It's a Great Big Beautiful Trip Report

Woohoo! Thanks julezdisney!

I got a very happy call from V&A's confirming my dinner there on Wednesday. It made me feel like I was there already!

I had a long day today finishing my tree and wrapping gifts and doing a little bit of packing so wasn't able to get to another installment. I'm sad that I won't be able to post any more days for this trip until I get back. The holidays will also slow things down a little, but I'll be finishing September and probably simultaneously starting the December report.

I appreciate everyone reading and joining in! With any luck I'll also know when my 2009 trip is by the time the December TR is underway. :rolleyes1

Woo Hoo! We've got not 1, not 2, but 3 Mickey Marcettes going to the 'World over the next 7 days! YYYAAAAHHOOOO!

It's almost like I'm THERE!

Have fun!

I don't know when you're leaving, so I'll just say, "Happy Flight!" and I will see you there!!

Have a safe trip and I hope to see you while I'm there. :goodvibes

Thanks everybody for the good trip wishes! Twinkling lights and popcorn smell here I come, and I'll look
forward to bringing you along when I get back.
Have warm holiday times!

Welcome Home!!

It was great to see you again!

I'm so glad we were there at the same time again! I looked at all my pictures on the way home and the pictures of our Le Cellier lunch were much more satisfying than the actual Starbucks sandwich I had for dinner on the plane.

I lost 50 degrees and gained inches of snow when I got back. I went to work at 7 this morning but did get to come home early so I could get to the top of my hill before the ice set in. It was nice to have a chance to unpack and do laundry and start catching up on mail, but I'd settle for no snow and more work...

I see you have your next ticker going - yaaay!

I booked bounceback for September. It helps so much with the re-entry to have a reservation in hand!

Welcome back, Circusgirl! Meeting you was one of the highlights of our trip! :goodvibes Hope the crowds didn't get you down, and that you had a blast. Can't wait to keep reading about your adventures!

Welcome home Circusgirl, can't wait to read all about your wonderful trip!:woohoo:

Thanks TigerKat! It was an amazing wonderful time, most especially getting to meet so many incredible friends who felt like old friends even though we were meeting for the first time. I'm excited about the TR - it will be super fun to relive the experience and share the pictures.

I loved reading your first trip report installment. It really helped with the let down moment of that first day of being back. I'm looking forward to hearing all about your trip as well!

Welcome back!

Woo Hoo on booking the Sept trip!

can't wait for your TRs (this one to continue and the other to start!)

Welcome back, Heather! I haven't really been DISing for a few days and I missed your re-entry!

Welcome back, Heather! I haven't really been DISing for a few days and I missed your re-entry!

Thanks you guys! I'm snowed in today (we had 3 inches, followed by temperatures in the teens and twenties and then 6 inches last night with more coming down now, all very unusual for Seattle) so if I finish my wrapping and cards I may be able to start on some installments. The snow thing here is crazy because they don't sand or salt or plow most of the roads. I live on the top of the highest hill in Seattle so it can be challenging to get down. Usually it all melts within a day or two but this time we're participating in the winter wonderland portion of the Christmas songs in a big way! I'm looking out into my street and there are people pulling their kids in sleds, kids building snowmen and dogs frisking in the street. Let it snow, indeed!
