That was very nice of you to let the parade squashers kids watch from your spot I know it would be hard to look at little excited faces and turn them away! I soooo know the kind of lady you are talking about too - way overwhelmed.

Sounds like you guys had some great charcter interactions that afternoon!

On Star Tours - I personally don't like it, it's very jerky and it makes me feel a little ill. That being said, it is about to undergo a big referb, so hopefully it will be better!

We really enjoyed Whispering Canyon Cafe as well and wouldn't hesitate to go back in the future.

I have heard the same thing about Star Tours---I really have avoided it so that I do not get sick I would be really interested to ride it when it is updated! I know my husband will be really excited!

I really was looking forward to doing a better review of WCC with more pics, I was just not feeling up to it that night. We really enjoyed ourselves, though!

It was SO funny! I am happy we found it! There were also "coloring" computers where you use a touch screen to color in different scenes from movies. My daughter really enjoyed that!

OMG and you got to meet Dug from Up!! .... when my sister & I went in December we queued to meet Russell & Carl - then at the last minute, Dug came out too.. i screamed out "DUG!!" like a small child - the family in front thought i was nuts!!

And on Star Tours: we go on every time because my boyfriend is a bit of a geek and loves Star Wars. They're currently filming a new 3D movie for it and I think it'll debut sometime in 2011? I could be making that up though...so I would definitely check out the new one. But honestly, the current one is okay. Once you've done it once there's no need to go again.

I think that you would be just fine. As long as you are prepared for loud kids and games, you will do great. Again, I would say that it is most like Ohana, family oriented but fun for everyone.

HAHA your Doug comment just confirmed that you will do great at WCC.

If anything, it is wonderful to see the WL...especially in Dec! HTH!

I know!!! I was kind of mad at myself for not knowing about it! Thanks for the info on Star Tours. I think we will wait for the updated version....although...my brother in law will def. want to ride in Dec. (he is a Star Wars "geek" too!) so I will most likely hop on.

as for Star Tours the ride; I did not get to ride last year due to Ashton but it has always been one we have enjoyed. In fact Danny and Dayne managed to ride twice last May. If you like Star Wars you will enjoy the staging area and the ride...if you can give it a shot in Dec I would say to try. I'm sure your DH and Abby will really like it.

I have heard to be very careful about the pins you buy on Ebay...but it is a huge money saver if you do!!

Parade cutters aren't cool. I can't believe those people took your spot when you went to the stroller!!!! At least they apologized. That was really nice of you to give the kids your spot. I'm sure you added some magic to those kids' day.
The parade is so much fun! We loved it. I love how live and upbeat it is.
Yay for meeting Mickey, Up characters, and Leo and Annie with short lines. I love Mickey and Abby's pose. The pictures with the Up gang and the little Einsteins are just too cute. I'm so glad Aiden got to meet his cars. He must of been on cloud 9.
I don't do Star Wars because I get sick on it but the rest of the family did is last May. They were very disappointed in it. A lot of people like it, I just guess we aren't big Star Wars fans.
We love WCC! It's so much fun! I wanted to eat there in May but there just isn't time. Hopefully we'll eat there when we go for either MVMCP or MNSSHP! Oh no about feeling sick. I hope it was just allergies and it went away just as quickly as it came. I know how the hubby having to work at Disney is. A few years ago we were on Spaceship Earth and Mitch's crackberry goes off. He checks his email and he sees that his partner missed up on scheduling all of their appointments. He needed of the ride pronto. (of course it broke) He then went to the room for a few hours. Hopefully one day we'll be able to take a trip with out the blackberry.

Agh Katie you keep making me want to go and change my ADR's! First your glowing review of LTT and now this rave review of WCC!! I am having to restrain myself from going to the Disney Dining page and checking for availability. That would mean totally rearranging our schedule though so I am trying to control the urge! Aww, that was a great update! Again, my little Lily was so excited to see pics of your kids with the Einsteins - she was so happy to see the Annie and Leo pics. I am hoping we'll get to see them when we are there and that she won't be too afraid of them in person!

Love the caricature pic. That's such a great memento from the trip.

WCC looks like a good meal. I wasn't able to convince my DH to go there this time around, maybe next time. It's on my to-do list for a future trip though.

To answer your question about Star Tours, WE LOVE IT! But- I know that it is not for everyone. It can be jerky, but you really do feel like you're on a crashing space ship. Too fun.

HOWEVER - it could totally use a refurb to make it more modern. The demo shows people wearing 80's clothes.

Glad to hear that you spoke up for your spot at the parade. I too know that Disney overload feeling, but I wouldn't steal someone's place. People are something!

You hit the jackpot at Animation Studios with the characters and no lines! Loved the character pictures in there. I really want to see the Incredibles!

WC sounds yummy and fun! We've never eaten there. Sorry your night wasn't the best. I got very lucky because DH took his work cell phone on our first trip to WDW, but it wouldn't work as soon as we crossed the Florida border!! I was so happy about that!

I love the caricature! It is so neat that he drew the mickey ears on! I love that!
