"It was the time of our lives!" WL Jan 10-15 2010 NEW: 5/17 PTR LINK UP!! PG 44

HI EVERYONE!! I am so sorry that I have not posted lately on my TR or yours, but my computer is broken  Hopefully it can get fixed soon (at the shop now) or I can talk my DH into buying me a nice, shiney new one ;) Hope to catch up with all of you soon!!!

Hey Katie!!! Sorry I've been MIA recently but I'm back now and all caught up!! I loved hearing about LTT--the characters were so cute and the food looks so yummy! I don't understand why they couldn't just keep characters there, too?!

Sorry to hear about your computer! Our regular computer just died--thankfully we had an external hard drive hooked up to it that updated everyday. I use my laptop mostly, anyway. I hope to see you back here very soon!! :goodvibes

I hope you got the good news about your computer you wanted--either a new one or the other was able to be repaired. I sure hope you did not lose any of your stuff (pictures, documents, etc).

Hello everyone! Our computer is fixed, so now I can get going on the rest of my TR :cool1:

I last left you as we secured great last minute spots for the Move It/Shake It parade---right in front of the castle

After the parade ended, we made a bee line for....

TOMORROWLAND!

We wanted to go check out the Monsters Inc Laugh Floor! I only have one picture of our experience. Partly because my husband was taking a business call and so I was trying to manage the kids in the waiting area—and partly because they do not let you take pictures of the show!

Here is a picture of the lobby and the television.

DisneyDay4MK2010278.jpg

When you are waiting to go in, the monsters come on the television screen and do a little pre-show. It is cute, but we all felt that it was a little long, and just wanted to get in already!

Once we were escorted into the large auditorium, the show started. What a GREAT show!! We were laughing so hard and the kids were eating it up. We can not wait to go back! We especially loved how they pick real people out of the audience to involve in the show.

After we got out of the Laugh Floor, we decided to go and find the Astro Orbiter. Let me tell you…I did not realize it was ON TOP of the Tomorrowland Transit Authority! It looked SOOOO high and we were all a little intimidated. We decided instead to get on the TTA! What a nice relaxing ride and, of course, NO wait!

After some Tomorrowland fun, we made our way back into….

ADVENTURELAND!

And it was here that we experienced one of the best rides of the day—Aladdin’s Carpet Ride!
We were not able to ride this last trip and we absolutely LOVED it. Especially my DD (6). I think that we rode about 3 or 4 times in a row! She was giggling the whole way. Here are some shots while we were soaring above Adventureland!

DisneyDay4MK2010287.jpg

DisneyDay4MK2010292.jpg

I hear that the camel actually spits at you, but because of the cool weather, they had him turned off

When we exited the ride for the last time, I looked down on the concrete floor. My travel agent had sent me a few WDW tips about “hidden” fun and one pertained to the jewels that were on the ground right outside of the carpet ride. They were so pretty and colorful! Make sure to look next time you are there.

After taking a few family pics, we saw that it was time for the afternoon stage show and the parade! I sent my DH with the kids to check out the show while I went to secure our parade spot. Here are some pics that he took from the show. They really enjoyed it!

DisneyDay4MK2010311.jpg

DisneyDay4MK2010332.jpg

DisneyDay4MK2010336.jpg

While they were enjoying the castle show, I staked out the perfect parade spot. I ended up deciding on the curb right in front of Casey’s Corner restaurant. My thinking was that the kids would be able to use the restroom behind the restaurant when they got there and we would be close to food and drink. Also, here was our view down Main Street!!

DisneyDay4MK2010374.jpg

And our castle view (and the crane--haha)—

DisneyDay4MK2010356.jpg

It was really the best of both worlds! Also, we were on the opposite side of the SUN! Lots of people were having trouble shading their faces from the bright sun while we were very comfy in the shade. I had read great reviews about waiting for the parade in Liberty Square or Frontierland, but there is something great about being on Main Street and soaking in the atmosphere. I do try out the Frontierland parade tip later on so, stay tuned to see how we liked it popcorn::

I would say that I got to our spot about 30 minutes early. The kids and my DH joined me and they had picked up a few Mickey ice cream bars! They enjoyed eating their treats while waiting on the curb. It was an adorable site to watch them. At one point, my DS gave my husband a bite of his and then gave him a big kiss. You could tell that they were really enjoying themselves.

