A cautionary tale, my dear.

Bring enough for a cab fare back to Pop. The buses on EMH nights can be absolutely ridiculous. I know you haven't been in a while, but if you will, picture this.

Pop is the absolute last bus stop at the MK. Now imagine the line from Pop, all the way to the beginning of the bus stops.

Yup. That was EMH at MK last year. We took one look and said unh huh. Hopped on the monorail, went to the Contemporary, down to the lobby, had them call a cab and we were on our merry way. Great way to spend $20 let me tell you.

I heard the next day it took some people a couple of hours to get back to Pop.

Well, I'm fairly certain you can't get a cab directly from MK. We only picked the Contemporary because it was the first stop.

I'm already blaming LL for the fact I had to run out to Walmart and buy a flexible tripod this weekend. It's not a Gorillapod, but looks to be the same thing, and I found it for only $9.99.

Very nice. I'm so glad you found shoes you love. My mom and I were having a little shoe pow-wow session yesterday. I think she's up to bringing 4 or 5 pairs. My father is convinced we are both nuts. I'm a little iffy on the fact she is bring socks to wear with her tevas just in case. Even my father said that the option should really be changing shoes. Socks and tevas just wrong.

I don't even know anymore.

Head to EPCOT/DIS Meet
We are going to head to EPCOT, where we will be meeting up with Crissy for a mini DIS meet. I am very excited to meet one of my LapuLapuettes in person! I think the plan is for Crissy to meet us at EPCOT, maybe take in a ride or two together or maybe even a drink!

I can't wait either. I feel like I know you so much already from the boards. I can't wait to put a person with the posts that make me laugh. Of course it's only going to make me want to meet everyone else.

Monday September 1st:

Sleep In
I plan for us to sleep in until 9AM. I know some of you probably won't think that is sleeping in but this is Disney, people and I am NOT sleeping in past 9AM. I won't do it. Not gonna happen. The only reason I have sleeping in on the schedule is because we will probably be at Magic Kingdom pretty late the night before. Sleepy DH = Cranky DH and I don't want that.

EPCOT
The plan is to hit any Future World attractions that we missed on our first EPCOT day. I also want to try to get the photopass picture that has Stitch eating an ice cream on a bench. I think it's cute and EPCOT is the place to get it. Seems like a good morning for it.

Coral Reef @ 11:30AM - 1 TS Each
I am super duper excited for this ADR. I wasn't able to reserve the diver but Coral Reef will be doing the personalized menu for DH. I can't believe I have kept it a secret. I have almost slipped a few times but luckily the brain engaged and I didn't ruin the surprise. I think I came up with a pretty good message too. I am going to save sharing that until I have the special t-shirts made up that I want us to wear on this day. (Ha! That's for you CP! Not that I am bitter or anything. )

Explore World Showcase
This is a bit iffy in my mind. I am thinking after lunch we will probably just head back to the resort, but if we are feeling up to it that's what we we'll do. Another thought in my head is to maybe head to Downtown Disney for a bit. Who knows.

Swim/Nap @ Pop
I am thinking if we don't sleep in as late as DH hopes, this will be the perfect time for him to nap and for me to lounge about.

Hollywood Studios
DHS is a very close second in my book to Magic Kingdom. I adore the old Hollywood feel and just feel very peaceful at DHS. I like my first ride to be The Great Movie Ride so I am hoping when we get there the line won't be awful. I am not planning on too many rides this night, I want to soak up the atmosphere and take a lot of pictures.

Dinner - CS OOP
I am not quite sure where we will be eating. I want to surf the Allears menus again for our Counter Service options. This meal will be paid OOP.

Fantasmic @ 10PM
This is the second showing of Fantasmic this night. It's going to be a crowded one according to TourGuide Mike but I am not scared! The second showing should be less crowded so hopefully it really will.

DHS EMH's?
The EMH's are from 10PM - 1AM. I am not sure if we will be up for another late night or not.

This is a somewhat more relaxing day for us. I am liking that, especially after the crazy Magic Kingdom planned for the day before.

I received my gorillapod in the mail today! It's awesome. I haven't really played around with it as I am still not feeling great but so far it's awesome. It's so lightweight, it's amazing!

I have been meaning to post this cartoon my Mom sent me in the mail last week. The picture isn't the greatest quality, I could only get it to be clear from the side view.

You know I was about to type that DHS is one of my favorite parks -- but I think I say that about every park -- I guess they are all my favorites for different reasons -- I do like DHS's old Hollywood feel because movies have always played such a big part in my life!

LL and anyone one else really....if you don't have a rental car, always have a cab fare budget and keep the cash with you at all times. I've had a night ruined because of Disney buses and if we would have just taken a cab it would have been saved. Every since I started carrying cab fare with me (which means I've given myself permission to spend money on a cab instead of taking a free bus) we've done it twice and had lovely and relaxing evenings because of it.

This sounds like a really nice day. I don't know if you'll be running on the adrenaline of being in Disney, but I personally would never be able to do two EMH two days in a row. I'll be really really proud of you and amazed at your prowess if you do! I guess the nap helps, right?

I highly doubt that we will be able to do two EMH's but the option is there if needed. I have a feeling we won't be in EPCOT long after our lunch at Coral Reef so maybe by the time we go to DHS we will be ready to kick park butt.
