It's a Jolly Holiday with LL. *FINISHED* Final Update on pg. 58.

Now I call her Callie Hahn!:rotfl2:
:lmao: That made me laugh OUT LOUD! Have you heard the rumor that Jeffery Dean Morgan is coming back aka DENNY!! I am so freaking excited! :yay: But with that there is a rumor that Izzie is going to have a Brain Tumor and Denny is coming back a la hallucinatons.

I don't care how that man comes back as long as I get to see and hear him! He just oozes...um...deliciousness? ;)

I would love to have Denny back -- even if he is a hallucination!

I love all your T's and the envelopes. I've been thinking of doing one of those Mary Poppins shirts too. Just too cute.

You should make a Mary Poppins one! They are just adorable. I am so excited to wear them all. The hard part will be deciding what day to wear what. :lmao:

30 DAYS UNTIL DISNEY!!!!

I am so excited!!! I can't wait to be on the plane leaving Logan. :thumbsup2

I have been having a mini freakout since last Friday aka Leslie's Payday. I was trying to figure out how to squeeze the last bit of money out for our food purchases and souvenirs and had a freak out. I was close to tears last Friday night, wondering why the heck I thought we were all set when we are cutting it so close with our budget and bills. Having to spend $500 on DH's Truck Tires didn't help matters. I am very resentful to those tires. A few days later, I resolved not to worry about the money. Somehow everything would work out A-OK, it usually does. I could cut some of the OOP meals if it came down to it, I resolved to enjoy our trip and not cause myself stress.

Today is DH's payday (we both get paid every 2 weeks but works out that we have paycheck once a week.) I was again freaking myself out about paying our bills and such. I called DH and almost jumped through the phone to strangle him when he told me he spent $28 at the grocery store on our dinner tonight. ONE MEAL = $28 is completely nuts! Especially since he spent $30 yesterday so he could make egg rolls for dinner last night. :headache: I was beyond angry at him. I was telling him how stressed I was about money and he said, "What do you have planned for my sick time?" I am like what the #^%%!!!!@@*& are you talking about? DH patiently explains to me that he is getting all of his unused sick time paid out to him this month. D'oh! :rolleyes1 I totally FORGOT that he had told me this. That's why I thought we were all set for Disney. I feel like a complete idiot to have forgotten this. I didn't write it in my budget spreadsheet because we don't know the exact total yet or what paycheck in August he is receiving the bonus. He is getting 58 hours paid out in sick time. I wish there was an Irish Jig dancing smiliey because I would have about 62 of them dancing across this post.

I am still upset about the $58 being spent at the grocery store in TWO DAYS. Granted, I am less angry because a lot of the stuff he bought will be used for more than one meal. I am going to start giving him a strict grocery budget since he enjoys doing the grocery shopping. I just didn't think I had to tell him this morning not to spend $28. Oh well. I am over it. For now. :rolleyes1

In other trip related news, I am still without proper Disney shoes. I have resigned myself to actually going out to shoe shop. Blech. I am going to look online to see if there are any Earth Shoe retailers in my area, as I want to try on a 12 to see if they would work for me. I love these adorable pink sandals and I think they would be very supportive for Disney.

If not, I am contemplating order these cuties in a size 11. I think they size 11 will fit, the only thing that doesn't work on the strappy sandals are the straps.

My sneakers are still missing in action.

They haven't even shipped yet even though I bought them with the sandals. I have emailed them to see what's going on but no response yet. I am going to see if I can find some sneaks that will work for me this weekend and return the ones from shoebuy. Gotta love free returns! :thumbsup2
Also on the trip related shopping list this weekend is Neutrogena Sunscreen and more Transfer paper for more T-Shirts!! I think once I solve the shoe problem I will be all set and not need to buy anything else except pre-purchase the photo CD.

 :dance3: :yay: :woohoo: 30 days!!! :woohoo: :yay: :dance3:

30 days! Woo hoo! :goodvibes

That is so cool about DH's sick leave being paid out to him! I just lose mine at the end of the year. :sad1:

Maybe there will be leftovers from the stuff DH bought at the grocery store, so it's not $28 on just one meal?

Keeping food costs down seems so difficult. This was my first month really budgeting my food expenditure, and I still went over what I'd budgeted by about $75.

But my credit card (I charge all my food/gas/whatever to it) is still abut $300 lower than it was last month, so I did something right!

So don't stress about the money--as you said, you can cut a couple of OOP meals if need be. Everything will be fine. It's Disney with your DH!

I really love the symmetry (spelling?) of your dancing smilies. They make the OCD perfectionist in me smile.

You are completely right about not worrying, that is what I plan to do. I love that DH's sick time gets paid out, it's a very nice perk. Mine rolls over, so at least if I ever need to use it coughcoughmaternityleavecoughcough, it will be there. :thumbsup2

I am hoping to be disciplined enough to charge all of my food and gas purchases once I get better control of my finances so that we can reap the rewards!!

Holy cow it's just a hop skip and a jump for you till you're there! I'm so excited for you!!!!!!

Thank you so much! I am getting really really excited. Only a few more days and I can call for my photo session at the Wilderness Lodge. :cool1:

"symmetry" was spelled correctly! :goodvibes

Now I feel bad about not being all symmetrical with the smilies I just put on Jen's PTR! :rotfl:

That is cool about your sick leave rolling over!

Yes, it is nice getting rewards points on my credit card. All those groceries and gas purchases (and admittedly past trip expenses and several leisure books) will have paid for a round-class ticket!

Or maybe a KitchenAid stand mixer.

Sometimes I surprise even myself with my spelling. Ha!

We accrue something like 10 or 11 sick days a year. We are allowed to use two of those days as Personal Days. Our sick time can also be used for doctor's appointments and anything medical related, so it's not too bad.

You really want that mixer don't you?
