The Gay Days party is a "hard ticket" event, and yes you will need to purchase a ticket. They were $69 before April 1st, not sure what they are now.

Not quite worth the money IMO......

The typhoon lagoon party requires a special ticket b/c it's a special event. It's not during regular operating hours. TL is only open for that party. I've never been to it so can't comment on if it's good or worth it. I'd like to go one year. Hopefully one year I will be able to go and not feel out of place next to all the buff bodies there.

Is anyone on here planning on doing any of the parties? I remember when Gay Days was so simple. Now there's so many parties. If you visit one site it has one list of parties. If you visit another site it has another list. I've never been to any of them. Was curious if anyone has and what they thought? Anyone going this year?

My partner and have been to the party @ House Of Blues on the Thursday during gay week. We went last year and had a blast. We are going this year.

Saw a couple Youtube videos on this. Looks like so much fun!! We've never been to Disney during gay days before so we are really excited.

How do you experts balance the partying and drinking at night with the miles of walking and roller coasters the next day?

Plenty of us on here you can hang out with. I'll be doing a semi-solo trip. Given how last year I didn't see my friend at all once Gay Days started I'm not counting on him at all this year.

w00t! Sounds good to me!! I really enjoyed ADH last year but would definitely like to hit some gay clubs this time, especially since I'm not into the scene here so Gay Days is my time to live the gay life. Looking forward to seeing you again this year! Are you going to teach us all the Thriller dance??

I never do too much partying there. The main thing for me is the parks. But I do like to go out some. One reason I like making a full week of it is I can do the parks earlier in the week. That way for Gay Days weekend I don't have to worry about getting on the attractions and stuff. I can just wonder around and enjoy the atmosphere. I'm also pretty good at functioning on little sleep if needed. Only got 4 hours last night. If you try to do everything in the parks and the parties, you'll be a zombie by the end of the weekend. I remember a couple years ago my friend was going to the parties for the first time (private parties, not the gay days ones). He called me to say he was just getting into Epcot...at like 3pm. I had already went, did the major stuff, and was on my way back to my resort for a nap by that point.
