Itinerary for December?

We will be there 12-18 is it necessary to use an itinerary, or will it not be that crowded? I have the UG day rating which is mostly a 4, but I was wondering what everyone else has experienced.

You've picked a great time! The crowds should be light but we always get one ADR per day anyway so we know we can get a nice sit down dinner.
Other than that just enjoy... you can't see it all in one trip, so just relax & enjoy what you see!

I'll be there the same time and we're using the plans. I'm hoping we won't need them but since my kids are 4 and 5 I really want to minimize line time. plus we have daredevils who can't wait for TOT and space mtn. and yet they'll still probably need naps so our days will be a little shorter.
