It was definitely worth it and the cold is just about gone now thanks. First few days of the trip report are up whenever you are ready.

Can't wait to read what you thought of SSR - we did the DVC tour this trip (although we've decided not to buy just yet) but *drumroll please* today we just booked to stay at SSR in November!!

Congratulations, you'll love it. It's a little spread out especially in terms of where some of the rooms are in relation to dining facilities but that makes it all the quieter and more relaxing.

Great stuff

It's funny, because when we went for a look around in 2007, we were really disappointed with it because it was really overwhelming! We'd arrived on one of the Disney buses and got off at the wrong stop, which didn't help, but we thought it was just too spread out.
Then this time when we drove in and past the golf course and through to the DVC HQ, we were really suprised at how gorgeous and tranquil it looked and we all changed our opinions.
It's a bit of a trial run for us in DVC, because I'd really like to buy into BLT!
Fingers crossed we have as good a time as you did!
