It's all about the food - We're home - TR/DR Links Inside

Hi Summer,

Long time no DIS! i just took a quick look at your biopage. Everything looks great. Just wanted to throw out another suggestion for the guest book. A family memebr used a black and white photo of the couple and put a mat around it. All of the guests signed the matting. i thought it was pretty cool.

(This would depend also on the number of guests-but still a cool idea.)

Happy planning and we'll all be watching:yay:

Hey! :)

Yeah, we've seen those, and they're cool, but my concern is with the number of guests. We've got 175-200! :scared1: So, I don't think they'd all fit, but I'm trying to see if they have really big ones somewhere. No luck thus far, but I haven't spent too much time looking yet.

So, on a side note, I'm in the process of dyeing my hair blonde! Right now it's a little too orange, so I'm going to have to put in a box of ash blonde. It's pretty crazy.

We went to order one of my bridesmaid's dress (which is a whole crazy story) and I tried on my dress to show her. Holy crap, my hair CANNOT be blonde for the wedding. It looks REALLY bad against the white. Definitely going back to brunette. :thumbsup2

One of my bridesmaids dropped out. She was engaged to Nic's brother, and they broke up, so now one of my very awesome friends is filling in.

We don't have much wedding planning going on right now, because there's just not much we can do right now.

We've got most of our honeymoon sorted out, at least as much as we can right now. We're just REALLY hoping this ADR thing gets sorted out soon! Our 180 days opens up Feb. 3, and right now they're saying mid-to-late January for it to go back to 180 days. They keep pushing it back!

Nic has finals next week. :headache: So, he won't be home this weekend. But, Jacques and I are going to drive over there on Saturday to visit.

FMIL got a new car this past week (an Amber 2009 Ford Focus), and so through the progression of switching cars, we get to get rid of Miss Scarlet (Nic's car) and get the nice Taurus! :woohoo: Miss Scarlet has been FALLING APART for two years, since she got in a pretty bad accident when, as we say, some rowdy teenagers hit her with a cement wall. She is actually to the point where it's comedic. We went to fix her muffler when it fall off about two months ago. On our way home, the hood latch broke, and the hood flew up and smashed the windshield! :scared1: It was horrible, but we couldn't help but laugh.

We bought a Disney scrapbooking kit this past Thursday at Michael's during their Thanksgiving sale. Only $13! We also bought a Cricut and the Disney and Wedding cartridges. :woohoo: I will be scrapbooking while Jacques takes a nap today.

Well, with this extension of the 4/3 deal, we're having some plan changes!!!

Well, after the wedding, we will drive to Detroit still and fly out first thing in the morning. Here's our plan:

Sunday: Downtown Disney, MK
Lunch - Raglan Road
Dinner - Kona Cafe

Monday: Epcot
Breakfast - 1900 Park Fare
Lunch - Le Cellier
Dinner - Garden Grill

Tuesday: MK
Breakfast - Kona Cafe
Lunch - GF Tea
Dinner - Spirit of Aloha Luau

Wednesday: AK
Breakfast - Tusker House
Lunch - Yak and Yeti
Dinner - Jiko

Thursday: Rest
Brunch - Chef Mickey's
Dinner - Yachtsmen Steakhouse
Mini Golfing

Friday: DHS
Breakfast - Produce Cart
Lunch - 50's Prime Time
Dinner - Hollywood Brown Derby

Saturday: Epcot
Breakfast - Cape May Cafe
Lunch - Teppan Edo
Dinner - Akershus

Sunday: MK
Breakfast - Main Street Bakery
Lunch - Columbia Harbor House
Dinner - Not sure. We'll see

Sunday night, we'll take a Lynx bus to the Super 8 (BIG step down from Poly. Hahaha) by MCO. Then we'll take the bus to the airport and fly to Detroit. We'll jump in the car, head back to GR, stopping in Lansing on the way to get the key to our new apartment on the way! We'll get a U-Haul on Tuesday and move in! Yay!

Why? Are you leaving Poly. to go to Super 8:confused3 why not just stay at Poly.?

Hello there!!
That extension on the 4/3 deal is so great! I wish I had more vacation time so I could go another week before our December trip.

All your food makes me just drool. I miss Disney food!

For dinner at MK - are you thinking CS or TS? CS - Cosmic Rays has a lot fo choices, but I'm partial to Casey's corn dog nuggets! :rotfl2: For TS, I've been wanting to try LTT, the food always looks so good. Or Crystal Palace (but I have read their breakfast is better).

Kona breakfast, gaaaaaaaaaaaah, sooooo good!

How is Jacques? Henry is doing great! He's now running all over the place, climbing on things :scared:, and really starting to talk. He's only got a handful of words still, but I can tell the gears are turning and he's learning! Pretty soon he'll be a jabber box because he babbles a LOT right now! It's so fun, isn't it?! :goodvibes

Hope all your wedding plans are falling into place!

Because the Super 8 costs $50 and is next to the airport, and the Poly is $355 and far from the airport, and our flight leaves at 8:00 AM. We could fly out Sunday night instead of Monday morning, but it'd be an extra $150.

We're so unsure as far as what. Neither of us are big fans of the food options at MK.

I LOVE Kona Breakfast. :)

Jacques is awesome. He's the same way with talking. Not much. Just the babbling, and the occasional "kitty" or "akie" (blanket). And, of course, "No!" It is! :goodvibes

They definitely are!! :) I can't wait!! We're under 6 months!!

We're moving Kona Cafe to our last night (Sunday night) and we're moving Raglan Road to dinner the first day. Then, we'll just pick up some snacks from Captain Cooks or whatever.

We're also going to Disney On Ice in a week. Yay!! :) I'll take pictures to share. :goodvibes

Have fun at Disney on Ice!!

I checked out your wedding website - your dress, and everything else looks just beautiful! I love your colors. I can't wait to see pics of it all come together. :goodvibes

I definitely will!! :)

I'll make sure to post wedding pictures on my TR when we get them. :goodvibes

We have got to stop changing things. :rotfl:

Other changes, other changes. Let's see...

If they offer a room-only reservation deal at the values for the last night before we fly home, we're going to do that instead of leaving property, since then it'll be the same cost.

Also, once we make our ADRs, I'm going to do an in-depth plan with pictures from our last trip. :cheer2:

And, I made a countdown calendar! It's actually days until the wedding, not Disney, but whatever. :rotfl:

I know! I've been bad! Wedding planning, Jacques, and work got in my way.

Plus, my new addiction. I can't believe it. It's still hard to admit... :rotfl:

World of Warcrack... craft! I mean World of Warcraft.

But, it's getting close and our ADR window opens soon, so then I'll have lots to do! Plus, once we're within 90 days, we're reordering RideMax.

It's August 1st. :goodvibes

Welcome back! :goodvibes Good to "see" you again.

We made back-ups for our November trip too - just in case - you don't want to be on the phone and not get something and have no clue what to fill it with.

I know! I've been bad! Wedding planning, Jacques, and work got in my way.

I cannot even fathom how busy you are!!!!!!!

How is Jacques? Our babies are getting SO BIG aren't they?!
