Exactly how many/which all Disney characters are in that ride?
I was able to find:
Aladdin and Jasmin
Alice and the white rabbit
Woody and Jesse
The 3 caballeros
Lilo and Stitch
Cinderella
Mulan

If I am not mistaken, I think there is also (and I could be wrong):

Ariel and Flounder
Dory & Nemo
Timon and Pumbaa
Pinocchio
Peter Pan & Tinkerbell

Somewhere there's a similar thread in which I posted the all-inclusive list. It's around 30 characters. If I can find it, I'll post the list here.

I realized I had forgotten Bullseye and "The Carpet" in my earlier post (yes, the Carpet from Aladdin is also a character in IASW), so I dug up a blurb about IASW somewhere online, and apparently there is also:

Jiminy Cricket
Abu
Mushu
Simba

Plus: Bullseye and The Carpet!

But the little news items I dug up hinted to other characters by saying that there are "others well camouflaged."

Who are we missing that is well camouflaged? Is Rafiki in it? I can't recall? I know someone is missing!

Found the other thread. Here's the full list:

Alice
White Rabbit
Ariel
Flounder
Mowgli
Baloo
Jessie
Woody
Bullseye
3 Caballeros
Simba
Pumbaa
Timon
Aladdin
Jasmine
Flying Carpet
Abu
Pinocchio
Wendy
Peter Pan
Marie
Mulan
Mushu
Lilo
Stitch
Cinderella
Jaq
Gus
Nemo
Dory.

I've never heard that Jiminy is in there. Did they have a pic? Would love to know where he is.

We've got 28 now in this thread - I am counting the Three Caballeros individually - so we are missing a couple. I remember the list to which you are referring. I was thinking it was something like 29 - 31 characters. So we are missing anywhere from 1 - 3 characters, I think.

Okay, so Wendy, Mowgli, Marie, Baloo (who I did not see in the ride), Gus and Jaq were the ones who I overlooked above. I must have looked right past Baloo, which is funny because he is a tall and big character so you would assume I would see him right away!! LOL!

Wish I had this last week when I was there. probably will never get back out there. We are more of WDW familiy.

But we so enjoyed your 20 minute wait times (or less)! That is unheard of when we go to Florida!

I remember seeing Jiminy right about Pinochio in an archway. I remember pointing him out to DH and DD on our list time through 3 weeks ago. He is very small and holding an umbrella.

Wendy, Mowgli, Baloo, and Marie are not in DL's Small World, they appear in Hong Kong DL's version.

Here's Jiminy, upper right hand corner...hehe, yeah he's pretty tiny up there!

Thanks for clarifying that. I was just about to ask where they were because i had never seen them.

Okay, so I didn't overlook Baloo - he's just not in our DL version! Funny - I remember seeing Jiminy in the ride now that I look at the photo above, and he is tiny, so I was wondering how in the heck I saw him but had overlooked big, honkin' Baloo!!:rotfl2::rotfl2:

In any case, some of the characters are definitely a bit harder to spot than others, and most of them don't look like you would expect them to, even in 'doll form.' When I pointed out Mulan and Cinderella to my friends, they started at them with a confused look on their faces, because the overall style is not what they are used to seeing attached to those characters in their regular Disney versions. So I would imagine it can throw some folks off here and there. Pumbaa doesn't look exactly like Pumbaa, but you can basically tell that's who it is.

oh yes now i remember seeing Pinocchio, simba, timon and pumba and the little mermaid.

Interesting! I never knew there were Disney characters in IASW. I typically avoid this ride, but I think I will check it out next month just to see how many characters I can find.

Crush is represented in painting form next to dory and nemo. The hyenas from lion king are also there ; a CM from IASW told us after I
asked and I saw mowgli today. Mowgli is right after ariel and before the hula dancers. I have pics and will
post when I get home to a computer :goodvibes
