I can't tell the difference either
They want us to get the truck received and processed (i.e., out on the floor) in 90 minutes, which is their official process for receiving and stocking. We're lucky if we get the truck in the door in 45 minutes and then it takes us all day to get it all processed because we're ALL new. Everyone but the store manager is new. We're still learning, and they're getting mad that we can't get everything done.
I do appreciate that I'm getting more hours. I don't see where in there I was complaining.
Honestly I really can't tell the difference between HiDef and regular TV
I'm sorry if you took it that way. I'm not suggesting your were complaining. I'm just trying to help your expectations.
How many items come on the truck that are supposed to be stocked in 90 minutes? That seems really fast to me.
I've never seen my Ross being stocked, though I've shopped there for several years. Do they already come on hangers? Is all the clothing in order so it comes out in a sequence of sizes, so you can worked your way down a rack?
We get an average of 160 boxes in a shipment. Most clothes don't come on hangers (and if they do, they're not the right hangers and have to be changed), and there are very rarely clothes in order inside the boxes, then things are in smaller boxes inside of other boxes inside of the boxes, not to mention all the bubble wrap, the mixed boxes, and the hard tagging and all that. It takes time. They want the truck in the door in 30 minutes and everything else processed in an hour, which makes absolutely no sense to me.
They scan it before sending it down to us. It's just frustrating because they want us to perform like we've been doing this for years and we've only been doing it for a few weeks.
