Oh? Was it cold? Hadn't noticed. Oh sure I mentioned something or other to Ruby, but we had to bring the words inside and let them thaw out before she could understand me.
But other than that, nope. Hadn't noticed.
Just a little chilly, nothing we couldn't handle right?
I heard it was supposed to warm up in July.
Could be wrong.
July works, May would be better, but July works!
I am curious to know if any of your readers thought, "Plugged in? Electric car, right?"
6 PM's to be exact because they were too embarrassed to ask on here! Completely understand and yes they all thought electric car, but nope!!
When we lived in Churchill our car had three plugs. One for the block heater, one for the in-car heater and one for the battery blanket. In a pinch you could do without the in-car... but not without the battery blanket.
I remember the block heater always and when we were kids, I remember my dad had the in-car heater too!
When we first moved north (Lynn Lake) I bought a Snow Goose jacket. Best purchase I ever made. I remember walking to a friend's house when the windchill was about -60 and I was wearing just a short sleeve T-shirt and my parka. I was sweating from being too hot!
Great coat.
My dad picked her up one day from school when it was in the -40's and they went out for lunch and when she took her jacket off he got mad at her cause she had a blouse on underneath and she said even with this grandpa I was hot!
That's a nice sentiment about your Dad. I always thought it was because people came in spring and thought, "Oh, this is nice weather. We can grow crops here."
Then summer rolls around and they thought, "Wow! This is really nice! We'll have amazing crops."
Then as fall approaches they think, "Well, this isn't too bad at all. Nice weather for harvesting and planting the next round. Nice and cool, perfect."
Then after winter they thought, "Holy Carp! There's no way in Heck that
that will ever happen again!!!"
We're born of optimists, I tell ya.
I agree...spring summer falll....all amazing beautiful and I guess winter is too but not when the settlers first came over! I can't even imagine how they survived it!
Well when you gotta go take pictures, ya gotta go.
But you did it twice? Did you fastpass once?
Nope, by the time we came back around the line was completely gone, I think they opened the other side!
I don't know what's funnier. Funnier? Sure, it's a word. Funny, funnier, funniest, funnilicious.
Anyway, I don't know what's funnier, Shan's mock terror or the boy in blue hiding his eyes in front of you or the two kids on the far right front row holding on for dear life to their mother.
I think all are hilarious! It's funny when you can actually take time to look at the picture and see everyone's reactions!
Isn't it nice to know that you'll have a photo of her to display when she gets married?
Oh yes, it's been added to the list! But I hope that is many many years away!
Awww... I bet that was the highlight of his trip.
Well of course. There's always time to draw serious, but when you're at Disney, by all means draw goofy.
Is there any other way?
You two too! Thanks for update!
