It's a Stroller Sir, not a Battering Ram!!! NEW PTR LINK POSTED

Hi Queen! Or should I say Jacquie!

Not sure if you remember me, but I've posted on your TRs before and I know you read some of mine. Anyway, I stumbled across your TR the other day and read through it all over 2 days! It sounds like such a perfect trip so far, hope it continues. Can't wait for another update.

I absolutely remember you and that beautiful puppy of yours! I am so glad that you are here! Do you have a current report going? If so, let me know, I would love to read it!

Hi Jacquie! Welcome back! I've been neglectful of my TR reading last few days so now I'm playing catch up.

I knew you would be here...hope everyone is well! We were just talking about you guys the other day there and Jeff was saying again how fun you all were and how comfortable it was in your company!

Well... Since I just admitted that I've been neglectful myself, I'll forgive you....

But just this once.

Deal!
Yeah, I hear ya. You can get so involved in this stuff that everything else suffers. I've had to restrain myself a couple of times from jumping on more TRs... I can barely manage the ones I'm reading now! :sad2:

I couldn't agree more! As much as I love it, I was finding that after dinner I would sign in and between this and facebook my entire evening was gone!

We missed you too! I was starting to get a little worried. "Should I phone her? Make sure everything's okay?

Then I checked my PM list... and I don't have your number! How'd that happen?

How did that happen? I will send you a PM with it....could have swore we exchanged numbers!

:lmao: Oh, whoa is you! You have to finish this TR 'cause you're off to Disney again!

....and I love a good PTR just as much as a TR!

::yes::

What? A stove? An oven? A BBQ? Could you clarify please?

:rolleyes1:

all of the above:rotfl:

When the girls were 4 and 8, we didn't even get past the entrance! :rotfl:

:lmao:

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess... Disney World?

:thumbsup2

 Not now Mother! <schlork> <schlork> <schlork>

Were you there...that was exactly the conversation LOL

I can imagine! Even though they're small compared to 'normal' size burgers... that looks like a lot of grub!

delicious yet very filling...we'll know better next time!

Wait, "eat fish and shellfish til the cows came home." I'm a little confused... did she have seafood or beef?

There's a new sushi place across from St. Vital Centre that's called Shelfish. Haven't tried it though, but I like the name.

My kid does not eat beef, don't ask me why, but unless it's forced on her she really doesn't enjoy it! Chicken, pork, and fish...are the staples in her diet!

We'll have to try it out! The kids love sushi and frequent Dae Gill by our place!

Sorry, what? Perhaps I misread. Did you say you guys were loopy?

I'll buy that.

You know us too well!

Really? It looks like a big air conditioning unit to me. But if you say you want to stay there, well... okay. :confused3

:rotfl2:

Candied bacon? On a cupcake?

That cupcake was the talk of the trip when we got home! Of course, with the icing being peanut butter I couldn't second it, but she's pretty adamant about it!

Well, all right. If you say so. I'm game to give it a try.

There you go! That's the spirit!

Oh, good. I've been wondering if you forgot about your title.
Thanks for the chapter! :goodvibes:

I think you may have missed that post....it's right before I started my replies! Hope you enjoy it!

Yay your back! I love reading your trip reports :goodvibes

Awww thanks so much hon....thank you for stopping by and letting me know! I am so happy to be back!

Hope everyone had a great week! I am expecting my sister and her kiddies after her oldest is finished at Archery so I thought I better get a post done now!

This would be our last day before TS Beryl hit us! Didn't I book this vacation in may to avoid this....and hurricanes! Oh well, we would just have to make the best of it!

