It's getting soooo close :Pinkbounc

Time to re-think the plan of attack!....we are in mouse world for 10 days, so after much humming and argging we have dropped the universal parks....I know! we'll miss stuff but due to budget etc. (and we are not hiring a car)....we can live with this......(just!!)

OK...here goes:

Day 1 - arrive @ POFQ....we plan to chill and maybe hit DTD (depends on how tired we are!)

Day 2 - MK - this will be a Friday and is listed as an early entry day! also have Chef Mickey's booked @ 5pm....then back to watch "wishes" (may miss wishes and catch later in the week.....)

Day 3 - Animal Kingdom - Saturday - another early entry day :)

Day 4 - CHILL!!!....ok, I may hit some shopping malls to stock up on clothes for the crusie :)

Day 5 - Epcot

Day 6 - MGM - early entry again :)

Day 7 - another chill day.....or whatever

Day 8 - Seaworld - hopefully Millie will love the Dolhins and want to swim with them....if not, day 10 looks eventful

Day 9 - MILLIE'S BIRTHDAY :)... so it has to be magic kingdom....up early and breakfast with Cindy....aim to take a break during the day.....Dinner @ 1900 GF for 5pm......then back to watch Wishes @ 9pm (this is why I may miss wishes on day 1.......)

Day 10 - Discovery Cove - swim with the dolphins!!!!! another birthday suprise....(I am thinking about booking the luau @ seaworld for an evening meal)

Days 11 - 14......All aboard the Wonder :cloud9:

Question for you seasoned pros....

1. We have 5 day hoppers and I really would like to catch Spectromagic BUT....it is listed as being on on our first night there or when we plan to be @ epcot or when day 10, when we are at discovery cove. I would love to do spectromagic on out first night - can we buy discounted tickets to get into the park late to see this??

Oh - and is Disney quest worth the $$??

The plan is pretty fluid and though building in 2 rest days would be wise......we can always change our minds

Would love your views.

Thanks

Laura

I think you could upgrade your 5 day passes for 6 or 7, but it's going to cost you.

As it's going to be quiet you will be able to do all the rides with minimal or non exisitant queues.

On Day 3 AK closes fairly early, you can do it all especially if you've used your early entry. I'd take the opportunity to do Epcost, or some of Epcot in the evening. This will allow you to skip out of Epcot on Day 5 to monorail (thus saving your legs for a while) to the MK for Spectromagic and maybe monorail back to Epcot when it's finished.

The rest of your plan looks packed with fun things, good use of early entry and some lovely surprises.

I love videogames, I wouldn't pay for Disney Quest, it's way over priced. As part of another ticket, fine, but it would be a squeeze to fit it in and do it justice.

On Day 4 (Sunday) I'd consider doing the House of Blues Gospel Brunch, great food and excellent show/atmosphere.

Have a great time....

Have you looked at the new EMH info See Here Can you use any of the evening Extra Magic Hours to your benefit?

If your ticket doesn't include DQ - i would skip it this time as you have enough covered during your stay.

Have you any other PS's planned? as during your rest day's you could have a character meal at one of the other resorts if you wanted to.

Are you getting the Lynx bus to Seaworld or a shuttle?

I won't be far behind you sorting out our itinerary :teeth:

Hi Laura,

You can see Wishes from the balcony of the Contemporary Hotel after you have eaten at Chef Mickey's. Obviously, it is not as good as being in the park but you do get a good view and it would be easy to tag that on after you have eaten.

Thanks for the quick replies guys :)

2points suggestion was good - hit AK early then over to Epcot to do the some of the world showcase and Illuminations....then on our Epcot day we can leave eralier and head back to MK for Spectromagic.....that's if we have enough energy!!!!
