items vanish?

not sure if this has happened to anyone eles but im freaked out!

I bought two yellow dreses the day they came out... then that night i bought another full set just to have a extra. Now when the pink dresses came out, I bought three full sets again for the pink.

Now last night a girl wanted a pink dress and offered me a pirate couch (yea!) so we went to her room and i gave her a full dress with crown. After the trade I went to my room to place the couch somwere... as I did I went over to my clothes just looking and had only one pink dress set left. I also only had two yellow sets left. I hadnt traded anything but the pink one.

So is it possible my dresses vanished? are we allowed to only carry so many clothe items?

Also my friend silverdoodles belived she bought more crowns then she has now... she thought she bought 15 but is missing four of them.

I havnt wrote to VMK yet... i wanted to see if this is happening to anyone eles first.

I bought 2 of the Hong Kong Disneyland pins the first time they came out - for an hour. My credits were reduced by the appropriate amount. I logged out & back in trying to be sure it wasn't something stupid. Still not there.

So I wrote to the black hole. They answered & said that they had been returned to my account. However, they still weren't there. I wrote again - "case closed - resubmit". OK wrote again - no answer. I've probably written to the 4 or 5 times and have yet to get either the credits or the pins. (Someone has since gifted me with one so I have the pin - just not the ones I bought.)

It has also happened several other times when VMK said they put something in my account after a couple of their problematic events. Same results - they say they're there, but they aren't actually.

So yeah - it does happen...just don't hold your breath waiting for a response or resolution. Sorry

Sometimes I think mine or my kids credits change, or either I'm so busy building up so many characters credit that I'm just not keeping count very well. Also I thought I bought a divers helmet but can't find it in my inventory. It is frustrating but I don't guess there is anything I can do.

Write to them! Seriously - just because I haven't had success doing so doesn't mean that others haven't. I'm sorry I was so pessimistic earlier. That wasn't very nice.

I would've sworn that when the Halloween stuff came out, that I bought two Chernobog rugs for my ds. But, I can only find one now. I don't know if it simply disappeared, or maybe somehow that I sold it when I was selling back diver's suits. I haven't written the VMK people though, going on the possiblity that 'old age' is setting in.

My Theory -

Winter is just around the corner and Chip and Dale are busy gathering items.
They have enough nuts, and are now going around VMK collecting other items to decorate their house for the long winter ahead.

Don't know about the princess dresses or crowns, though.
Maybe they are expecting some company?

I think you should write to them again too. Be very specific about what the problem is. If you still have the email from the original response where they said the items were returned, copy the text and paste it into the contact us form as a reference. I have found that you can't reply with any luck to those emails unless they have specifically told you to reply. But in general, I've had good luck getting things like that resolved.

Well I wrote to them this morning about my missing costumes.. hopfully they will do somthing. Ive bought more, so i have them now even if they never reply back.

I had a Green Explorer jacket disappear from one of my mules right after I bought it, went to trade it to my hoarde mule and it was gone... oh well....

Ok - I purchased a dress and it disappeared last night. I just gave up hope. Would you believe it showed up tonight? I actually sold some of my clothes and then it showed up. Maybe we just have too much clothes. Just a thought.

A few months ago when vmk first opened, I bought the water trough. Then it vanished one day.

For about 2 months it was gone. Then suddenly I have it back.