We headed down to the main lobby to grab some breakfast and we were off to Epcot
642.jpg

Thought I would try some creative photography
644.jpg

We decided to head straight to Soarin, rode that and then jumped in line for this little gem! We love this ride, it gives you a break out of the elements and it's always informative
645.jpg

Pineapples....I prefer mine on the edge of the glass with a pina colada!
647.jpg

bananas
649.jpg
Then we headed to The Seas!
650.jpg

First time we ever saw a diver in the tank so we had to stick around and watch the show! It was great!
652.jpg

Nemo and friends! I love this little area and seeing all the little ones enjoy it as well! It's definitely a classic in our home!
653.jpg

So french countryside...love this little spot!
655.jpg

Heading to WS to our lunch ADR! As you can see we came prepared with our umbrella's because the forecast was not looking great!
656.jpg

My fav's!
657.jpg

France....who doesn't love France! They have Grey Goose Slushies after all!
658.jpg

Going to look thru the shops...I love heading over right at 11 or close enough before the crowds get huge! The little shops are great and I really feel transported to the country! We have started to do this every trip now but it does help that Shanleigh is older and isn't begging to go back to the pool!
659.jpg

Nice shot of the back of my head!
663.jpg

Stopped to enjoy the drummers in Japan! We weren't sure if we would enjoy them again before the storm hit and we were right!
665.jpg

Italy....we spend so much time here and Shanleigh always manages to find some piece of jewellery or a purse to buy! She loves these masks and my aunt and her partner were lucky enough to travel to Italy for their 25th and bought all the girls one!
667.jpg

More beautiful creations!
670.jpg

We then headed to Via Napoli (one of our favourites) for our lunch ADR! It was so packed in the lobby when we walked in and people were so angry because now it was raining, they wanted to be in out of it and they were fully booked!
671.jpg

We split a pizza so we could have these.....if you know Shanleigh at all, you know she loves everything chocolate and never waivers from it! My dessert is one of my favourites in the World! I get it everytime we are here or at Tutto Italia!
672.jpg

The rain had let up so I had to get and grab a glass of wine to enjoy just being in Italy! My beloved Rosa Regale...how I love thee!
674.jpg

This guy is fantastic and if he's out when we are walking by we stop to watch! Pure entertainment and we love it!
675.jpg

A little stop in Germany!
676.jpg

Who can walk by this little gem and not stop? Well, not us! We had to go in and get the apple that we love for a little snack later! It's the perfect size to split!

All caught up. Wow, I cannot believe the craziness that ensued during the nighttime shows at MK! :scared: Well, unfortunately, I can, but it still shocks me everytime I read about guests being that ugly to one another. Just wish people would stop bickering and enjoy the fact that they're on vacation in one of the happiest places on earth.

Mmm, Via Napoli...great lunch choice. And arriving at the WS when it first opens is great, you definitely beat the afternoon crowds that show up after lunchtime. ::yes::

I am so sick of snow and winter so seeing flowers and topiaries in your pictures is wonderful! :)

Via Napoli is a great choice and your dessert looks delicious!

Hey girl! I was just thinking about you!!

Even tho it happens every trip, it still surprises me that people forget where they are...or worse yet, they don't care:sad:

When I asked Shanleigh her picks for restaurants on our next trip her answer was Via Napoli, via Napoli and what the heck...via Napoli :rotfl2:

I am so sick of snow and winter so seeing flowers and topiaries in your pictures is wonderful! :)

Via Napoli is a great choice and your dessert looks delicious!

Me too!! It's only -26 here today and it's sad when you think that's warm!! All of last week we were in the -40's with the wind chill and apparently we'll be in a deep freeze again by Wednesday! The cold was bad enough, but as soon as it warmed up (and I use that term loosely) it snowed! We took our lives in our hands yesterday on these city streets that's for sure!

It's one of our favourites and it's on our list for next time!!!!

I love Rose Regale - discovered it during F&W. So good! When you go back to Epcot you have to go in the wine bar - Tutto Gusto. Pretty cool in there. We are now calling it the Italian Ditch! :rotfl2:

Those masks are very cute!

I love Via Napoli. The pizza - yum! That dessert looks pretty amazing.

I agree - pineapples are only good for pina coladas! :rotfl2:

Oh - FWIW - I will never try Bacon on a cupcake. Well, unless I've had two or three glasses of Rose Regale. :rotfl2:

Fun update!

