Italian Food

That depends on what you consider "good Italian food". If you like Southern Italian cusine, come from an Italian family, and don't usually find what you consider good Italian food when you go out to dinner, then you will not find it in WDW. If you consider Olive Garden or similar restaurants to be your ideal, then you may find what you're looking for in EPCOT, Tony's in MK, or Mama Melroses in the Studios. Your best shot will be in the Italy pavillion of EPCOT.

il Mulino

again like the above poster said, if your looking for olive garden Italian then you have choices....il Mulino is the closest to real Italian (I don’t consider the Italy pavilion to be real Italian either, just a higher end version of Tony's)

we had an exceptional meal at Mama Melrose's... we were more than disappointed in Tony's... have not tried the new restaurant in Italy nor Il Mulino (which is not on the dining plan if that matters)

I posted a review of our experience at Tony's and Tutto Italia on our recent trip in Nov. We loved Tutto Italia and it in no way compares to Tony's or Mamma Melrose. Tony's and Mommas is probably a small step above Olive Garden. Tutto Italia is a real Italian restaurant. Everything was so fresh and homemade and you could tell the difference! I haven't tried Il Mulino yet.

Real Italian food, I would say Il Mulino. I posted a review in my thread on the review board, if you want to check it out. It was great.

Portobello Yacht Club at DTD.
