Alison - I don't subscribe to the Dad's thread. I just pop in once a day or so. Sometimes they just go on a spurt like that and I don't bother to catch up. Just post last and go. It is a very different thread; but can be fun. That bacon spurt was probably my fault.....there are some key words....like "bacon" that gets the dads all worked up in a frenzy.
Novel approach. I'm more a hit and run type on the Dis. That way, I choose which ones I subscribe to. If I set up my profile to automagically subscribe me, I'd be totally all over the board.....wait.....I am totally all over the board!

In any event, most of my posts are on the games board and there are about 20 games that I play; none of which I subscribe to. Makes it easier on the User CP to check subscriptions that way.
