Disney did something very nice for me one night. I was so happy to see Suzy and Perla on this night :goodvibes I was so happy that I gave Suzy and Perla a hug :goodvibes I was very happy because I got to see Suzy and Perla and I was also very happy because Disney was very nice to me :goodvibes

To save time I am going to copy what I posted on another Disney message board back in November. So when I say last night keep in mind that this was not last night, but when I made this post on the other disney message board back in November it was last night he he >

Anyways this is what I posted:

" When I went to DisneyWorld on Saturday it was a fun day. I was wearing a photo shirt of me with Suzy and Perla and it said " My Tiny Little Friends " on the shirt. I always want to see Suzy and Perla when I am at the parks, but even me so this day since this was the first time that I wore this shirt.

I did have a good day. It was the first day that I used my Dinning card that gives me 20 % off of food and drinks and lots of eating places. I used it at the Plaza Inn. The Plaza Inn had a good Vegetarian Sandwich and they where able to make me a Vegan Bananna Split with no Dairy or Eggs or animals products. I got pictures taken with the character's and some noticed my shirt. Minnie Mouse really liked my shirt.

I was like if only Suzy and Perla where doing pictures today. I did see them in the parade though. Anyways after I met back up with my mom and her grandchild at AllStar Music I was like let me try one more time to see if I can get a picture taken with Suzy and Perla. So I called the 1900 Park Fair and the guy said if I make it their before 8:00 P.M. that I would be able to have Dinner at the 1900 Park Fair and get a picture taken with Suzy and Perla.

Anyways when we got their I asked the gir if Suzy and Perla where for sure their. I wanted to make sure that my tiny little friends where there before I went to have Dinner at the 1900 park fair. She said they where there and she also said she loved my shirt. My mom was not going to eat there but said she would wait for me. But the girl said it would take 1 or 2 hours before I could sit down for Dinner. My mom did not want to wait that long.

But the girl asked if I just wanted a picture taken with Suzy and Perla and I said yes. So she said " let me see what I can do " She said something to another girl and the girl went inside the eating place and I think she went to ask a manager about this. When the girl came out she said Suzy and Perla will be out in 7 min > I even asked if I needed to buy something to drink but the girl said it's okay. She said you are like their biggest fan.

So Suzy and Perla came out and I think it was before 7 min. They look at my shirt and loved it and I got my picture taken with them. I was so happy. Since I did not have much hope of getting a picture taken with them all day and since Disney was so nice by saying I could get a picture taken with them outside the 1900 Park Fair even though I did not eat there well all that made it extra special. Most of the time after I get a picture taken with them I say bye and wave bye to them in a shy cute way. But this time after I had my picture taken with them I gave them both a hug because I was so very happy. They have given me hugs before but this was the first time I gave them a hug lol

O after the picture my mom wanted Garret in the picture. So for the second picture it was Suzy and Perla and Garret and the brother of Garret's mother's, and Garret's Grandmother was in the picture. So I got 2 pictures with Suzy and Perla. That was how my trip ended. Seeing Suzy and Perla always makes me happy and this time it was extra special. Anyways I wanted to share this cute little story with you all, because when I got my picture taken with my 2 little mice friends it made me so happy :) "

Character meals are a lot of fun, aren't they? :)

We've never been to 1900 Park Faire, but it's on my list of things-to-do next time we make it to WDW. How I wish we were three hours away like you!

Yes I love character meals. I am going up to DisneyWorld from the 22nd to 25th and I have 6 character meals booked :goodvibes I will be doing a Suzy and Perla character meal 3 nights in a row for dinner at the 1900 park fair. Also I will be having breakfast at the 1900 park fair ( Alice will be at this breakfast and she is one of my favorite characters ) I also will have breakfast at Cape May Cafe. I also will be having a character lunch at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall.