I think about via Napoli everyday…
Too bad mom wants to try new places next trip! Why eat anywhere else? Unbeatable

Also… enjoyed watching your jets beat up on the overrated pens last night!

Love all the WS pics, Queen!
When i went to Italy, I could only afford a tiny little mask. It was beautiful, though, and it's still one of my prized possessions. Maybe now I can get a bigger one at the Italy Pavillion!

Queen, no worries on the coffee...I will gladly welcome its deliciousness upon its arrival but you need to stay safe and warm, first and foremost!

I loveeeeee Via Napoli!! What are the desserts you ordered? Their pizza and sangria (pitcher!) are amazing, wish I was there now!

Hope you're enjoying the visit with your family today!

Adorable pics of the France pavilion! We love Via Napoli too. One of these days we will have to attempt to share a pizza so we will have room for dessert! Unfortunately, the pizza is so delicious I just want to keep eating it long after I'm stuffed. :rotfl:

I knew you would be here...hope everyone is well! We were just talking about you guys the other day there and Jeff was saying again how fun you all were and how comfortable it was in your company!

Everyone's well, over here, thanks. That day was a lot of fun, wasn't it?

How did that happen? I will send you a PM with it....could have swore we exchanged numbers!

I'm sure we must have... but it's not there now. Please do PM me.

My kid does not eat beef, don't ask me why, but unless it's forced on her she really doesn't enjoy it! Chicken, pork, and fish...are the staples in her diet!

No beef for Shan, no nuts for you. Got it. Anything else I need to know?

We'll have to try it out! The kids love sushi and frequent Dae Gill by our place!

Ruby can't eat seafood so we almost never do sushi. I like it when I have it, and I've had Dae Gill too! :)

I think you may have missed that post....it's right before I started my replies! Hope you enjoy it!

I don't know how it happened, but I did miss it! Good thing you're here to keep me honest....

I hope I don't give anyone heart failure by doing 2 updates in one weekend after being gone so long:lmao:

Heart failure... no. Failure to see it? ::yes::

I like to consider myself an expert when it comes to all things Disney and Disneyworld...what I found I'm not an expert on...know when it's a holiday weekend in the states!

:lmao: I don't consider myself an expert anymore... it's been too long. But that's one of the first things I check. We'll have to all go together, you plan everything and I'll check for U.S. holidays.

on this evening the park was packed to the gills...I had never seen crowds like this!

Oh? Try MK for the fireworks on new years eve.

Been there, not gonna do that again.

hey, if there is a parade, we're going to watch it!

At least now I know how to stop you in your tracks... just put on an impromptu parade.

We grabbed our dinner and headed to eat outside where we had an amazing view of the castle! It was fantastic, we didn't rush, we just enjoyed out dinner!

That sounds really nice. A relaxing dinner with castle view. Try and top that!

Shanleigh thought this was the cutest stuffed toy and she was even more overjoyed when she found out.....
it was reversable!!! She wanted it so badly but eventually talked herself out of it knowing it would only sit on her bed and collect dust (her words, not mine:lmao:)

So what if it collects dust! What doesn't? Next time... buy it. (Tell her I said so.)

Everytime I see the balloon person I think of our first trip and Shanleigh wanted a balloon so badly but never did get one!

When we were there last, we bought one for each of the kids. But we couldn't bring them on the plane, so as we were leaving ASMu each girl gave their balloons to another little kid. They were both quite pleased to be able to pass on some pixie dust.

Like that shot of the castle with the street light. :thumbsup2

This would be our viewing spot for the parade and this is about the time the magic of the day evaporated for us both!

uh oh

Well, anyone who has done this also knows that there are always people who think they can walk in front of you and just stand there....

yup.

It was so bad on this evening that we were pinned in like sardines and peope were still trying to push thru! REALLY??

It's almost like some people are either totally oblivious or just don't care.

