Ahhhh MK day!!
I've never seen the opening show. I'm always so relaxed in the mornings that I never want to rush. This trip it's on my to-do list!
Sounds like such a nice relaxing morning at MK! Love that Splash was a walk on! I actually like getting wet first thing in the day, it keeps me cooler for a little while.

I want to get this update completed before the weekend starts. Looking to be a pretty good one here so that means we’ll be outside enjoying it!

We decided to have lunch at Cosmic Rays and once again, I forgot to take pics of our lunch. We split a hot dog and fries and we each had a water. It was yummy! I love a hotdog every now and then and this was the day!

We decided to just make our way out of the park and head back for some pool time so we took the first door we saw out. This is when we realized that this was where we would get to meet a very important lady……

We stood in line for about 20 minutes as they were with a Wish Family and I’ll wait forever to see someone if there is a Wish Family in front of us. The little ones were so cute and I said to Shanleigh it reminds us how lucky we are. Before we knew it, it was our turn and Merida introduced us to her 2 brothers….err….bears….so cute!

Having a chat with Merida….who is beyond cute and adorable and from our homeland of Scotland!!

Do we look happy or what! I am so happy we took that door out or I think it would have slipped my mind completely that she was even at the park!

After our meet we meandered out but not before we looked thru a few stores. I picked this purse up and put it down probably 10 times…but just couldn’t justify the $210 price tag. I have my Princess D & B and that would be the only one I would be having. Yup, I walked away!

No crowds once again! And I just had to get a shot of The Avenger monorail....it was awesome!

We had another great afternoon by the pool and then showered and got ready for our dinner at Coral Reef! We were the only ones on the bus that evening so I was able to grab this great shot of the entrance to Pop!

Since we were early (I kept forgetting that it didn’t take as long to get to the parks as it did when we were at ASMu) so we decided to hope on SE!

Finally time for dinner…we were both looking forward to this let me tell you!

Shanleigh went straight to the counter to check us in…it was packed in there but we didn’t even wait 5 minutes until we were called!

The menu….oh what to have what to have

My delicious Mahi Mahi….with laughing bird shrimp …. So delicious

Of course my daughter order the deluxe mac and cheese with lobster and I swear there was a whole lobster in this dish! She loved it and said she would go back again just for this….she loves her lobster!

My dessert which was the Bailey’s parfait ( not the real name but you get it right) so strong and so delicious….had the true flavour of the Bailey’s

Shan’s dessert…the chocolate wave! This is hands down her favourite dessert on property and in general! She compares everything to this dessert and usually ends up saying “it’s not as good as the chocolate wave at the Coral Reef”

Our waiter was lovely and I wish I could remember his name but he was exceptional. Not over the top but attentive enough. He offered to take this picture for us or I would have forgotten to ask!

Once we were finished our fantastic meal we wandered a little and then headed back to the hotel. We decided to look around the little shop in the hotel and I had to take this picture for my oldest niece. All she wanted me to bring her back was a Star Wars Vinyl mation so I took this picture so she could see them all. She ended up with R2D2 and she was beyond thrilled.

Shanleigh bought an apron and measuring cups for her hope chest! I bought some pens and note pads with the magnets for the fridge! All in all another fabulous day at our fabulous place!

You met Merida!? *Squeal!!* I saw Brave in theatres and seriously, she's my new favourite princess. I loved the movie so much! I would love to meet her and her brothers when I go!

I'm hoping that we can meet Merida when we go in October! She and Ariel are my favorite!!

I love the Coral Reef. unfortunately it's a no can do for me. With shellfish allergies I have to stay far away from there. Love the desserts though. They look soooo yummy!!

I might have to pick up a few of the vinylmations when we go. They are just so cute!!

You will love it! You really need to see it once and you"ll be hooked...it just sets the tone for theday!

It does keep you cooler that is for sure! I wish my hair would hold up tho

She is great! She was in no rush to move us along and we had a great chat...You'll have to put that on your MK day for sure

How lucky that you guys happened to stumble upon Merida's line...the cast member portraying her looks like she has the character down perfectly.

I love Shanleigh's dress she wore to the coral reef...and it looks like you had such a fun evening...the Coral Reef is always one of our favorites too.

Wow! MK looks so empty, how wonderful! Only a 20 minute wait to see Merida? That's great! I'm really glad you posted the picture because DD wants me to make her a Merida dress, I'm so glad to see what the "official" one looks like!

She had her down to a T! She was probably one of the best character interactions we've ever had!

Shanleigh picked up that dress in March when we went shopping in the states....Target $15....such a steal!! Glad you enjoy CR as much as we do! It was been a fav of ours since we first tried it in 2002!

It was wonderful! It made my laid back morning of touring work out perfectly

We were lucky to only wait 20 minutes because when I turned around at one point I couldn't see the end of the line Her dress was lovely and she was an itty bitty little thing too!

Did you mean Coral Reef? If you really did mean The Wave, we've never been there and have often thought of putting it on our list of must do's for a future trip!

I thought she was such a great character to meet. She absolutely had the gift of the gab that's for sure!

I didn't end up buying the bag, I just couldn't justify it I found when I got the princess one, the only place I used it was when we were at the World so I decided against it.

It wasn't on the menu the last time we were there and I think that's why she wanted it this time ... just in case it's gone the next time we go!

Coral Reef looks amazing, I have never eaten there! Everything you guys had looks so good though, now I kind of want to make an ADR there for November! I know my DH would love that lobster mac and cheese, he loves anything with lobster!

That lobster mac & cheese has me drooling at 8 in the morning! We have never eaten at Coral Reef, but when Paxton is older, I'd love to. I think he'd love seeing the huge fish tank! And DH and I love seafood. Plus with the way the Chocolate Wave is always raved about in your TR's, I feel like I need to try it asap!! I love a good dessert.

Okay, so I'm like a month late, but I'm here! What an amazing (and laid-back) start to your trip. Two truly awesome days at my favorite parks!

Glad to hear you had another good meal at Raglan Road, we're trying it for the first time in October. And I was also happy to see you liked Coral Reef. That place gets such mixed reviews that I'm always chickening out of booking an ADR there. But now that our home base at Disney will be Boardwalk, we may have to give Coral Reef a chance!

All the reports from the new Merida M&G have said she's lots of fun. I loved the movie, so I can't wait to meet her in a couple of months.

I'm sorry Jeff couldn't make it on the trip, but that was so awesome to take lots of pictures of the stuff he'd love. So sweet!

Can't wait to hear about the rest of the trip.
