Day 6. Part 3.
I am on a roll so I am going to keep on going.
We last left off at the end of The American Adventure. I felt like we had to get our move on since we had taken such long detours waiting for Belle, the hissy fit and The American Adventure. We took off for Italy.
Now I had a must do for Italy. I must get a picture in front of the fountain. I was also really looking forward to Italy because my brother went awhile back, and the pictures were gorgeous and he had a great time. Also because Marc is half Italian and I was happy that we could explore the Italy pavilion together. You know?
Maybe it was because I had built it up so much in mind but I felt just "meh" about Italy. I wasn't very impressed. The pavilion was beautiful but I guess it just wasn't my thing. It was neither of ours favorite pavilion. We'll get to our favorites list at the end of the TR, but safe to say Italy doesn't make it.
The detail is amazing!
I especially enjoy this photo. I think some of my favorite light fixture pictures are the ones that also show the detail around them.
Marc went to get some gelato and I went to find a comfy bench. It was very very breezy in WS this day. I was almost getting cold out the wind was so fierce.
I found a bench near this guy, who I enjoyed quite a bit. I started singing Dominic the Donkey in my head.
While I was waiting for Marc, a photopass photographer was in the area. We had seen this particular lady a few times throughout the day. It looked like she settled in Italy to do some pictures. She took a photo of a couple trying to pull the donkey. I don't know if it was her idea or theirs but I was greatly amused by the idea.
Marc came back with the gelato. I did not care for it. Marc loved it.
After Marc finished his gelato, we went over to the photopass lady. She took some really great pictures of us. She also took a few with our camera. I really liked her. She was a lot of fun and you could tell she really loved her job. I think when I move to Orlando that I should become a photopass photographer.
I was starting to get a little worried it was going to rain!
I should have asked to do the Donkey shot. Oh well.
Next up was Germany. I was losing steam. I was tired but I was determined to get through all of WS. I think on a WS showcase day it would be very beneficial for Marc and I to have a lunch ADR so that we could unwind and relax a bit. Get a second wind, if you will.
Look at all the lights in the miniature train display!