Cont on next post…

The parade started shortly after the kids were done with their snacks. A new addition to the parade is the Volunteer pre-portion of the parade. The Muppets come out and “volunteer dancers” with paint rollers dance in the street. They also chose a family who was visiting WDW after volunteering and had them ride in the parade. Here are a few pics!

DisneyDay4MK2010373.jpg

Then…the big parade began! I know that most of you have seen pics of it, so let me pick a few of my favorites—

DisneyDay4MK2010377.jpg

DisneyDay4MK2010387.jpg

DisneyDay4MK2010411.jpg

My daughter especially enjoyed the extra “magic dust” that the Fairy Godmother was throwing to the children. She caught a little and put it in her pocket.

DisneyDay4MK2010414.jpg

What an AMAZING parade!! We just loved it.

After the parade, we decided to do a little shopping. We headed into the candy shop and bought fresh cotton candy. My DH also got his WDW fudge fix and bought a peanut butter and white chocolate assortment. SOOOO GOOD!

We walked through the candy store and into Le Chapeau to buy our Mickey Ears! I had seen a little girl earlier in Tomorrowland with her Mickey Ears and she as using them in a very creative way! I was inspired and so I decided that we would do the same. My DD bought the pink princess ears and my DS picked the light blue “baby” ears. We put them away to use later on that night. Stay tuned to see how we use them!!

After hitting up a few more stores, we ended up buying Disney t-shirts, princess rings and necklaces and an adorable mini Toontown Mickey House with figurines. We had our purchases sent to our room and we were on our way to….

FANTASYLAND!

Abby had a very big decision to make. Should she buy an Ariel or a Belle costume? Let me tell you, this girl agonized over this decision all day and she was finally prepared to make her final choice! princess:

UP NEXT: Tinkerbell Treasures—the big decision! We use our Mickey Ears to create memories and try again to see the fairies. Stay tuned!

Great updates Katie! It sounds like a wonderful afternoon and all your Disney "swag" sounds great! Can't wait to hear about the dress choice and the Mickey ears! popcorn::popcorn::

Sara

What a great update, Katie! Isn't the Laugh Floor soooo cute? We just loved it! We laughed so hard during the show! I can't wait to hear how you used your kids' ears, and which dress your daughter chooses. Belle is my favorite, and Ariel is my second favorite--I'm anxious to hear which one she wants more! It sounds like your family had an absolutely incredible vacation! :thumbsup2

I love the description of your children watching the parade and sharing ice-cream, so cute!

Can't wait to see what you do with the ears :goodvibes

That’s right everyone...a second update today!I figured I should catch up from the time lost while my computer was broken.

By the way, Happy St. Patty’s day!

We were making our way down Main Street, heading towards Fantasyland. Our mission was to get to Tinkerbell’s Treasures to let Abby pick out a new princess costume.

We made it to Tinkerbell’s and the kids posed for a picture outside—

DisneyDay4MK2010421-1.jpg

When we walked inside, both Abby and I got very excited. I don’t know who enjoys princess attire more  I am really trying to cherish these “Princess” moments with her because I know all too soon, she will move on from this phase of her life. While it is very upsetting to me, I also know that she will always have a special place for the Princesses in her heart (just like I still do as an adult---and I am sure most of you too!) But, on the bright side, I still have many more dress up/pretend princess years with her for now so for that, I am grateful. It is important for me to remind myself to soak in these moments while my kids are still young.

Abby had been wanting to get an Ariel costume since we were in Disney last year. She picked the gorgeous teal Ariel wedding gown from BBB when we were last here, but she really wanted the one with the flipper…the REAL mermaid costume. Well...when she began to see the Belle costumes upon arriving this trip, she was very confused. Belle has increasingly become one of her favorites recently. Here she is checking out some pajamas while still thinking---

DisneyDay4MK2010426-1.jpg

What a BIG decision this princess had to make. The CM heard us talking about the two costumes and she offered her help. She had Abby come to the desk and she grabbed her wand. She said a special “princess/fairy” chant and sprinkled pixie dust all over her head and her bow! It was just beautiful :lovestruc

DisneyDay4MK2010422-1.jpg

LOVE the little girl in the background. Look how excited she was to see it!

