So nice to see your pics without the crowds. I didn't even recognize the Tiki room building because whenever we have been there in March it is so crowded we can barely see anything.

We headed down to the states for some shopping and girl time!

So just to be sure. You celebrated Canada day... by leaving Canada.

Okay, I'm on the same page now.

So let's get on with this....brings us to Monday May 21 and we were heading to my second favourite park....MK!

Second fave. Would it be your fave if all of a sudden they announced you could get a GGS there?

Well, I missed it this day and hey what the heck might as well tell you now I missed it everytime we were at the MK this trip! Our need for a relaxing vacation far outweighed my need to get to the park on time for rope drop!

There seems to be a trend among the TR writers around here to take relaxing vacations. What's going on?

Where's the panic?
Where's the pandemonium?
Where's the insanity?

We headed straight down the middle of Main Street USA and once we hit the turn off to Adventureland I grabbed this little shot of my beloved castle

Ya know. I've teased you before about you calling it "your" castle. But not anymore. I moved forward from your vantage point so the tree wouldn't cut off the top, and, well.... All I can say is: I'm sorry I doubted you.

and then I got the face...you know the one, you`ve seen if before! The ``really mom, I need to get to SM as soon as my legs will take me there`face.

Ah, yes. I know that face. That's a face you do not want to mess with!

So what`s a mother to do....
get her to stop and take a picture of me...

I've said it before, I'll say it again. The only reason to have kids, is to torment them. That's what they're for.

My boyfriend would have to wait....

As you can see the crowds were non-existent this morning....or somewhere else in the park

As you can see the 5 minutes wait time that was posted turned into the time it took us to walk on the ride

Haunted Mansion, how I miss the days of taunting Shanleigh on this ride...my oldest niece won`t ride with me because I scared her the last time...so now we just enjoy

I thought it was a great idea while we were there until we got home and we both started saying "we didn't do this and we didn't do that"...didn't seem that good once that started

Have a power cut atm and didn't manage to read your update before it happened so thought I'd read it on my phone

I can't see the pics too clearly so will have a look at them later but ugghh at missing the opening parade by a few mins. At least you managed to relax though and not rush.

Yay on Shanleigh (still tempted to write Jasmine!) getting to SM and the crowds being elsewhere. Hope you got to visit your boyfriend later on in the day and yay on getting the classic shot on the people mover.

I totally know what you mean about the opening show. Last trip, we were all set to make it with plenty of time to spare...when the monorail had to stop forrrrrevvvvvverrrrrrrr. We missed it. We were flat out late one day, then got sick one day, then caught the very tail end of it another. This opening show-lover was UPSET. I would have been less upset if we had been totally late, but missing it by mere minutes was so frustrating!

Ahhh...LOVE the crowds (or lack of crowds). My favorite thing is arriving when you're pretty much the first person to walk through an area. We have only gone in September (our favorite) and May, so we pretty much get that relaxing feeling each trip!

Looking forward to more MK!

I didn't get to see my boyrfriend that day....and I was very sad....but we had fun anyways Shanleigh had been so amazing the day before letting me do whatever I wanted at WS that I just had to suck it up and do the rides she wanted to do.

I hear ya girl! I was so bummed and I did let it affect me for a part of the mornign because it really is my favorite part of the day...it gets me going

We went in Oct 2000 and I have a picture of me smack dad in the middle of Main Street and there is no one around! It was a beautiful thing! I have to agree, if we could go in September, we would. I loved it!

I'm joining in! Wow, I couldn't even imagine staying at Disney for two weeks! We usually so two trips for 8 days a year so maybe one year we will just combine them. That could be fun! Lovely pictures from EPCOT's flower and garden festival. I hope to one day make a trip during that time!

It's pretty amazing that's for sure! I would love to do two trips a year but the flights from Winnipeg are ridiculous so we just pack in one two week trip

I am so happy that we made it to F & G this year...it was really spectacular!