One lady actually got into an argument with some young adults who had been on the curb since we got there...lovely young people in their early 20's! She started yelling at them saying they should be letting her kids sit there and how disgusted she was in them....it was one of those scenes that you think "is this really happening?"

Well then again... Do you know how much money she spent to come to Disney? Don't you know that because she spent all that money that you should move?

:sad2:

I was proud of them that they remained calm and explained (which I wouldn't have) it was their first trip and they had been there for an hour to get this spot! She heckled them the entire parade...until finally a CM supervisor came over and they escorted her out! Brutal!

I'm glad she got the boot, after that display.

When Wishes was finally over I realized that what I thought was a great viewing spot was not....it took us well over an hour to get down Main Street to the front!

:scared: Yikes!

As we were talking this young man with a MK stroller came up beside us and he had lost his mind by this point!

Why did you think that? What was he doing/saying?

He hit this poor woman in front of us so hard she fell down

 Makes me wonder... There's no cost to him (unless he gets sued, I guess) if he rams into someone with a stroller... But what would he do if he was in a car, caught in a traffic jam? Just smash his car into others'?

and when her husband said something to him which we didn't hear she hit the guy with the stroller:headache: I couldn't believe my eyes.

wow

just. wow.

This was when I said the infamous words "it's a stoller sir, not a battering ram" to which he uttered two words to me which I'm sure you can figure out and Shanleigh and I burst out laughing!

two words? "luv ya" That was it right? No?

Keep in mind the whole time he's doing this, he had a toddler in the stroller who is screaming and one strapped to his chest!

okay, now I sort of understand. Not that it's an acceptable excuse or anything but I think parents are hardwired that when they hear their kid screaming they'll do anything to stop it.

Like I said, though. Not an excuse for boorish behavior.

I learned a very valuable lesson that day....check and make sure that the Saturday night you plan to go to the MK....make sure it's not a holiday weekend!

Disney is nothing if not educational. Thanks for the chapter Queen! Off to read the latest one. :goodvibes

I am expecting my sister and her kiddies after her oldest is finished at Archery so I thought I better get a post done now!

Kay tried a bit of archery but that kid doesn't seem to like anything structured.

"But don't you want to learn how to do x better?"
"No, I just want to do it!!"

<sigh>

This would be our last day before TS Beryl hit us! Didn't I book this vacation in may to avoid this....and hurricanes! Oh well, we would just have to make the best of it!

Be honest, now. Did you really try to avoid Tropical Storms or were you just trying to avoid hurricanes. Cause then all bets are off.

Thought I would try some creative photography
644.jpg

Nice shot! But where's it from?

We love this ride, it gives you a break out of the elements and it's always informative

Never done it. Might never do it.

First time we ever saw a diver in the tank so we had to stick around and watch the show! It was great!

The very first time I went to Epcot I saw a diver in there. I just assumed it was common place so didn't pay too much attention.

I didn't even know they still used that!

I've got a few pics of the rugrats there when they were 4 & 8.

Hoo, boy. Those look so,... so,.... decadent.

The rain had let up so I had to get and grab a glass of wine to enjoy just being in Italy! My beloved Rosa Regale...how I love thee!

:rotfl: Why do I get the feeling that that line could just as easily have been:

The rain had not let up so I had to get and grab a glass of wine
The blizzard had begun up so I had to get and grab a glass of wine
Epcot was on fire so I had to get and grab a glass of wine

Who can walk by this little gem and not stop? Well, not us! We had to go in and get the apple that we love for a little snack later! It's the perfect size to split!

I wouldn't even try to walk past it. Once I've seen it, it's too late to try to avoid going in and getting something... or several somethings!

Thanks for the chapter! :goodvibes

:rotfl2:

Fun update!

That 's where I discovered it the first time too! F & W 2004....yum! I will definitely try it...Italian Ditch :lmao: It's on my list now!

There is nothing like a good pina colada is there? My favourite summertime drink! They are pretty darn good at O'Hana's too!