After she had her pixie dust moment, Abby knew which one to choose….

ARIEL!

She decided that she would stick to her original idea and that when we came back in December, she would get Belle. We got the crown, a necklace and the costume. Here is a pic of the costume. She looked great in it and really loves it!

SaintsSB2010021.jpg

BUT, the good news is that this princess does not have to wait long for her Belle costume…

She will be turning 7 soon and will be having an American Girl party. My DH and I are getting her the Belle dress that she wanted! Here is a pic of what it looks like. We have not gotten it in the mail yet—

BELLEDRESS.jpg

I also ordered a special treat for her American Girls…..a matching Belle dress!! I found it on Disneystore.com. Isn’t it just precious?

http://www.disneystore.com/disney/s...logFromSearch=10002&catalogId=10002&langId=-1

She will be thrilled and will bring it with her to BBB in December along with her American Girl all dressed up!

OK---kind of got off of the TR there---

We left Tinkerbell’s and were exited to go to our next destination, Philarmagic!

DisneyDay4MK2010438.jpg

When we walked in, we were escorted into the waiting area.

DisneyDay4MK2010429.jpg

With our 3D glasses in hand, we entered the auditorium after about a 10 minute wait.

DisneyDay4MK2010436.jpg

What a GREAT show! I put the 3D glasses on Aiden (2) every now and then, but would take them off during the intense scenes as he had no idea why things were shooting out at him! Our favorite part was the scents of the pies on the B&TB part! SO FUN!

It was very nice to sit down after a long day of walking. At this point, I think we realized how tired we were getting from our full MK day.

Cont on next post…

When we went to Adventureland earlier in the day, the Jungle Cruise had a bit of a wait. We decided to go back and try to ride again. This time, we walked right on

DisneyDay4MK2010462.jpg

When the boat started going, Aiden fell right asleep. If you remember, Pluto woke him up earlier at LTT from his nap, so he was due to fall asleep again. Our tour guide was ok, she really did not capture many people’s attention. I kept thinking that she looked so familiar. I stared at her the whole time and when we got off of the ride, it hit me. She was our Movie Ride CM/Director from our 08 trip! I wasn’t too impressed with her then so, I think that is how I put the two together. It is really neat, however, how the CMs bounce around like that:thumbsup2

Here are some pics from the ride

DisneyDay4MK2010453.jpg

DisneyDay4MK2010458.jpg

Too bad Aiden missed it, I know he would have enjoyed the boat ride!!

We placed Aiden in the stroller and let him snooze. Off to TOON TOWN!

Along the way, the sun had set and I snapped a few pretty pictures of the castle!

DisneyDay4MK2010477.jpg

Those shots never get old!

When we arrived in TT, my DH stayed with Aiden while he slept. They found a nice place on a bench by Mickey’s house. I took Abby (and our new Mickey Hats!) to see the fairies and princesses!

When we got to the Judge’s Tent, Mickey and Minnie had NO wait at all. The CM rushed us through and really gave us the VIP treatment. She was so kind and accomodating. Took lots of pics for us. We ended up using our mouse ears as autograph souvenirs! I saw a little girl earlier that day with her hat on her head full of signatures. I thought it was a great idea.

DisneyDay4MK2010480-1.jpg

After posing with M&M, we found literally NO line at the Princesses!

DisneyDay4MK2010482.jpg

We walked into the room and were behind only one other family. The door closed behind us automatically. I heard the mother in front of me talking about how she was making her little boys meet the princesses because she has always dreamed of meeting Cinderella:laughing:

Then, she realized that one of her sons was missing! The CMs were VERY helpful and immediately opened the automatic door. Another CM had found him as he was closed out by the door! He was crying and I felt SO bad for him. I was, however, very impressed with the CMs and their calm and reassuring attitudes towards the situation.

After finding the lost boy (ha!), it was on to the princesses!

