It's a Jolly Holiday with LL. *FINISHED* Final Update on pg. 58.

I loooove the new 'do! The color is very pretty as are you! Great pic! I also plan on doing some laminated cards with our ADR's, CS meals, and snacks I want to try on them, but what you did is far more than I would've ever thought of. :worship: :worship: :worship: I'm not worthy! I'm not worthy! Yay for 16 days! We have 21 left.   Although that is not soon enough!

I love your haircut and colour it looks so nice :thumbsup2

And I am completely in awe of your cards :worship:
Thank you very much. I am quite proud of my cards. :goodvibes

You look great, LL! And you've got MAD laminating skills. (I have the urge to laminate EVERYTHING.)
I have an obsession with lamination. I think it's because when I was younger my Dad would have things laminated for work and I thought it was super cool.

LL, I love the hair! Very cute. Looks like it will work wonderfully for Disney!
I hope it will work. You will see first hand in a few weeks!

You hair looks cute! Thanks to your DH for taking the pictures.
I was very proud of him for taking the pictures. I have been giving him camera lessons because he is completely clueless with the new camera.

Thanks so much! I am really liking my hair. I loved your ticker so much that I had to go to the website and change mine!! :rotfl2:

Your hair looks great! I wish I could get my cards to look as good as yours and all to fit in that space. Yours are fabulous and that picture frame is really cool. I will be looking for something similar to that on my trip. I love the old movie posters too!

Really cute haircut! I'm glad you treated yourself. Now you'll be like Mary Poppins - practically perfect in every way- for your photopass photos! :) 15 days... where has the time gone? I'm excited for you! Also love your laminated cards... especially the one where the itinerary says "do whatever L wants..woo-hoo!" :thumbsup2

The only reason I changed it was because it mysteriously disappeared along with my avatar a couple of days ago. I think that magicalkingdoms site is done now too as I've seen a lot of broken links with peoples tickers. The only thing is it looks like our trip is far away again! :scared1: I love the one you chose! They don't have tons on that site, but they are different than what you see most of the time.

Thank you so much! It took a lot of finagling to get my itineraries to fit in that small space. But I used size 10 font and just made my margins 4x6. It worked a lot easier than I thought but still took a bit of patience. I also didn't list the Mega Wish List for each Park on each day that we visited. I put it on the first day, thinking that I will have all the cards to glance at on each day.
I really love the old movie posters, I am hoping to buy...or two....or a dozen while I am down there.

I mean, what would Mary Poppins say if she could see my roots! :scared1:
On the itinerary cards, I totally refer to myself as LL and DH as DH. :lmao: I was showing my cubicle mate at work and she's like I know what LL is but DH? :rotfl:

Love the new haircut!!!

Two weeks, LL! TWO WEEKS!!!
Thank you so much! Can you believe it??!! Only TWO WEEKS. I am so excited that I can barely contain myself. Exactly two weeks from now I will be jumping up and down in my plane seat because we will be very close to landing!

I almost didn't change it but I figured I would, because then the ticker would move pretty fast. :lmao:

I have again enlisted the help of DH. I asked him to make me a list of the Top Five things he doesn't want to miss in each park, I myself also made a list. We are sticking to attractions, rides, parades and other shows. No food must haves or ADR's. I haven't seen DH's list before typing my list, this is so we weren't influenced by each other. After I type mine, I am going to ask for his and then type it underneath mine each of my Top Five lists. I am very interested to see how we differ and how we are the same. I am trying to keep myself to only Five things I don't want to miss in each park, because I am trying to avoid those park commando moments.

*As I wait for DH to finish his list, I have to tell you about the AWFUL dream I had last night. We completely missed September 2nd on our trip. Also known as Animal Kingdom day. Apparently DH & I slept through the whole day in our dream. It was awful and for some reason we couldn't get to Animal Kingdom for the rest of the trip. Was I glad when I woke up and realized it was a horrible horrible dream!

It was hardest for me to pick the Magic Kingdom Top Five, because I have like 50 things I really want to do there. The other hard one was Animal Kingdom because I didn't have five things I absolutely have to do. DH just informed me that it was hardest for him to pick five at the Animal Kingdom, good thing I only planned half a day there! I told him I didn't want to go on Dinosaur because it's so jerky and he said, "Have you been on it before?" I said yes and then he said, "Ride it again." Thanks Honey.

I think we have got a pretty decent mix of things. I was suprised he wanted to see the Swiss Family Tree House, he explained that the trip he took before was just for rides that they didn't spend time exploring things like the Tree House. I think we both have the same objective, to take time to see those things you don't always take the time to appreciate. :goodvibes

I agree! And you two do have a good amount of overlapping in your top 5's.

