All caught up! We spent 8/30 at Epcot too! Reading your TR I am reminded of how truly rainy it really was that first day

Please, LL, forgive me hijack! I just had to interject briefly...

Philadisney...am I hallucinating, or were you on What Not to Wear? I know I read a thread a while back about a DISer being on. As LL and I are friends, I read her trip report, and even though your face is partially hidden in that photo, I said to DH, hey, isn't that the one who was on What Not to Wear?

I received my Disney PhotoPass CD in the mail yesterday. I was really shocked it got here so quickly, I only ordered it on Monday.

For your viewing pleasure I have included the pictures from our first day so that we can get caught up with what we have covered so far. I am hoping to do the next installment either tonight or tomorrow.

I was pleasantly suprised when I viewed these as I didn't realize they had positioned us so they could catch the monorail in the background!

We bought them at Target. Woo hoo for 99 cent ponchos!! They were pretty much trashed by the time we got back to Pop though. I was happy because mine covered up Vera quite nicely.

You can't beat them for 99 cents! Disney Depression is in full swing today as we showed my parents all of our pictures today. Sigh. I looked at DH wistfully and wondered why I had agreed to cancel 2009. Oh well, I know it's the smart thing to do!

Sorry everyone is suffering from the blahs and blechs today gang---hang in there!!! I have been wistfully dreaming about WDW all day too!!! Huh, something must be going around?!?!?!?!??!!?

Poor Meggie Moo has caught a fall cold---runny nose, scratchy/sore throat, watery eyes, etc. So we have couch bounded her, and have prepared for a night of snuggling, junk food, and movie watching as we prepare for the thunderstorms that are heading our way!!!

Thanks again LL for giving us a WDW niblet to chew on today!!! Here's a big hug and wish that everyone's weekends turn around!!!!

LL, we too got a handicapped room at Pop our first year and switched rooms. I couldn't handle the bathroom, too much like a dorm shower. I felt like I needed to wear flip-flops in it! This year we got a king bed and made sure it was a regular room. We stayed at CSR, so whoever is going there soon with a kind bed ressie, there are regular rooms available!

I cannot believe you took so many pics! I can't wait to see more! You guys are too darn cute! Love the Poly pic. We also ate at Kona cafe. Man, it was noisy in there! Can't wait for the next update!

Even though our Pop bed was pretty comfy, I didn't sleep well at all. It took me a long time to fall asleep and I couldn't stay asleep. I think it was my excitement for Magic Kingdom. At home, DH and I sleep on a tempurpedic mattress, when one of us rolls over the other doesn't feel it. DH rolled over at one point and I thought I was on a Deadliest Catch boat, I am just not used to that anymore!

I was awake before our wake up call went off but noticed that it was about 10 minutes later than it should have been. Hmmm. Very curious.

We were at the MK bus stop by 7AM for our 8:05AM Crystal Palace breakfast. As we got on, the bus the driver asked us where we were headed. As we started to pull away, he let us know that we would be stopping at WL, Poly, Grand Floridian and Contemporary. Apparently this first bus helps get people to their breakfast ADR's...?? I never read about that so I am not sure if it's a normal thing or if this guy was being super nice? It was really nice to get a preview of WL, DH and I both got very very excited!

There was a bit of a line but we were let right in after about a 2 minute wait. They had a sign for Breakfast reservations and even though I was told I would be asked for my Confirmation #, no one did.

Ahhhh. Glorious Main Street. LL has reached her happy place!

A very nice lady offered to take our picture since no Photopass people were out yet.

I dragged my feet up Main Street, just soaking it all in. Getting just a tid bit teary because I had made it to Disney with my DH.

I took about a bazillion pictures along the way. DH saying, let's go. Let's go check in. I was at the point where I could spend the hour until park opening taking pictures.

I was in picture heaven. I am not even showing them all to you. I was going picture crazy.

All during my picture taking, DH keeps shuffling me towards Crystal Palace but I don't want to go. This is Primo, Grade A picture taking conditions! Empty Park, nice weather, a bazillion memory cards and charged camera batteries! Who needs stinkin' breakfast!?! I give DH the puppy dog eyes.....

Does DH convince me to go to Crystal Palace?
Do I run out of batteries at MK?
Who gets to open up a certain land? ( I know I posed this one last time but I didn't get to it!)

I know what you mean about the tempurpedic (sp?) mattress. I have one too and am spoiled. I went on a business trip a few weeks back and had to take a queen size mattress and was all like "what is this? The princess only sleeps on a king. "

Mmmm...sounds good. I did my a caramel chocolate candy bar at the grocery store. I can't wait to eat it!

I really loved seeing MK in the fall decorations. It was very nice but odd because of the weather. I just love our tempurpedic. So niiiiiiiice! Plus DH works overnight so I get it to myself most nights!

Last time we were there 5 years ago I wasn't Pooh sized but due to medications I'm been on during that time I have gained alot and it is nice to know that I will still be able to enjoy the rides. Thank you.

Thank you so much! Thanks for joining in! Like I said before, DH was really worried but we had a great time.
The turnstiles at some of the older rides were the bigger problem (haunted mansion, the train and it's a small world). But on some of them, he was able to either go sideways or ask to go in the handicapped entrance and the CM's are very discreet so it's nice.
