here today...kinda feels strange

Really too warm today- so muggy. Hurricaine weather my Mother calls it. My furnace is only on for hot water- hopefully dh will get our pellett stove hooked up soon. I refuse to depend on oil for our comfort this year!!

We had 71 here and it was wonderful. We took this opportunity to clean out the garage and throw stuff out. Great temperature to do that. This next week we're expecting it to get down to 59 degrees as a high on Thurs and this is in Central Michigan. I love the 60's temps. I prefer low 70's, but I'll take anything at this time over 60.