Two or three glasses of Rose Regale will make us try just about anything:rotfl2:

I think about via Napoli everyday…
Too bad mom wants to try new places next trip! Why eat anywhere else? Unbeatable

Also… enjoyed watching your jets beat up on the overrated pens last night!

Hey girl! I agree...once again, it was the first ADR we chose for our upcoming trip! We are going to try at least one new place but I'm hoping for a few more too!

Wasn't that great! I don't think Shanleigh and I stayed seated for more than 5 minutes at a time! So proud of our boys! She's already looking for a new hoodie to bring down on our next trip...oh and a toque...they have a really cute one with a huge pom pom...she'll be owning that by the end of this week I'm sure! We're taking on the Islanders tonight....here's for another great game!

Love all the WS pics, Queen!
When i went to Italy, I could only afford a tiny little mask. It was beautiful, though, and it's still one of my prized possessions. Maybe now I can get a bigger one at the Italy Pavillion!

Aww thanks hon...I love to look back and just picture being there!

The girl's are all small as well but I agree, a larger one would be fantastic and what a focal point in a room!

I did make sure and buy it before the Christmas can's were all gone, I just loved the scene this year and I think you will too! I promise it will be in the mail this week!

Shan ordered the chocolate gelato and I order something that translates to ugly but good and oh lordy is it good! I had only one piece of pizza so I could have it:worship:

We had a great visit! Thanks hon and hope you're having a great weekend!

Adorable pics of the France pavilion! We love Via Napoli too. One of these days we will have to attempt to share a pizza so we will have room for dessert! Unfortunately, the pizza is so delicious I just want to keep eating it long after I'm stuffed. :rotfl:

Thanks doll! I agree, it is so yummy and Shanleigh said next time she wants her own :rotfl2: The problem is she is a choco-holic and can't say no so then she ends up with an upset tummy;)

Everyone's well, over here, thanks. That day was a lot of fun, wasn't it?

Glad to hear it! It sure was!

I'm sure we must have... but it's not there now. Please do PM me.

As soon as I'm thru here I will send it!

No beef for Shan, no nuts for you. Got it. Anything else I need to know?

Ummm...well, you already know Jeff needs her own personal fly swatter so....nope we're good!

Ruby can't eat seafood so we almost never do sushi. I like it when I have it, and I've had Dae Gill too! :)

Love it there....I don't go often but once in a while I will split a roll with Shan

I don't know how it happened, but I did miss it! Good thing you're here to keep me honest....

that's what I'm here for!

Heart failure... no. Failure to see it? ::yes::

:lmao:
:lmao: I don't consider myself an expert anymore... it's been too long. But that's one of the first things I check. We'll have to all go together, you plan everything and I'll check for U.S. holidays.

Sounds like a plan...we'll have all our bases covered for an amazing vacation!

Oh? Try MK for the fireworks on new years eve.

Just the thought of it makes me queezy!

At least now I know how to stop you in your tracks... just put on an impromptu parade.

So next time we get together.....I can expect that??

That sounds really nice. A relaxing dinner with castle view. Try and top that!

It has become a must do for us and while I was typing this, I thought it's the only time I ever eat hotdogs too!

So what if it collects dust! What doesn't? Next time... buy it. (Tell her I said so.)

Told her.....her response.....she'll be purchasing it next trip!

When we were there last, we bought one for each of the kids. But we couldn't bring them on the plane, so as we were leaving ASMu each girl gave their balloons to another little kid. They were both quite pleased to be able to pass on some pixie dust.

What a great idea...clearly I was thinking of us and only us....how rude of me!

Like that shot of the castle with the street light. :thumbsup2

I was trying to be creative while passing the time LOL

uh oh

yup.

It's almost like some people are either totally oblivious or just don't care.

Yup ... maybe a little of both!

Well then again... Do you know how much money she spent to come to Disney? Don't you know that because she spent all that money that you should move?

:sad2:

So sad....I know everyone has a breaking point, but if you're there, you need to just pack up and head back to the hotel!

I'm glad she got the boot, after that display.

The CM's were amazing!
:scared: Yikes!

