It's a Jolly Holiday with LL. *FINISHED* Final Update on pg. 58.

I love the idea of a Lapu Lapu fest 2009. It may be the perfect time for the solo trip I've always wanted to take. Just a nice long weekend for myself!

Thats what we will do, is for a long weekend. But I think I am bringing the DBF...

But I think we need T-Shirts!:thumbsup2

Of course!!! What was I thinking??

I just have this image of them following us as we rush into MK shaking their heads and following behind us... :goodvibes

Disney quest? The movies? Maybe they will let us send them on the pirate cruise for kids. :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl:

You know... It may be good to keep them around to take the pictures that all of us want to be in... then we can send them off to go on space mountian or something...

Good point....though I don't know if they will want to be seen with us in our tshirts! :rotfl:

We will make ones for them.. different ones. Maybe theirs could just have a pinapple on the front and on the back it says

"I told her we could go to Lapu Lapu Fabby Fest 09 and all I got was this T-Shirt!"

So, my WOH/MOH called. Ugh. Of course she had this huge sob story prepared and went on and on about she would do anything for me but she doesn't have any money, yada yada yada. :furious:
Of course I was too wimpy to tell how I really feel. It's a huge flaw of mine. :::Sigh::: It just wasn't worth it because than I would have to deal with all the drama tomorrow. She wasn't even planning on paying for my meal! Whatever. I did tell her that she wouldn't be spending the night before the wedding so that makes me feel better. I am just going to enjoy the spa tomorrow and try not to worry about anything.

I was right...Witchling is being cheap...can't wait to hear what spa treatments she gets for herself. Enjoy your day no matter what. And just tell yourself that if it royally sucks then you give yourself premission to treat yourself to a spa day sometime in the future at Disney!

She is getting a swedish massage, facial and spa pedicure. Uh huh. You read that right. ::yes::

I do plan on enjoying tomorrow. Maybe I will treat myself to something on the cruise, it will be reward for not strangling her. :lmao:

I once got a massage and a mini facial on a cruise (the ship's spa)...it was nice but for the money I spent I could have gotten twice as much in services on land. In Costa Maya I got a massage on the beach by a local for something like $25! It was heaven....and I mean ON THE BEACH...the table was on the sand. So cool.
What ports are you going to on the cruise and have you cruised before? I've been on Royal Caribbean 4 times.

Boy I miss a lot when I'm not home during the day.

Just wanted to pop in and say hi! I'm exhausted...long day...but I had to chime in real quick, along the vein of enjoying your wedding day.

Let me tell you girlie, I feel the stress your going through. I didn't have the same issues, mine was that DH's parents divorce had just been finalized a couple of weeks beforehand. It took four years and was not amicable. There was a lot of carp that went down during my rehearsal dinner and the actual day with my MIL.

I ignored it.

I was the bride.

It was my day.

Repeat after me. "I am the bride, it is my day."

Whenever people start to walk all over you or try to feed you a line of bull you know to be so, repeat after me, "I am the bride, it is my day."

A lot of people on my side said I handled my wedding day with grace and dignity. I like to call it purposeful ignorance. What I saw, I ignored, what I didn't see, didn't exist until people told me after my honeymoon.

On that day, I only had eyes for my husband. I danced all night, and they literally would have to pull me off the dance floor for pictures or when people were leaving. We had so much fun, my parents paid to stay an extra hour. We were party animals. ::yes::

It was one of the best days of my life, right next to our son being born.

I want that for you.

Repeat after me, "I am the bride, it is my day."

And if you're feeling generous, "I love DH, it is our day.";)

I am sorry about the Cheapling Witchling!!! :headache:

Enjoy your day tomorrow no matter what -- pretend WOH isn't even there! I will be thinking of you as I drive that LOOOONNNNGGGG stretch between Macon and the Florida state line!