I am going to try to find a Flower before I go on my vacation. I want to give this Flower to Princess Aurora  It will not be a real Flower, it will be like the Flowers that I gave Suzy and Perla :goodvibes Suzy and Perla loved it when I gave them their gift's :goodvibes I gave Suzy and Perla each a Flower and a picture that I had taken with them and a note that told them that they make me happy :goodvibes

What is a vegan bananna split? Usually a bananna split has ice cream, what did they substitute?

My older dd can't have dairy but loves bananna's and my youngest loves ice cream. If there were a place that coudl make them both happy that would be great!

Thanks
TJ

Well now a days there is like a Vegan alternative to about every kind of dessert. Disney is really good when it comes to making me Vegan ice cream and stuff :goodvibes A some of the places they have Vegan Rice Dream Ice Cream and Vegan Soy Ice Cream ect. :goodvibes They use plant milk instead of cows/animal milk to make this ice cream. Since I love and adore animals so much I don't eat dairy products at all and I am a Vegan :goodvibes

Now the chef used Tofuti to make my vegan bananna split. I told him I wanted that bananna split but that I was a Vegan so I did not eat dairy or honey ect. > He found some Tofuti an used that instead of what they usually use when they make people a bananna split.

Tofuti is made out of Tofu and other stuff and pretty much taste like ice cream :goodvibes Disney is very good when it comes to making my yummy food that is Vegan :goodvibes

I love Cows like I love all animals. It breaks my heart when I think about dairy cows being hooked up to those awful milk machines everyday of their lives :( Those machines hurt like crap and they are hooked up to them like 5 and 6 times a day every day of their lives :( Also in order for Cows to give milk a baby calf must be born. The mother cow and her baby will only be together for 24 hours :(

Mother Cows bond with their babies so when her baby is taken away from her she gets very upset and sad :( Also the baby is upset since he/she is taken away from his/her mother :( If the baby is a male calf many times they are sold to Veal Farmers :( Veal Calves live in a tiny crate and as they grow bigger they will be so cramped that they will not even be able to lie down in comfort. They have a chain around their neck at all times and they are kept in total darkness while they are living in that crate. They are given drugs and antibiotics and awful food and many times they are denied water !!!

This is the main reason why I can't stand the dairy industry. When I think about all the suffering that factory farmed animals go threw it just breaks my heart and many times I get very upset and depressed :(

I have no argument with your stance on commercial dairy farming overall. I agree that the whole veal thing is just yucky and bad. However, I am wondering if you have ever seen a cow being milked by those milking machines. I have many times and have never ever seen a cow that looked like it was in any great discomfort. I also know several dairy farmers who do not have huge ranches, but have enough cows that hand milking would take a really long time so they use the machines. They all milk the cows once in the morning and once in the evening. If the cows are not milked on time that actually does cause discomfort.

At any rate, you have a total right to your opinion and I in no way want to sound like I am arguing that, but I am not sure you have all of your facts straight on this issue.

I will not take your post as an attack. I will take your post as you giving your opinion :goodvibes

I will be getting back with you about the dairy cows.

As the wife of a dairy farmer, I have to tell you that most dairy farmers only milk their cows twice a day. Some do milk 3 times, but I have never heard of a farmer milking 5-6 times a day.

Do the cows suffer when they are being milked? I have never visited a dairy farm. Do the machines hurt them?

Well, all I know is that I spent 4 months pumping while my daughter was in the NICU, and it was a relief each time. I have to think the cows are pretty happy about it too! :teeth:

And you know this from experience :confused3

It doesn't hurt them. It mimics the action of a calf feeding. That's how the milk is expressed- otherwise it wouldn't come out. It's similar (although much BIGGER :rotfl2: ) to a human breast pump, which mimics a baby feeding to get the milk out.

You know, I was thinking, crap really shouldn't hurt. I saw this add for this yogurt that if eaten every day, after two weeks will keep you regular. Maybe this would do the trick for you? Wait, that's a different thread all together.....

I love to cut the heads off my broccoli and listen to them scream :rotfl2:

Mmmmmm, broccoli.

But what do you think it sounds like when broccoli gets smothered in cheese?

Geez, now I'm hungry. Thanks a lot. :rotfl:
