I consider myself a WDW veteran but we only go every two years and this is a whole new world from the Disney of even 2012!
We are going in August 3 nights BWV, 2 BCV, and 3 BLT. There are 6 of us (my parents, 2 daughters, husband and I) so all stays are in a 2 bedroom villa.
We love split stays ( though usually we only do 2 we had to do 3 due to adding my parents in and only booking last week). We do not do DDP but rather TIW as my daughters at 14 and 12 are no longer bargains on the DDP and DDP and split stays can be cumbersome as each stay is a different DDP.
The question comes in with FP and tickets. My family needs all new tickets this trip, my parents have a few leftover. Can we purchase individual ticket packages per Magic Band? How do the bands work with different resorts? How far in advance do you do the FP reservations?
I have gathered I need to go on MDE (also a new experience) to do all this but before I do anything I was wondering if those of you with experience could shed some light and advice on the whole thing. I want to set it up right.
Also as far as MDE is there just one? I had an app from this put on two years ago which I think was sponsored by AT&T is that the same?
