I know I am late to the party about utilities. Checking my email, I got this month's power bill. Even though I ran the air colder this summer than last, all three of my bills were lower this year than last.

I will definitely do this again every year. More comfort and less money!

Did your power company reduce rates or something? That's .... that's....

No points, it's expired and it was a "filter violation" from 6.28.10 If you care MaryJo gave it to me on the DL boards...

After I got it I groveled heavily as I was kind of new to the DIS she assured me that my status would not be changed. and I have been very good since!

Yes.....I know people on the CB are careful about WM Kathy....but that MaryJo on the DLR side of the boards....both her and Sherry seem really really nice...but I wouldn't want to cross either of them!

Especially now that we've seen the Tag Queens at work, we can kinda guess at how much powers the mods might have. No more cracks about mods in drag from me!!!

That would be it. My guess would be 3 people got warnings.


As for today. One of the bosses on this project came up from Melbourne. To talk to us about things. He's really nice. I wish he was in our office sorting things. They are obsessed with 'national studio' and using resources from all offices but in this case it just causes problems. The leaving project leader tried to defend us explaining this. But he's going with it for now at least.
Anyhow he said to please come to him about grievances and that he does want to make sure we understand we are supported. So I took the opportunity to mention my contract expiring next week and he is on the task. He is on my side but he is in a bit of office politics so we will see what happens next week.
The lunch and after did show him we are a bonded team

No, I think I heard on the news a few months back that rates were going up. DH has a theory that when we set the air at 72 or 73 we mess with it less thus resulting in a lower bill. When it is higher, we would put it down more we got hot and back up again when we were cold. I guess the whole set it and forget it thing really works. Comparing my bills to last summer, each month was about $30 lower. That means more spending money at WDW this December.

I had a post go poof on the DCL board. Does that mean I have an infraction? If so, where could I see it? It was a thread about swim diapers in the pool. It cannot be because I wrote anything mean, since I did not do that. Hmmmm.

The lunch was nice but the service slow ....especially given it was gradually emptying. We started at 1:30pm. We didn't leave until 2 hours later. For only 2 courses.

Yes it was as described not what we were told. Two courses. Either starter and main or main and dessert. Suits me fine.
I ordered first but was the only one who went with dessert. Most got the oysters. Which were about the size of a 50c piece (Aussie money) each. I wish I Had a photo to show how small but I couldn't. They took 2 mins to eat.
others picked asparagus salad. This took longer to eat....otherwise we might have moved on sooner.

Then finally mains arrived. I have a photo of that - my minute steak - I'll upload later. It was nice. The rump was rather thick so I was (after eating it) quite satisfied. Althing when it first arrived I felt it underwhelming.

Because some were eating really slowly time was ticking on. I thought given over half of us had finished they might bring me my dessert. But no not until 10mins after we were done did they collect the plates. Then another 5 for my dessert.....
Awkward....

So before it arrives she enquires about. 2 ask I think in pity of me so I'm not the only delay.
Next min my dessert arrives. Sooooo good pavlova. I so wish I had a photo but there was simply no way.
I eat fairly quickly but slow as the coffees still haven't arrived.....
The place is nearly deserted....no pun intended....and it takes 10min to make 2 coffees?

Good food. Very bad service.

If your post disappeared, it would probably be because they were cleaning up around you and your post didn't make logical sense without the posts they were cleaning up.

Well it really did not look that bad. But I am not a mod. We also had a lady who gave birth during it all. We informed her of what went on she informed us of what was going on her end. It was truly interesting.

Still awake. DS did his feeding a little over an hour ago, so he will be asleep for a while, I bet. He usually goes for 2-4 hours between feedings. Since I do not feel tired, I will not call it a DIS night until his next feeding.

That makes sense. There was one near mine that was pretty gnarly. I will not repeat it, since it was bad enough to get erased.

It is the DIS. I could not even get in this morning (well yesterday, since it is after midnight).

That is too much. I just had my new DS 3 months ago. There is no way I could have sone anything other than scream in pain and pray the baby got out safely in between contractions. She must be a strong woman.
