Being positive is a good thing, unless you're talking HIV, I try to keep a positive outlook. See now that I'm not going to WDW I can be around for the lasting!

At least you can always go to DL. Its better than nothing. I have only been to WDW once. I was so greatful to do that. It was an AWE moment.

Outside of WDW I would love to go back to the Florida Keys. That was awesome there.

Fran is delerios with the morphine. We have a guy from DirecTV here putting Hidef in our bedroom. We bought a new TV so we could give Arline the old one we gave her stepson, buut had to take back when she didn't have cable, but now she does.

When I was putting in the new TV the old Tivo box died. Since the new TV is HD and it was only $100, we decided to upgrade. However he is having a problem with the dish and is outside trying to fix something.

Me too I didn't really talk to his brother, but his brother's DGF liked me (apparently).

Eh, we're still figuring out how to do the stock room and receive and process the trucks without having a backlog, so basically, every day it's like "Okay, who can stay late?" and it usually winds up being me, Ian, and Larry who stay late. Occasionally there are others, but it's usually the three of us, and I'm in charge after Maureen (our stock lead) leaves for the day.

Aside from more hours, is it more money?

And that is a lot of Mike's family and friends to meet!!! Was there anyone there you liked?

No, still $8.25 an hour. I'm not eligible for a pay raise unless they actually change my position or after I've been there for a year and have my review.

I liked his brother's DGF and his friend, and his cousin seemed very nice. I didn't really talk to his brother or the cousin's DBF.

Well it sounds like things are going well!

I don't want to think about tomorrow where I will be on the phone cancelling all my joy..

Dana i don't think you should expect to go home earlier. With a company of that size they should have a good recieveing system, it may be as good as it will get already. Granted the team will get better and move quicker. Just appreciate you are getting more hours.


I which I was watching this football game in hi def.

They want us to get the truck received and processed (i.e., out on the floor) in 90 minutes, which is their official process for receiving and stocking. We're lucky if we get the truck in the door in 45 minutes and then it takes us all day to get it all processed because we're ALL new. Everyone but the store manager is new. We're still learning, and they're getting mad that we can't get everything done.

I do appreciate that I'm getting more hours. I don't see where in there I was complaining. I'm doing 10 hours tomorrow because they called me a few hours ago to come in at 7am and stay until 5. I can't stay late on Tuesday because DBF is coming for dinner. But every other time that they ask me to stay late, unless I can't, I stay as long as they need me to.
