Yay Paula!! That is exciting! I am happy for you that you were able to find something for at least one week!

I'm sure you will enjoy VWL. We really enjoyed the boats to MK and all the MK resorts. DH loved the pool, we both loved the decor, and just walking around the resort was nice. Our only regret was that we didn't eat at AP. We're going to try and rectify that this time around.
All your F&W event plans are making me realize I know nothing about the typical events at F&W! This will be our first time there, and I hadn't thought about doing anything except snacking at the booths. Now I'm starting to think I better do more research.
Yay! I've only been inside the WL once, and that was for dinner at WCC. I love the look of the resort and would love to stay there sometime! I'm actually hoping to stay at a Deluxe on my next family trip (hopefully next October) and WL is in consideration!

I am so excited for you! No more worrying about having to change the length of your stay!![]()
I have fallen so behind in reading PTR's lately!! Yikes!
Your plans sound good. Congrats on VWL...looks so pretty. You also have a lot of yummy looking places you are planning on eating at.
I saw this on the FB page, so excited for you! Good choice, you're going to love WL! Forget boat to DTD - boat to MK is way better! LOL. I didn't want to leave when I stayed there - so far it's my favorite resort out of the 3 I've stayed in.
Ohhh, Wilderness Lodge! It's on my list, but no one else ever wants to stay there (except DH and he never gets to go anymore)
Have you thought about Writers Stop in DHS for breakfast? The have pastries, muffins and cinnamon rolls and coffees. Not as sweet as offerings as Starring Rolls and we like it for more breakfasty type items.
Yay for the Wilderness Lodge!!!You are going to love it there, it's my favorite place in Disney!
Sweet Sunday's sound so amazing...I don't know why we didn't do any of the F&W events last year!
I'm glad you were able to work a little bit of the timeshare stuff out.......and getting to stay somewhere you're REALLY wanted to stay at is a bonus!!!! Sorry about the banked points......seems like such a shame they'll go to waste!
Hey there!! I'm late, but I'm here!! Going back to catch up!!! I didn't even notice you had a PTR going!! I'm sorry! But, I'm here now, and we have 6 months to count down together!!!!

Did you stay in the Villas side or the Hotel? just curious?!?!
The Magic Behind Our Steam Trains is a really good tour if you are at all interested in trains. Unfortunately for us, we took it on an extremely cold morning in December (seriously, it was probably in the high 30s to low 40s)...well, cold for California ppl. It seemed like everyone on the tour was freezing, though, and it's mainly outdoors. Our tour guide was very knowledgable, though, and we learned a lot about not only the trains themselves, but also Walt Disney's relationship with trains. Good choice!![]()
Yay for the Wilderness Lodge!! How exciting!![]()
No, I stayed in the hotel. The villas & the main hotel are connected by a breezeway so it makes it really easy to walk between them. The bus stops are centrally located near the breezeway. My friend owns DVC at VWL and she loves it!