DisneyDay4MK2010486-1.jpg

DisneyDay4MK2010489-1.jpg

DisneyDay4MK2010492.jpg

They were all so nice and we spent a good 5 minutes with each one. Aurora was my favorite! When she found out we were from Louisiana, she said she and her Prince would call up Princess Tiana and go to New Orleans to eat the good food. Very creative! I also recognized her from our Princess Breakfast in 08 at Akershus! That is 2 CMs in 1 hour from our last trip!

Here is how the kid’s Mouse Ears turned out. Super cute!
SaintsSB2010044.jpg

SaintsSB2010045.jpg

SaintsSB2010042.jpg

SaintsSB2010047-2.jpg

We did try to see the fairies, but the wait was even worse…70 minutes!!! Abby is not really that into the fairies (not enough to wait in line that long!) so, we headed back to meet my DH and DS.

We were all very tired and decided to call it a day. We walked down Main Street on the way out to take in the sights and sounds.

DisneyDay4MK2010498.jpg

DisneyDay4MK2010502.jpg

When we got back to the WL, I ran down and got us a quick dinner at the Counter Service and brought it up to the room. Aiden was STILL asleep and would not wake up for anything. The rest of us ate our dinner, then showered and went right to bed. It had been a LONG but WONDERFUL day at the MK!

UP NEXT: What happens when a 2 year old goes to bed at 6pm? Will we even make it to DHS so that Aiden can meet his favorite characters, Lightning and Handy Manny? Stay tuned!

Awww...I love the Ariel costume - so cute! And what a special moment in the store with the CM! :goodvibes

Great idea with the ears! They look great!

It sounds like a wonderful rest of your day at the most magical place on earth! Hope that foreshadowing doesn't mean what I think it means (about Aiden and his sleeping...)

More please! popcorn::

Sara

The Ariel costume is very cute and how wonderful that you've bought her the Belle one too :goodvibes

I love what you did with the ears, so cute!

No, I actually ended up buying an AP at my TA suggestion. Even with the added cost for my ticket we came out about $250 ahead with the AP room discount. Plus I got 40% (or maybe it was 35% - can't remember) off our room for May with it and don't need to buy a park ticket for myself this trip, so the AP has more than paid for itself! :woohoo:

They did offer free dining last December but it ended right before we got there - maybe they will again and you'll be able to take advantage of that. :thumbsup2

I'm so glad that you enjoyed LTT! Jared & I went once before when it was still a character meal and we had a great time, and the food this last time was good, it was just that the service was so bad. Maybe we just caught them on a bad night.

I would LOVE to get an AP!!! Tried to talk my DH into it and he just did not go for it! haha I want to show him how much you end up saving in the end!!

I hope they do the free dining again!! I ended up getting a 30% off code so that will help some.

I LOVED LTT. But, I have heard that about the service a lot!! I want to make sure we schedule enough time just in case they are running slow next time we go.

Hello! Katie
Yea! for Aiden riding his first coaster, the line was so long in May that we had skipped it last May. But, it gave the idea maybe we should try Ashton out on this before we try some of the bigger rides this year.

What wonderful interaction at LTT! you guys were so lucky! and the decorations in Toontown are so cute. Ashton loved all the playgrounds last year...but, I'm hoping he will let us pass them by this year...last year when we were there a child lost his choc. milk (why do parents give children milk in 90 degree + heat--please think about what is going to happen when they run around :headache: ).

I wish we would get a pin for free dining:worship: before we leave...how awesome would that be.
sounds like a great day!
:wave2: Connie

Hi Connie!! Ewwwww would NEVER give my kids milk on a hot day. That is just gross. I want free dining too!!! I just got a 30% off so that is good, but dining would save us more! Ashton would do great on the Barnstormer!

LTT sounds incredible! It is back to its normal service when we are there or I might have tried to add it in. The food looked so yummy! I'm glad they liked the Barnstormer. I can't believe how un-crowded it was! I hope we get some of those low crowds (its predicted to be moderate, which I can live with).

I think your crowd levels will be fine!! LTT is REALLY good. But, without the characters, it is only good to go for the food. I still don't know why they took the characters away?!