That was a smart idea, to come up with your lists separately so you're not influenced by each other. Now you can work out how to prioritize and feel confident that there won't be any buried resentment.

Once again the DIS has taken away my ability to click in smileys. So I'll just do a few I remember.

 :yay:

And I wouldn't place any stock in that dream. I don't think you two will manage to sleep away an entire day while at Disney!

I think we have a great balance of Top 5's plus some additional flavor.

Goodness no! There is no way I could sleep through a whole day at Disney.. I have noticed it is starting to take me longer to fall asleep at night because I start thinking about Disney! :yay:

I had an okay time at the Red Sox game. Getting into the city was easier than normal. We met BIL and FSIL, we ate at one of the bars near Fenway. Typical bar food but it was nice chatting with BIL and FSIL. I had to fill in FSIL on some MIL drama that has happened over the last few weeks, always nice to be able to vent to her.

Then we went to the game. We had GREAT seats. My seat was literally lined right up with home plate. I don't know what section because I can't find my ticket now. Ugh. I will try to explain it. DH is being no help. We were underneath the overhang, which turned out to be great since it had a 5 or 10 minute rain shower during the game. I was lined up on the red sox dugout side, basically with the third base foul line. I think that's it. So I was super close and got some great pictures. We had issues getting the right train back to Riverside but that was our own fault and lack of proper signage. All I kept thinking as I was holding on for dear life is that this is so not the monorail. I also could see my reflection in the train windows and I need to come up with something for my swoopy bangs. They don't hold up well to sweat and heat. They looked awful. I think I might have to pin them on the side or something for Disney. I can't have my photopass pictures have icky bangs in them!

Here are some pictures. The first one is a stitch assist picture. It's an awesome feature on my computer. Basically I take pictures in a panoramic style. I took six pictures of the park from my seat, when you take them you have to overlap them a bit. I wanted to try this out so I could figure it out for Disney. When you upload the pictures you can move them to the stitch assist program and the merge the photos for you...PERFECTALLY! That was six pictures I took merged into the panoramic. I really like it. Though I can't make it bigger for you. Sorry!

Here are some more pictures. Notice all the Jason Varitek pictures....mmmm. He's my favorite.

I used the Sports/Action setting on my camera. It took the pictures a lot faster and had no preview after you took the picture. I think this setting will work well for Parades and fast moving action. I wish I had the chance to fool around with the night setting but the park was too bright for that. I think I might try to go out at night and take some pics over the next weeks.

DH & I watched the Disneyland special on the travel channel this afternoon. I really want to go there. I was talking to DH and he agreed that we should try for a Disneyland trip for our 5th year anniversary! Sounds good to me. :thumbsup2 I then said, Disneyland Paris for our 10th. He rolled his eyes. :lmao:

Oh and 2 weeks from right now, I will be snuggled into my bed at Pop Century dreaming of my first view of Main Street USA and Cinderella's Castle. :cloud9:

Yay! 2 weeks!  And your seats were in the grandstand section at Fenway. Great pics! The last game we went to was a couple of weeks ago and we were in the monster seats and it rained on and off throughout the game and guess who didn't bring a hat or umbrella??? Yeah, it was chilly, but the game was awesome! It was the second game that Jason Bay played in and he hit a homer into the monster seats! Anyways, I was actually thinking the other day that next year the four of us should see a game together! And Princesskeyblade too! It could be a DIS/FENWAY meet! :thumbsup2

I  baseball games -- I may have to go to a Braves game now after reading your installment!

Hurray for two weeks!!! Just two more work Mondays!!!

Thanks for all the pics of my "boyfriends" assetts!!! (I swear, I had nothing to do with the breakup of his marriage!!! :lmao: )

I actually thought of you at the game because a couple of weeks ago you were talking about doing the Braves tomahawk chant thingy when we were talking about the red sox.

When I learned that he had filed for divorce, I looked at DH and told him that I may need to rethink this whole thing, pointing to the both of us. He didn't look amused. :lmao:

:rotfl: That is too funny! Yes, I am a sucker for the Tomahawk chop and singing Take Me Out to the Ball Game during the seventh inning stretch! I am such a kid at heart.

This was only the third game I have been too. I love the atmosphere but the seats are so small at Fenway that it's not that enjoyable. Poor DH stood for most of the game in the standing section because he was so cramped.

Oh, I hate feeling cramped!!! Did you guys stay for the whole game?