Why did you think that? What was he doing/saying?

Yelling, swearing, calling his wife names cause she couldn't keep up with the other child....it was just so sad!

 Makes me wonder... There's no cost to him (unless he gets sued, I guess) if he rams into someone with a stroller... But what would he do if he was in a car, caught in a traffic jam? Just smash his car into others'?

I often wonder if they behave that way in public, what are they like in private!

wow

just. wow.

two words? "luv ya" That was it right? No?

Close but no....ask Ruby, she'll tell ya!

okay, now I sort of understand. Not that it's an acceptable excuse or anything but I think parents are hardwired that when they hear their kid screaming they'll do anything to stop it.

Like I said, though. Not an excuse for boorish behavior.

Agreed, but this entire family was past the point of reason if you know what I mean.....

Disney is nothing if not educational. Thanks for the chapter Queen! Off to read the latest one. :goodvibes

Hope you enjoy it!
Kay tried a bit of archery but that kid doesn't seem to like anything structured.

"But don't you want to learn how to do x better?"
"No, I just want to do it!!"

<sigh>

My sister's oldest just loves it! She's pretty good too! I like the fact that it's close to our place so they pop in after she's done!

Be honest, now. Did you really try to avoid Tropical Storms or were you just trying to avoid hurricanes. Cause then all bets are off.

I wanted perfect weather the entire time we were there....too much to ask LOL

Nice shot! But where's it from?

Living With The Land ride!

Never done it. Might never do it.

Shan would be right there with ya...she hates this ride!

:lmao: I just about fell out of my chair when I read that!

The sad part is it's so true! I could go for a Keg pina colada today...too bad can't go tonight, gotta watch the Jets!

The very first time I went to Epcot I saw a diver in there. I just assumed it was common place so didn't pay too much attention.

I didn't even know they still used that!

We usually don't spend a lot of time in this area but since it was pouring out we decided to hang around and I'm glad we did!

I've got a few pics of the rugrats there when they were 4 & 8.

Must seem like so long ago!

I'll let you know how it compares to the real thing when we get back from Paris this summer.

Ummmm. ... what??? You think you can just slip that in with no explanation!!! I need details!!!

Hmmm... so that's Shan's umbrella... Yours must be... pink?

I wish....nope both the same both from Disney cause I forgot to pack them:rolleyes1

I have a feeling I won't be able to get one in the real France.

You don't need one...you can make a mean one at home!

You just said you did what I've been dying to do for about 30 years now.

:goodvibes

Which pretty much sums up why I haven't been able to do that for the last couple of trips!

Ok...note to self...no drinking coffee when reading your replies!

So... you hated them? Or were just ambivalent?

Hmmm, I must ponder that!

Ummm.... Did I mention we're going to Venice too? Tell her I'll look for something for her from there, unless she would prefer not.

Ummm... no , didn't mention that either! I guess tho it's because you don't have our number! I will break that news to her today right as I'm dropping her off at work so I don't have to listen to all the whining that will accompany it! I will absolutely tell her that....she would never say no to anything from Italy !

okay. Guilty pleasure coming up.

I like it when I walk into a Disney restaurant and there are tons of people waiting and we get sat right away because we made an ADR.
I bask in their glares as I saunter past them.

Evil, no?

Nope, we just know to do our homework and be prepared!!

Hoo, boy. Those look so,... so,.... decadent.

Yup....that's the word!

:rotfl: Why do I get the feeling that that line could just as easily have been:

The rain had not let up so I had to get and grab a glass of wine
The blizzard had begun up so I had to get and grab a glass of wine
Epcot was on fire so I had to get and grab a glass of wine

Did I tell you that Shanleigh bought me a wine glass for Christmas....it holds an entire bottle of wine.....I think she might have been trying to tell me something!

I wouldn't even try to walk past it. Once I've seen it, it's too late to try to avoid going in and getting something... or several somethings!

Thanks for the chapter! :goodvibes

Please tell your 3 ladies that we said hi!!