Aren't crowd levels just great in January?! Even if you do miss out on some of the Florida sunshine at least you aren't sweating waiting in line! :lmao:

LTT looks so yummy! I have never considered that restaurant but I'm thinking I need to add it to my list of places to try. All of that food looks so good - and there was so much of it! :thumbsup2 And how great that you got to see the characters there! I just love Minnie's dress! :lovestruc

You would LOVE it! I just read on a blog that they have their normal menu for lunch and the family style menu for dinner (like we ate). I would have to say to to the dinner, it is to DIE for! It was such a treat to see the characters!

Wow, that LTT experience sounds amazing! It really does sound like you had the "time of your lives" at that meal. It sounds like you also got some really great character interaction in there!

Thanks for the link on the customs. I may have to inquire about whether there is enough time to get a shirt done before our trip.

I think the Barnstormer may be a bit much for our little gal. She is a bit more timid and gets freaked out easily. We had success with the "tamer" rides like Small World, Pooh, Nemo the ones in Epcot, but the I think an actual roller coaster would be to scary for her. Oh well, I guess I have to save something for our next trips, right?

Great update!

I hope you were able to get your customs! She is so quick. Yes, the barnstormer is not for the tame at heart! I was a little scared myself (ha)~

I cannot believe that Peter Pan had a 5 minute wait! I have NEVER seen that! Awesome!

I haven't had any interest in eating at LTT, but your review is making me reconsider that. I will have to keep that in mind for our next trip. It looked and sounded wonderful!

Isnt that just crazy?! When we saw the 5 min wait on PP, we just could not pass it up. LTT was amazing! I would say even without the characters will still be a favorite of ours. I just read on a blog that they sell their normal menu during lunch and their family style food (like we ate) for dinner. I am scheduling the dinner in December when we go back! Food is amazing!

Awww, thats cool!!

I got one too.....for 40% room only for December! Sure wish we were going!! :(

UGH just got a 30% off yesterday. I am not complaining, but we signed up for the Give a Day, Get a Day and so, I think they kind of lowered our discount b/c of the free tickets we are getting!! I really want 40% or free dining. Did you get it in a pin code or public discount?

Sorry I have been MIA here lately. I'm all caught up. Looks like a gorgeous day at MK. What low wait times!! What were your dates? I really want to go mid January. The kids have a 5 day weekend so it would be perfect! Yay, for Abby conquering BTM. She must of been so proud. I love HM. How cool that you were able to ride almost everything double. Aiden must of been thrilled to ride his first big ride. I'm glad to hear he loved it!
Lunch looks so good. We had dinner at LTT a few years ago when they had the characters. I would love to go back if they bring back the characters. Colonial Minnie is just too cute. How sweet of Abby to draw Minnie a picture. I'm glad Minnie like it.:goodvibes

I dont know why LTT wont bring back the characters! They were GREAT!

Our dates were January 10-15th. The time was just perfect b/c all of the Christmas/New Years people had left and the marathon was over the day we got there. There were no crowds at all the entire trip! You should look into it!

HM was awesome!!! I can not wait to ride it again! SO glad you are back--thanks for reading!

So glad to hear the LTT food was so good!! DBF and I much prefer good, home-y food over extremely "fancy" meals, so this looks like a good place for us to try!!
That stinks about Tiana-- he could have just let you guys through! (but then I guess he'd have to do that for everyone...still, though!)

YES! You need to try LTT! I would say do the dinner where they are offering the family style meal like we ate. It was just AMAZING! You will love it. Thanks for reading!!

Yay for Aiden on his first WDW rollercoaster!

Sounds like an excellent day for touring Fantasyland! Too bad the Judge's Tent didn't also have a 5 minute wait!

Definitely sounds like a great lunch at LTT. Looking forward to hearing more!

Thanks for reading! It was a dream day at MK for sure!! Read my new update, we end up getting in to see a few characters later on!

Yay for continuing low crowds--what a great way to experience MK (besides the Judge's tent area). Aiden rode his first coaster--did he want to do it again? I am so excited you had such a great experience at LTT--that is on our list for September. Aww--I hope you were able to meet Tiana another time. I sure hope she is still out when we go--I have heard nothing but great responses when you actually get to meet her. :goodvibes Looking forward to reading about your shopping escapades!

