Still loving the report! You guys got a lot done so far during your DHS day. I am curious as to how you handled the rude woman trying to take over your parade spot. I certainly hope that you held your own and did not let her ruin the moment for your kids. Somehow, I feel that you took care of the situation!

We love the GMR too. It was a very nice surprise. I wasn't expecting much from it but we loved it.
What is it with people busting in line at the parades? I just don't get it! I'll never understand what makes an adult act worse than a child.

I enjoyed the Great Movie Ride too! It's not a "must-do" for us each time, but we do enjoy it!

Staci---We must be around the same age, b/c I loved AG so much when I was little (and the clear bows with candy in them like we talked about before---ha!)
My mother, unfortunately, gave my AG dolls and books away to a child who wanted them after I left for college. I had Samantha and Molly too!! Samantha has since been retired (booo) she was my absolute favorite. I wanted to be her! haha
Molly is still offered and my daughter wants her for Christmas this year! I cant wait. Keep ALL of your AG stuff for your little girl. I have a feeling they will be around for a long time! You should check out the new dolls and the old ones (like Molly, Felicity, etc) at www.americangirl.com. They have a new doll called Rebecca that is sort of a replacement for Samantha. They look alike.
I cant believe we got so much done either! It was easy with no crowds though. I will updated about DHS tonight hopefully. I want to finish this TR so I can start my PTR
I wanted to be Samantha too! I always thought that she was sooo classy. And I had glasses off and on when I was little, and I have blue/green eyes, so I wanted Molly too! They're by far my favorites. First off, I've LOVED reading along! Your family is just precious, and I'm so glad that you've decided to share your trip with all of us! So cute. I'm sure you all really enjoyed that. And I bet it brightened their day that you would respond to them!

AG was SUCH a big deal when I was little! I have my Molly, Samantha, and Bitty Baby in a tub under our bed. I can't wait until I have a little girl to give them to.
It's so crazy that they have so many different dolls now. And now that they have a Girl of Today doll for each year...it's almost too much to keep up with! I'll have to take a look at that website. My cousin's little girl went to the AG Store in Dallas for her 4th bday. I've still never been to one of their stores, but the monthly catalog used to be the highlight of my month--that, and the AG Magazine once I started getting it!
Aw, I'm so sorry that your mom gave your stuff away! I still have 10 of the books (I guess I never bought the others). I know how frustrating that can be, though, because my mom let me sell all of my My Little Ponies (I had bags full!) in a garage sale when I was little. I would give anything to have them back! That's so neat that Abby wants Molly. I'm sure it'll bring back all kinds of memories when she gets her!

My camera doesn't do well in the Great Movie Ride at all! Your pics turned out lots better than mine. Your OZ picture is especially good. Do you remember what settings you had it on?
YAY!!! I'm so glad that you finally got to ride TSM! Wasn't it just fantastic?! We absolutely loved it. Did having TSM for the Wii help?
And we had that same Belle for our first B&tB Performance! Wasn't she so good? We really, really liked her a lot. You got such great seats--especially since it was already pretty full when you came in.
And that is hilarious that the Sheriff and the Director kept on picking on your family!
(Seeing a theme here?) Luckily-Abby loves them too and has a whole bucket full.

Wow, glowing review of TSM. So much wealth of information in it--glad to know it is so fabulous and we will do the best we can to ride it. My DD saw the TSM seat and told me I can have the green shooter and she wants the yellow one.
So glad DH got to ride TOT. The Beauty and the Beast show looks amazing--another thing on our to do list!
Pin Trading: I really want to consider doing pin trading with my DD. Did you get a lanyard before you went or down at the park? The same with the pins? I am considering buying a set off of eBay to begin but to let DD pick out a lanyard when we got down there. So great the CM explained about pin trading--I had no idea about the special tiny silver Mickey ear on them. Something to watch out for! I really should read more about it.

YES! TSM is a must and totally worth the wait. It is hard to explain what we loved about it---the whole thing was just FUN! And how cute your DD already knows what color she wants in the cart
B&B is a family favorite. We all really enjoy it.
We actually had a lanyard from home, but she talked me into letting her buy a new one at the Wilderness Lodge. I dont know if I wrote about it...I would suggest that you buy some pins online (but I have been advised to be careful and make sure they are official Disney pins). The pins in the park are very expensive. It would be helpful to get her started. I would not let Abby trade with other people (as far as approaching random tourists) but I let her trade with the CMs. It worked out great and they were all super nice about it! It was a nice way to transition her into real trading later on. HTH
I am so torn on what to do about the lanyard...hmm luckily I have time to decide!