You will LOVE LTT!!! I just keep raving about it. I dont know that he would have wanted to get back on, but he was quite proud of himself (ha)! I think he would love it now that he is a little older. I will post about Tiana very soon!! We do end up seeing her and she was GREAT!

Awww how fantastic that Aidan got to ride his first coaster, I actually won't ride that one any more as I don't like it :rotfl:

Your meal at LTT looked great I hope they bring the characters back full time :goodvibes

I hope they bring them back, too! I was totally scared on the ride, so I dont think I will be doing it again. It was not very gentle at all!!

Oh my goodness. You've updates so much! Sorry I've been gone forever again...it's been crazy. :sad2: But your TR is wonderful!! I've loved catching up.

First off, your kids' customs are adorable. :goodvibes And Abby's hairbows are too! Do you have lots of non-Disney customs too, or do you mainly just get them for trips and things?

The WDW iPhone apps are amazing. It's good to know that the wait time one worked so well. I'm sure it saved you lots of time running all over to see the waits.

Poor little Aiden with his leg. But thank goodness it didn't really hurt him and he was fine the rest of the trip!

I think that I said "AW!" out loud when I read about Abby's first souvenirs. How sweet that she picked something to remember with her brother and something else for him. What a sweet big sister. :cutie:

Tangerine Cafe looks amazing!! I'm still sad that we didn't get to eat there on our trip. Hopefully next time...

Aiden dancing all over WDW is just adorable. I'm sure everyone just loved watching him. And Abby's sombrero picture is SO cute!

How amazing that Mickey took the banner outside so he could write on it. The CMs are just incredible. I love how they go out of their way to make your trip so special. :goodvibes

And finally...this last post...

YAY! for Abby riding her first big rollercoaster! And for Aiden riding his first little coaster! Your kids look like they're such good ages for Disney World. Was this trip better than yours last year as far as their ages go? And Mickey's and Minnie's houses are so cute decorated for Christmas! The non-crowds look amazing. It looks like January is a lot like Sept/Oct.

I can't wait to read more!! And I promise I'll try my hardest to stay up to date this time!

HAHAH thank you for all of your comments!!! I am so happy that you were able to catch up! Sorry to do this to you, but I updated two more times lastnight! (ha)!

I just read through your whole TR!!

Wilderness Lodge looks amazing! I'm really enjoying hearing about your trips, and your kids outfits are super cute!!

WOW!!!! Thanks SOO much for reading!! WL was beyond our dreams..we are going to stay there again in December! Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy my new updates!

Hi Katie! Wow, I was really far behind! Ok, all caught up now. :)

We just LOVE Epcot! Everytime we go, I find myself wanting to spend more and more time there!

We've never eaten at Tangerine Cafe but my cousin's DW surprised me with a slice of baklava from there on our Dec. trip and it was sooooo good!! If the rest of the food is anything like that, then we're just gonna have to try it someday! ;)

I love those stuffed animal babies! We have a Minnie Mouse one. :lovestruc

We just saw Marie in France for the first time last Dec. Isn't she the cutest!! :cutie:

Yay for Abby and Aiden's rollercoaster rides! :woohoo: Miren's first rollercoaster was BTMRR on our short Sept. trip last year - funny, she's never been on Goofy's coaster and all of a sudden we're all getting on BTM and she says she wants to come too! :confused3 Ok, I said thinking she would back out halfway down the line - well, it happened to be a walk-on so she wasn't able to think about it! When we got off......."That was awesome! I want to go again!" - so we did! :thumbsup2

Low crowds! :cool1: September last year was like that, too....December - not so much. :rotfl:

Hooray for pin codes!!:cheer2: We got one last year...haven't got one this year - yet. Fingers crossed!!!!!! ;)

HI!!!!! So glad you are all caught up!!
You would love Tangerine Cafe! We are loved it all and the atmosphere can't be beat!

Marie is the CUTEST character I have ever seen. I just loved her.

When did you go in December, again? We are thinking of going Dec 12-16th. I hope it is not TOO bad.

I got a 30% off pin code. Hoping for a 40% off or Free Dining for our Dec trip! Thanks for reading!!!

:goodvibes

The characters are amazing!!! We are still going to go back in December b.c the food and atmosphere were so good!

We just added mozy.com to update our info in our computer. We are still looking, but I found a laptop we both really like so I think we will get it this weekend! Glad you are back girl!!!

I hope you got the good news about your computer you wanted--either a new one or the other was able to be repaired. I sure hope you did not lose any of your stuff (pictures, documents, etc).

The other one was just fine...it needed a power cord!!! Took $100 to tell me that my power cord was out..ugh.

We are still looking at new laptops. We could really use a faster one. They have lots of good deals right now!

Great updates Katie! It sounds like a wonderful afternoon and all your Disney "swag" sounds great! Can't wait to hear about the dress choice and the Mickey ears! popcorn::popcorn::

Sara

Well it was your lucky day since I updated twice!! Thanks, we love our purchases too!!!!

:thumbsup2

The Laugh Floor was a huge surprise. We just LOVED it! Check out my new post about the costumes. I love Belle too!!!! We did have an awesome time!

I love the description of your children watching the parade and sharing ice-cream, so cute!

Can't wait to see what you do with the ears :goodvibes

Thank you!! It was such a special little moment I will never forget.

More please! popcorn::

Sara

HAHA you know how kids are, their sleeping patters get thrown off when we travel!!

Thanks so much for the comments on the ears! I loved the idea.

We had a SUPER MK day I will never forget!

The Ariel costume is very cute and how wonderful that you've bought her the Belle one too :goodvibes

I love what you did with the ears, so cute!

Thank you!! Her Daddy made it clear she had to wear a tshirt under it and not show her belly (ha!)

Aw, I'm so happy that Abby picked the Little Mermaid costume! I'm sure she was just adorable in it! :cutie: And I just LOVE that AG Belle costume! I wish they had those when I was little! I have Samantha and Molly (do they still even make those?) and the Bitty Baby. I loved American Girls. I also had a AG subscription for years and a lot of the books (like cooking, crafts, etc.) and a lot of the original stories that went along with the dolls... Sorry to get off on AG stuff, I just loved them when I was little! :goodvibes I'm sure Abby will be SOOOO excited to see that you and your DH ordered the Belle costume for her AND her AG doll! You'll have to take pictures.

We just love Philharmagic too--it's the best 3D/4D show at Disney World!! What a special meeting with Mickey, Minnie, and the Princesses! I can't believe there were no lines. And the hats were a great idea. I can't believe how much you were able to pack into this day with two kiddos! It's no wonder that Aiden conked out. I hope he doesn't wake up half-way through the night, thinking it's morning! Can't wait to read more!

Great updates! I love the MK. Those ears and the frame turned out sooooo cute. I may have to keep that idea in mind. That nonexsistant line for the princesses is great! But :scared1: 70 minutes for the fairies! Oh my. I guess I have resigned myself to the fact that we will have to wait in it or get there at TT RD. I'm excited to hear about your day at DHS!

Staci---We must be around the same age, b/c I loved AG so much when I was little (and the clear bows with candy in them like we talked about before---ha!)

My mother, unfortunately, gave my AG dolls and books away to a child who wanted them after I left for college. I had Samantha and Molly too!! Samantha has since been retired (booo) she was my absolute favorite. I wanted to be her! haha

Molly is still offered and my daughter wants her for Christmas this year! I cant wait. Keep ALL of your AG stuff for your little girl. I have a feeling they will be around for a long time! You should check out the new dolls and the old ones (like Molly, Felicity, etc) at www.americangirl.com. They have a new doll called Rebecca that is sort of a replacement for Samantha. They look alike.

I cant believe we got so much done either! It was easy with no crowds though. I will updated about DHS tonight hopefully. I want to finish this TR so I can start my PTR :goodvibes Thanks for reading!

Thanks!!! Abby loved the signitures on the hat so I know your DD will too. From what I understand, the only way to see the fairies is to get there RIGHT when TT opens (the RD like you were saying). It is hard when you want to get Fastpasses or ride other big rides (like Space or BTMR) before the park gets crowded. But, if she loves the fairies, then it is worth it. My DD is more into the princesses. I think we are going to TT RD when we go back during Christmas and our trip is a little more relaxed.

Should update about DHS tonight! Thanks for reading, girl :lovestruc I am getting excited about YOUR TR :cool1:
